Chapter 72: I Will Rate You.

Chapter 72: I Will Rate You.

“We’ve been exposed! Chapapa!” Fukurou’s heart raced. In an instant, as the unexpected guest revealed, he smoothly executed his Moonwalk technique, closing the distance to Tashigi and nullifying any surprise actions she might take. His lightning-quick response caught her off guard. She attempted to reach for her sword at her waist, but the circumstances were far from ideal for a confrontation. She had been sound asleep, wearing her pajama. “Damn it!” She exclaimed with frustration. “This won’t stop me! I’ll catch you all, even without weapons!” With a swift motion, she raised her leg and kicked Fukurou while shouting at Saitama, trying to wake him up. “Saitama-san… Wake up!” Fukurou didn’t evade her attack but braced for impact with his right arm, causing both of them to stagger back from the force of the blow. “Ouch! He’s tough!” Tashigi said, her leg hurting from the kick. Meanwhile, Fukurou seemed relatively unfazed. ‘Te-Awase.’ He interlocked his hands and slowly raised his head, projecting confidence. “If a regular soldier with a weapon is a 10, your ‘Doriki Power’ is about 710, chapapa… You don’t have a chance!” She was puzzled. “Doriki Power? Hold on!” Then, a contemplative expression washed over her face, as if a distant memory resurfaced. “Who are you guys? World Government?” She inquired. “They know us, chapapa,” Fukurou’s words were for Lucci. Then, he turned back to Tashigi and said, “How did you know we’re CP9?” “CP9?!” Tashigi sounded surprised. In a swift motion, Fukurou zipped his mouth shut, visibly alarmed by his unintended revelation. “Idiot,” Lucci muttered under his breath. Only then did Tashigi’s realization hit her like a ton of bricks. “Rokushiki… Doriki… So Saitama was right! You work for the World Government! You’re here to…” She paused in shock as a dreadful conclusion washed over her. “You’re… here to… KILL SAITAMA!” Her voice resonated with anger, filling the room. The commotion disturbed Saitama’s peaceful slumber. “Oh! Genos, just give me five more minutes!” His voice sent an eerie chill down Lucci’s spine. Reluctantly, Fukurou unzipped his mouth, a mask of indifference on his face. “Chapapa… even if you know, what’s the big deal? This mission comes directly from the Five Elders, and that baldy’s fate is sealed…” -SLAPPP- Without warning, Lucci delivered a swift slap to Fukurou. Maintaining his stern demeanor, he grumbled, “What’s the point of that damn zipper on your mouth? You’ve carelessly exposed everything, you fool!” He winced and broke into a sweat, nursing his injured finger as he squatted on the ground. “Ouch, ouch, ouch…” Scholar, who had been observing the unfolding chaos with a mixture of madness and anger, stood in disbelief. “What the heck is going on with our organization? Are these two really CP9 agents? They’re supposed to be undercover pros! This is nuts!” His temper flared even more. “This is ridiculous! Is this how they handle a damn serious situation? The first guy spills the beans without any pressure, and the so-called strongest one acts like a total clown! I could burst out laughing!…” He shook his head. “No, I’ve had enough of this nonsense! Time for the backup plan!” In that moment, he turned his attention to Kalifa, who looked utterly bewildered, like an innocent bystander caught up in the chaos. He reached behind her and retrieved a length of rope, his smirk now more sinister than sly. Kalifa retreated cautiously, exclaiming, “Sir! What… What are you doing!? This is… This is harassment! Seriously, SIR! AHH!” —————————— Inside the warship. “Chapapa… You know too much now! I can’t let you live,” Fukurou declared, his voice trembling with a mix of anxiety and resolve. He shot a quick, worried glance at Lucci and added, “What are you waiting for? End the mission!” With a potent blend of anger and embarrassment, Fukurou activated his Moonwalk technique and glided towards Tashigi. “Do whatever you want; nothing will stop me… You’re a dead woman! Chapapa…” His movements were a blur of speed. “Saitama-san! Wake up, please! You’re in grave danger! SAITAMAAAAA!” Tashigi desperately implored, her voice shaking as she tried to rouse him. Saitama, still half-asleep, mumbled, “Come on, Genos! Just give me five more minutes!” “I’m not Genos! Wake up, sir! There’s no Genos here! They’re here to kill you! Wake up!” Tashigi continued yelling, her voice filled with urgency. The noise finally jolted Saitama awake. “What’s all this noise about? Why is everyone making such a fuss?” He looked around, noticing three uninvited guests in his cabin. “Hey! What’s happening? Why are you guys here? It’s not my birthday, is it?” He noticed Tashigi locked in combat with a stranger and calmly asked, “Ah? Are you okay, Tashigi?” “Y.. Yes… They’re here to kill you, sir!” She replied with urgency as she blocked Fukurou’s attacks. “Oh no! This is not good!” Fukurou’s heart skipped a beat. “Don’t worry!” Lucci suddenly positioned himself between Saitama and Fukurou, blocking his view, and said firmly, “I’ll handle him! You focus on the woman! The mission is compromised; we need to finish it quickly.” “Huh!” Saitama was still trying to make sense of the chaotic scene unfolding in his room. Meanwhile, Fukurou couldn’t shake his worry. “But he’s a Vice Admiral! Are you sure about this?” “Heh… I’ve been waiting for an opportunity like this for a while now…” Saying those words, Lucci gradually transformed into a hulking leopard-human. “I’ve often wondered if I could take down a high-ranking marine. Now, I have the opportunity… He may be just a Vice Admiral, but that gives me the chance to unleash my full power. Lucky me! Bringing him down should be easy.” Saitama, looking somewhat groggy, observed the transformation and casually commented, “Oh… Is this some kind of magic trick? You turned into a cat!” “A what?!” Lucci’s irritation flared. “I’ll wipe that grin off your face!” he growled, his muscles tensing as he advanced swiftly toward Saitama! —————————— “With Lucci having my back, there’s no need to worry!” Fukurou exclaimed confidently. He stayed focused on his fight with Tashigi, stating in a more casual tone, “Your Doriki Power is at 710, while mine’s at a decent 800. You’re definitely the underdog here, Chapapa…” Tashigi’s kicking skills weren’t up to par, and Fukurou managed to deflect her attacks effortlessly, without even needing to use the Tekkai technique. After each hit, he simply mentioned the Doriki level in a down-to-earth manner. -Rukushiki Game- “A simple jab… 20 !” “A spinning roundhouse kick… 35!” “Followed by a behind-the-back shoulder throw…27!” “…” Just as Fukurou had mentioned, each of Tashigi’s attacks was carefully evaluated using the ‘Rukushiki Game: Comparison’ technique. Although the perfect score was 100, her attacks consistently tallied around 30 points. Of course, this wasn’t her true strength, and Fukurou surely knew that. However, he underestimated her, aiming to dent her confidence strategically and set the stage for a decisive win. After all, 710 or 800 are close numbers, and anything is possible, so he wanted to ensure his victory. The fight between them was intense, and it had drained all of Tashigi’s energy. She could barely stand on her feet. Fukurou was ready to deliver one last attack to finish her. Just then, a sudden tap on his shoulder distracted him. Turning around, he found himself face to face with a bald-headed man sporting a smirk. “Ah!” Fukurou was momentarily startled, his eyes wide with disbelief. He rubbed his eyes and checked again to confirm if this was real. Then, he stepped back in shock, “Cha… Chapa? Wait! Weren’t you fighting Lucci? Where is he?” “Oh, you mean that guy?” Saitama casually pointed towards a dim corner of the room, where a leopard-man lay beaten and bruised. “A grown man dressed as a cat! Even cosplayers wouldn’t go that far.” “Lu… Lucci!! This can’t be real… It must be some sort of illusion! Our most formidable agent… vanquished in less than a minute!? Does this mean that all Marine officers possess such immense power!? No! This man… This creature!” Fear sent shivers down his legs. “This can’t be real,” He repeatedly exclaimed in disbelief, then shouted, “You must have used some sneaky trick to beat him!” He stepped back cautiously, keeping his guard up, and provocatively challenged Saitama, “Alright, let’s see what you’ve got! I’ll take you down! I bet your strength score is pitiful…” -Pfft!!!!- But before he could finish his taunt, Saitama effortlessly silenced him with a single punch. Squatting down, he adopted a curious expression as he asked, “So… What’s my score then?” “In… Incalculable…” —————————————————————— Hey everyone, I hope you all had a great time reading this chapter!
