Netheril’s Glory

Chapter 61: Cooperation.

After another whole morning of non-stop traveling, the figure of Dolazi City was finally faintly visible under the brilliance of Mira and Casa.

Different from the solitary style of Konola City, Dolez City gave people the feeling of majesty and magnificence. There were many towering buildings in the city. Although these soaring towers were equivalent to the construction of the medieval time, it was a symbol of prosperity in this world.

Sitting on the carriage that was slowing down, Punk looked at the large stretches of farmland. Some well-dressed soldiers were alertly guarding the spice-growing fields. As the tender season wasn't time for these spice to mature, there was a strong fragrance of spice herbs in the soft breeze.

Right now, Inside the carriage, the old butler and Lo Lan were sitting opposite Punk, with serious looks on their faces. When Punk told him that there was something important he wanted to discuss with them, the old butler quickly informed his young lady, and then both of them respectfully expressed their desire to listen. Although Lo Lan did not want the little maid to leave her side, she was a nobleman after all, and knew to distinguish the importance of different matters, especially when she heard that this conversation was about an opportunity for the Minohorn family. As a person who desperately wanted to revive the Minohorn family, Lo Lan immediately got serious!

Seeing that Lo Lan, the arrogant and willful little Loli became serious, Punk was a little surprised at his heart. He took a deep look at Lo Lan, who was sitting upright, and thought-

"This little girl is not as spoiled as I thought"!

Since it was time to talk about business, it must look like it. So Punk also put away his casual and contemptuous attitude; after all, it would be fitting to give his future partners some necessary respect.

"Miss Minohorn must also know that I am a mage who is devoted to studying the mysteries of magic."

Punk said in a pensive tone.

Hearing Punk, Lo Lan couldn't help but complain in her heart:

"There is such a big beauty as myself is sitting in front of you, and you actually didn't even look at me. That could no longer be called devoted but an obsession.

However, on the surface, Lo Lan dare not show anything, so she just nodded solemnly to show that she understood.

Punk then briefly introduced his situation.

"Study on magic undoubtedly requires financial support, and alchemy potions are obviously a good source of funds. I, the official mage Punk Saian, have a good understanding of the field of alchemy potions, but as I want to study magic seriously, I don't have the time or energy to waste in mundane business, so... I need a business partner to sell alchemy potions on my behalf."

Hearing this, the old butler was overjoyed. He didn't even completely understand what Punk meant. But he still quickly answered Punk before Lo Lan could say anything.

"The Minohorn family has a long history of business, and we can also guarantee to fulfill all of lord Punk's requirements. If Lord is willing to give the Minohorn family a chance, I believe we will not let down Lord's expectation."

But Punk ignored the butler's flattering words. He turned his head and looked at Lo Lan, who was still silent. The old butler, who was stunned for a moment, also realized that he became too anxious, but he really hoped to reach a cooperation with Punk. So he also looked anxiously at his young lady, who was now a little flustered.

Lo Lan was stunned by the pies that fell from the sky at first. One must know that alchemy potions were a scarce resource that was always in short supply, so it was an absolute profiteering industry. Some adventurers became ruined entirely to buy a single life-saving bottle of potion. And of course, the quality and quantity of potions provided by an official-level mage would be naturally more superb. There was no official-level "Mage" in Dolez City now, so it was impossible for the casual potion merchants to compete with them.

Lo Lan could almost see the grand occasion when the Minohorn family became a well-established family in Dolez City!

But the first lesson Lo Lan learned while receiving the rigorous noble education was not to be blinded by benefits. She immediately realized that her partner was an official mage who she could never resist, and she could also guess from this handsome young man's behavior that he obviously not of the good camps, which meant... the Minohorn family might just become an empty shelf controlled by others in the future.

Lo Lan moved her bright eyes slightly, trying to get a clue from the cold face of Punk which was half-shrouded in the shadow of the hood, but the expressionless Punk from the beginning to the present made her realize that no matter how long she looked, she wouldn't be able to see through the other person's thoughts.

Punk, of course, noticed Lo Lan's small actions. He also knew that at this moment, interests and vigilance were at war with each other in the heart of this little girl.

But he didn't have much patience, so he decided to add a little "bargaining chip" to reinforce the side of the interests!

He casually picked up the small teacup and took a sip.

"Regarding profit sharing......I can give you 30%"!

A sentence that had very little significance to him, but it was no less than a thunderbolt for Lo Lan, and the old butler almost spat out.

This could be said to be an incredibly generous way of sharing profit. Punk believed that if this little girl really wanted to rejuvenate the Minohorn family, she would never refuse such a generous offer!

Sure enough, after Lo Lan heard this incredible number, her pink fists were tightly clenched.

"If I accept this offer of cooperation... "

Lo Lan gritted her teeth, but she was also a little delighted in her heart.

"I will definitely see the revival of the Minohorn family within my lifetime!"

Thinking of her Grandpa's heartache in his later years because of the decline of Minohorns, and her father's repeatedly instructing, in his deathbed, to work hard for the rejuvenation of the Minohorn family............

Lo Lan stood up and bowed to Punk sincerely..

"Thank you very much for your generosity. The Minohorn family will always be your most loyal partner."

The old butler also trembled with excitement. He also got up from his seat shaking, and asked Punk in a trembling voice:

"Can the Minohorn family be qualified to publicize your reputation?"

Hearing these words, Punk raised his right eyebrow slightly. He looked deeply at the old butler's bark-like face, and he found this a little funny; this old man had the courage to play word games in front of an official-level mage just because they became cooperating partners.

"Use my name to promote your reputation? Isn't he just looking for free publicity?"

With the master and butler standing awkwardly in place, Punk thought for a while, if they didn't have any backing, and they started to sell a large number of high-quality alchemy potions......with a little bit of carelessness, those greedy nobles would wipe them out. And it would be really troublesome if he had to find another business partner again, so it would be much better to simply let them use his name; in that case, no one in Dolazi City would have the courage to provoke an official-level mage, so there would be no need to drag himself through unnecessary troubles in the future.

Thinking of this, Punk secretly decided to allow the little girl Lo Lan to be his spokesperson, but...

"These declining aristocrats, who once had a glorious history, should have some good things. For example, didn't that fox Kane's declining rural family, that couldn't afford a horse, had a martial arts manual handed down for generations?”

An azure blue magical brilliance in Punk's eyes slowly circulated............

"And also…………"

"If I don't squeeze out the last bit of oil from the Minohorn family, how can I properly become a mage who pursues only interests?"
