My Evil System

Chapter 43 Lisa

There were two compartments in the Old Hag's house. One was the entertainment area, which was neat and tidy, with planks floors, brick walls, and a soft rocking chair over a cozy rug near the fireplace. There was a small kitchen beside it, separated by a bookshelf, and the two rooms upstairs were all well decorated too.

However, the second compartment, the basement, is where all the magic happened.

Eyeballs, body parts, and different herbs and organs were hanging on the ceiling — shelves with nothing but jars of preserved meat and all sorts of foul potions displayed on every rack. At the far end laid the Old Hag's cauldron and her altar.

Brewing potions, curses, and hex were her specialty and favorite pastime besides tricking travelers and players for her amusement.

Looking over at the Old Hag brewing potions from her cauldron while her three sons ate what remained of their 'dessert,' Lisa couldn't help but shake her head.

Unlike in the typical books where the witches or hags took the form of an ugly old lady with hunched back, broad, sharp nose, and pointy chin with warts all over their wrinkled face, the Old Hag was . . . far from it.

Very far.

The Old Hag was a tall lady with long silken black hair with strakes of neon green and grayish porcelain skin. Eyes and lips red like blood with a seductive smile, and a very bewitching body with a D cup size breasts wiggling as she walked. Her hips were wide, and her butt was full, enticing anyone to look when she swayed from item to item.

Lisa's eyelids twitched, and she looked at her own melons. She was a proud D cup size back in her world but in this world . . . D took in an entirely different form.

Her D became an A compared to the lady making potions on her cauldron. Foul and evil potions that could only be curses and hex.

Lisa didn't know if that was the Old Hag's true form or if she was simply hiding her hideous appearance. She always saw her in deferent faces and bodies, but the form the old hag had now was what she was accustomed to seeing when she was brewing her liquids.

For a woman who worked at a broker firm transported in this hellish world, Lisa didn't expect that she would get accustomed to killing and stealing so soon.

Watching the trolls eat their last piece of meat wasn't her idea of an afternoon siesta. But she learned to stomach it ever since she claimed her very first life.

In this world, mercy didn't exist.

It was either her or him.

If she wanted to live, then she had to do everything to survive. Her body, her face, her words, everything was a weapon that she could use.

Lucky for her, she found the Old Hag's lair when she was on the run when she stole a Grade A token from another player.

Since she didn't belong to any territory, she was planning on selling it. However, things weren't going her way.

The moment she announced that she had a Grade A Token with her, other players turned crazed and wanted to kill her for it. Not to mention the auction house. That establishment belonged to a territory that had some players' sworn allegiance, so they weren't exactly keen on auctioning stolen items such as a Grade A token.

Nowhere was safe.

Adding to her nightmare was the Apocalyptic Event that was bound to happen anytime soon. No one knew what it was or when it would strike, so every day was a terror to face.

She really thought that the Grade A Token would give her the riches she sought and finally live a life somewhere far, far away in peace.

But little did she know that the Tokens were like a curse.

And that was where she was now. She was lost and hungry in the Shadow Forest before the witch, and her three adopted sons found her.

But instead of killing her, the Old Hag made a business proposition instead.

Since the Old Hag was also top on the bounty list with her three sons, she was hiding from other players whose ATP had already reached the hundreds. Veterans, they called them — players who were transported into this world years ago and already established their footing.

And since the Old Hag wanted fresh meat for her 'ingredients' and to feed her three adopted sons, they made her a delivery girl, a task in delivering fresh meat into their lair since they couldn't risk getting caught outside the safety of the forest.

"Can I get my payment now?" Lisa waved her hand at the Old Hag.

"So impatient." The Old Hag pouted and placed a hand over her tilted hips. "Why don't you entertain my sons first?" she then went back unto mixing her potion in the cauldron while humming a tune.

Lisa frowned. Contrary to the Old Hag's beautiful appearance, her sons were. . . exactly like trolls in picture books. Horror Picture books.

Two and a half meters long with the size of three bulky men. Bulging stomach, broken nails, green skin filled with warts and puss. All sorts of flakes and skin diseases festering in their bald head and a gruesome smile that showcased their rotting jagged teeth.

Troll 1 waved at her with a bashful smile, and Lisa wanted to puke.

"Best I don't waste any more time here. You had your meat. I want my payment. Now."
