My Wife is My Life!

Chapter 351

Mom and Dad’s Daily Life (Part 4)

So as soon as he was born, he was fed with various supplements under the guidance of a doctor and became fat. Now after carefully adjusting his diet, he wasn’t as fat as before.

Zhouzhou seemed to understand Lu Lixing’s words. He leaned closer to the photo and glanced at it, then pointed to Ji Qingqing.

“This is Mom.”

Zhouzhou then pointed to Lu Lixing in the photo. He quickly looked back at him, seemed to recognize him as the same man in the photo, and pointed his finger at him.

Lu Lixing watched silently. After the little guy pointed out all the people in the photo, he lost interest in it and clamored to go sit at the table. Lu Lixing simply turned off the computer and put him on the desk.

Zhouzhou acted like a demon king as soon as he sat on the table. He grabbed what he liked on the desk and threw things on the ground if he didn’t like them.

But when he grabbed Lu Lixing’s pen, Lu Lixing grabbed his hand and slapped it from his palm. He looked at him seriously, “Don’t throw it, do you hear me?”

Not only did the child not feel pain, but he also smiled at Lu Lixing. Undaunted, he even boldly crawled toward Lu Lixing at the edge of the desk, spreading his hands for a hug.

Lu Lixing laughed helplessly and had to hug him with one hand. Due to Zhouzhou, he couldn’t continue working anymore. This little guy couldn’t leave his sight, so he had to keep his attention on him at all times.

Just as he was about to leave the study with Zhouzhou in his arms, Zhouzhou, who was lying in his arms, twisted his ass, stiffened all over, and suddenly cried out with grievances.

Lu Lixing stroked his back twice with his big hand and coaxed him, but suddenly, he felt something strange. Lu Lixing put him on the desk and took a look.

He peed.

The wet diaper made his little ass extremely uncomfortable.

Lu Lixing hadn’t dealt with this kind of thing before. He quickly carried him to the baby room, but the nanny was not there. Zhouzhou cried louder and louder. In desperation, Lu Lixing had to find a piece of diapers and put them on for him, wiping his ass clean with a wet tissue.

During this period, Zhouzhou was very uncomfortable. He was very noisy, kicking his calves wildly. Changing diapers seemed to be a punishment and his face became red with tears.

Lu Lixing’s eyebrows gradually furrowed and he hurriedly put on a brand-new diaper for him.

“Okay, okay, I’ve changed it, don’t cry anymore.” Lu Lixing softened his voice and tried coaxing him.

He then hugged the person in his arms and coaxed him over and over, wiping the tears from his face while saying, “I’ve never seen a child who loves to cry as much as you.”

Lu Lixing meant this from the depths of his heart. He had only seen a few children so far and they didn’t cry like this in front of him.

Zhouzhou seemed to understand him, as he stopped crying after Lu Lixing wiped away his tears. He obediently lay down in Lu Lixing’s arms as his father wiped his eyes.

“Sir, what… what’s the matter?” The nanny hurried over, feeling a little uneasy when she saw Lu Lixing.

Lu Lixing didn’t care about the nanny’s laziness and only said, “I just changed Zhouzhou’s diapers. Clean this up.”

After speaking, he carried Zhouzhou out of the room.

The child who had been noisy all morning finally started to feel tired. He slept soundly on Lu Lixing’s shoulder, his mouth half hanging open. His saliva poured over Lu Lixing’s shoulder.

Smelling the scent of milk from the baby, Lu Lixing stroked his back and smiled slightly.

Before twilight arrived, Ji Qingqing finally came back from the press conference. Thinking about the baby at home, she ran away from the crew earlier. As soon as she got home, she asked where the baby was. The nanny said that her husband was walking by the lake with the child in his arms.

When she went to the lake to take a look, Lu Lixing was holding Zhouzhou in one hand while teasing him with a small toy in another hand. Zhouzhou’s bell-like laughter could be heard from afar.

The sun slowly dipped below the horizon and its afterglow just happened to reflect on the lake.

Ji Qingqing stood on one side and watched them quietly for a while. Her impatient heart was suddenly calmed down by this scene.

Zhouzhou quickly found her, and his smiling face became more and more excited. He gently stretched out her hands toward Ji Qingqing, kicking his two short legs excitedly.

Ji Qingqing walked toward Lu Lixing.

Lu Lixing looked back. “You’re back?”

Ji Qingqing smiled softly and took Zhouzhou from Lu Lixing’s arms, kissed the little guy on the face, then turned her head to one side and passively accepted a gentle and lingering kiss from Lu Lixing.

“Well, I’m back.”

The warm glow of the setting sun bathed their bodies, casting long shadows that danced to the rhythm of the horizon.
