Chapter 13: Necromancer Vs Demons Decisive Battle - Part 2

Chapter 13: Necromancer Vs Demons Decisive Battle - Part 2

After the passage of some time, the disparity between the two sides became more apparent. The skeletons Ibro summoned were consumed on a faster rate now, faster than what he could adapt to.

Still, he didn't choose to summon his skeletons yet. He needed to make sure that fiend wouldn't try and escape at the critical moment.

Although his situation was getting from bad to worse, that fiend was so careful not to indulge himself deeply in that fight. That made Ibro more wary towards him, as Ibro planned not to let him escape here with his life.

'If you don't want to come to me, then I will come to you then.'

Ibro muttered to himself after the passage on two long hours of struggling and fighting, as he reached the limits of his patience. The numbers of these demons were increasing exponentially without pause. If this kept going on like this, he wouldn't be able to win this war at all.

So, he soared the sky as he began to use his spells:

'Nefrisca Santo Janigmay.'

'Nefrisca Santo Janigmay.'

'Nefrisca Santo Janigmay.'

.

.

.

'Nefrisca Santo Janigmay.'

'Nefrisca Santo Janigmay.'

'Nefrisca Santo Janigmay.'

'Sa Romy Dai.'

'Alfa Ta Shtoy.'

'Sa Romy Dai.'

'Alfa Ta Shtoy.'

Ibro completed his preparations within seconds, as he stood in the sky looking towards all the ongoing unfavorable fight with his dragons. He didn't delay as he took the stance of the whirlpool sword strike. The fiend on the distance smirked as he said:

"Predictable as ever, you don't have anything new to show to us? C'mon, kill all of them and I will send much more to replace. Let's see how long your energy will last."

Ibro heard him perfectly, but he wasn't concerned about his mockery. He already predicted the fiend to be knowledgeable with his abilities and fighting techniques.

Ibro didn't have any new technique to use, but he could shuffle his deck and change the orders of his cards, and viola.

'Be ready to detonate them as usual.'

''

Ibro said to his system as he didn't complete his strike as usual, instead he took out many runes, nearly fifty of them, and threw them all in the air. This came as a surprise to the fiend, and even to the system itself, but the system didn't slack and began to analyze the whole battlefield.

The system wasn't aware of Ibro's plan, and if he knew it he would call him insane. Ibro used the element of surprise and hit the runes fast with his two swords to make them fly instantly to different directions with unparalleled speed.

The system started to detonate one rune after another, but Ibro didn't stand still in his place, as he took the stance of his strike again and began the move part of it. When he reached the final stage, the strike stage, the whole sky world ushered in a majestic silence, a silence before the boom.

The runes exploded at the same moment of the launch of his strike. Everything happened so fast that even the fiend out there couldn't properly react, so the first wave of attacks caused massive losses to the demon armies.

"Good, you are now testing my patience, all of this is a futile attempt from you to delay the inevitable. You will lose, and you will die here today, foolish Ri"

The fiend was speaking arrogantly as usual, but he was startled and interrupted his words by the sudden appearance of Ibro in front of him. Although everything was so quiet, he could still hear his heartbeats accelerating as the sword of Ibro changed to form a huge dragon.

Ibro had used his teleportation ability to move from his place in the middle of the aerial battle, to appear here in front of the fiend. The fiend realized what happened, but it was too late for him as Ibro had already finished his dragon descent strike, his strongest PvP strike.

"You are delusional if you think you can kill me like this, Gretaro molata kero."

'Wow, this fiend is a treasure, I hate killing him. Why don't I have a mind control ability?' Ibro muttered with great surprise when the fiend used another spell and disappeared from his line of sight completely.

'You are too greedy!' the system commented briefly.

'Find his place, fast.'

''

Ibro wasn't worried that fiend to sneakily attack him from behind, but he was eager to know the effects of such a spell. Just as the system searched for that fiend, the whole world shone brightly with a blinding light. The second phase of his runes had already started.

'He is five miles away from the vortex,' the system suddenly said.

'Good, it's time for us to close the net,' Ibro said excitedly, as he had now a teleportation spell added to his arsenal.

'What if he tried to teleport to the vortex?' the system expressed its concerns.

'You keep an eye on him for me, and I will always be ready for him. Once he disappears, you are ready to teleport me instantly to his new location near the vortex. Let's see if he has the courage and the ability to withstand my dragon descent strike.'

'Why don't I start absorbing that vortex?' the system suggested.

'Who is the greedy one now? It's not the time yet. That fiend didn't use all his cards. Pushing him so far would turn him desperate, and I hate fighting desperate foes.'

''

'Start deploying my troops, I want this battlefield to be under my control before my ruins' effect vanishes. Keep my trump card to the end, and guide the skeletons in this mess.'

''

Ibro stood in his place amusing with the frustration looking over that fiend's face. The system started to move his skeleton armies from inside his world into this sky world. The new reinforcements came freshly to release the great pressure over the already existed skeletons.

The newly arrived skeletons were much higher in rank and fare experienced in fighting than the summoned skeletons by Ibro here, so their addition came to turn the tables over the demon army and make them suffer heavy losses.

Ibro stood beside the vortex but did nothing at all. He let it continue to pour new demons to be slaughtered, as he had great faith in his skeleton army to kill them all.

"You are good, better than I expected. However, if you think you already won, then you are equally naive. Let me show you the true might of the demon clan. Gredatos Maximos."
