Chapter 513: 513: Do You Really Care About Her?

Chapter 513: Do You Really Care About Her?

Lan Yuyi’s voice became somewhat chilling: “I won’t leave, this is my home, I will never allow another woman to be here, Lingche, send her away immediately, I do not want to see her! She is a home wrecker!”

She refused to leave and the assistant was at a loss about how to forcefully remove her, turning to Lu Lingche for help: “President Lu, what do you think?”

Without a second thought, Lu Lingche grabbed Qiao Yin and started walking away, instructing his assistant as he did so: “Fire the bodyguards who were on duty at the villa today, and from now on, do not let anyone else in!”

“Yes!”

The assistant responded. He knew that by ‘anyone else’, Lu Lingche meant everyone except Qiao Yin.

Seeing that Lu Lingche pushed Qiao Yin into the car and opened the door for her, he quickly got into the driver’s seat.

After getting into the car, he asked, “President Lu, where to?”

“To the Courtyard Sea Villa.”

“Yes!”

Once again, the assistant acknowledged and then drove towards the villa’s front door.

Sitting in the car, Qiao Yin glanced back and saw Lan Yuyi standing at the door, her face streaked with tears and looking pitiful.

She couldn’t articulate her feelings in that moment.

She had always thought that Lu Lingche was harsh towards her and gentle towards Lan Yuyi, but that wasn’t the case. It seemed he could be equally harsh to Lan Yuyi.

Whilst this could be seen as Lan Yuyi getting what she deserved for breaking up a family, the thought still sent shivers down Qiao Yin’s spine.

Lan Yuyi carried his child, and yet he discarded her just like that?

Due to these circumstances, she felt as though she couldn’t understand Lu Lingche at all, having no idea what he might do next.

This was quite terrifying actually.

Had she really so underestimated him?

With force, she pulled her hand from Lu Lingche’s and spoke: “Lu Lingche, let me out of the car. I do not wish to go with you, nor do I want to go to another one of your villas, only to find another one of your women there.”

Lu Lingche was a bit irritated at this point. He found it repugnant that Lan Yuyi had gone to his villa; the bodyguard probably assumed that he had married Lan Yuyi and let her in without notifying him beforehand.

Just when he had pacified Qiao Yin, Lan Yuyi appeared, nullifying all his efforts.

Suppressing his irritation, he spoke quietly: “I didn’t expect Lan Yuyi to show up. Let’s go somewhere else to eat, stay with me.”

“I’m not going! I want to go home! Lu Lingche, just leave me alone! Why don’t you go back to Yuyi? She’s heavily pregnant and needs someone to take care of her. You just left her there – do you even care about her at all?”

“I don’t care.”

“What about the baby? Don’t you care about your child?”

“No.”

“You really are merciless and cold-hearted.”

“True, I am merciless and cold-hearted.”

Qiao Yin was at a loss for words, as he verbally admitted to being so heartless, leaving her unable to rebuke him.

Lu Lingche looked at her indifferently: “You’re so contradictory. Every time we argue, you always berate me for spending time with Lan Yuyi. Now, when I’m not with her, you’re pushing me to be with her. If I don’t, you still berate me?”

Qiao Yin’s voice raised a couple of octaves in frustration: “Because the circumstances are different! When we were a couple, your spending time with Lan Yuyi was wrong, couldn’t I even say that? Now we are no longer a couple and you and Lan Yuyi are married. She’s carrying your child, who else are you supposed to be with?”

“Lan Yuyi and I are not husband and wife.”

Lu Lingche casually explained, grabbing Qiao Yin’s hand once again: “I am with you.”

“I don’t need you!”

In her frustration and haste, Qiao Yin noted that when she needed his company before, he didn’t provide it, yet now, when his company was unwelcome, he still insisted on being with her.

Amid the sounds of their bickering, the car pulled into a villa by the seaside.

Even though this villa was slightly smaller than Lu Lingche’s original one, it was quieter and situated near the beach, offering a more majestic view.
