Picking Up Beautiful Girls In The Post-Apocalyptic World!

Chapter 204

His name is Prince Gregory. The third prince of the Magicus Kingdom and the third in line to the throne. His story is long and boring, and he hates trying to remember it. Gregory was born with magic, just like everyone else in his kingdom. There are five attributes that anyone can possess, Earth, Fire, Air, water, and light. These five attributes have been recurrent among the people of the kingdom.

There is usually a coming of age ceremony when children turn ten years old. They are given a crystal ball and then their magic attribute is determined by what color the ball was. This was where things became unbearably different for Gregory because for some reason his ball turn blacker than night.

It was a new magic attribute, something that people have never heard of before. Dark magic.

The looks in the eyes of the people changed immediately. Words like ‘Monster’ and ‘Demon Spawn’ floated around the room.

“That Gregory, how can he have dark magic? Both his parents have only light magic. Is he an illegitimate child?”

“I don’t think I want my children around him. No one has dark magic in the kingdom. Maybe he is the devil reincarnated”

They say ignorance is bliss and that was why Gregory decided to simply ignore most of what they said. His family wouldn’t treat him like that. They loved him. At least that was what he thought. His father kept an eye on Gregory. He didn’t think his son was evil, but he couldn’t be too sure.

Gregory’s brothers and sister decided that from that moment on they would no longer hang out with the third prince. Children could be cruel unknowingly, so they didn’t know how much it hurt whenever they would exclude Gregory from their games and even from hanging out around the castle. They ignored him and made him feel excluded from the family.

Before long, Gregory became angry and that was when he did something that he really shouldn’t have done. The magic in this kingdom relied on emotions to work properly. The stronger the emotions behind your casting the stronger your magic will be. So when Gregory snapped one day and shouted at his siblings about what they were doing, his magic reacted intensely! Everything in the room was covered in shadows and the three siblings suddenly felt like they were being suffocated! There was no light and no air, nothing from the real world existed in this world of shadows!

Gregory grew frightened as he looked around the world of shadows! He didn’t even know how he did this! His siblings were dying and he didn’t know how he could stop it!

Luckily for the siblings, their father arrived before long and he used his light magic to negate the shadows. He was able to stop Gregory’s magic, but that was the last straw he needed. So at the tender age of ten, Gregory became a prisoner at the top of the castle.

Day after Day, month after month, year after year. Gregory stayed at the top of the castle like an unwanted entity that was not even important enough for people to visit. He received three meals a day from a servant as well as a book a week to keep his mind from going senile. But that sort of thing isn’t enough to keep someone sane. How can this kind of solitude be cured by one book? He was a ten-year-old boy and all he could think of at that moment was that he was a demon.

And so that was how the years went. The darkness in the prison made Gregory’s magic stronger, but no matter how he tried he could never break down the walls of the prison. It was fortified with some of the strongest earth magic and he has no chance of escaping it.

When the screen appeared in front of his vision, Gregory was confused. He didn’t know what the countdown was for. He has spent five years alone inside this room and this was the first time he was seeing light in front of him.

Gregory went on the first trip to the future and he was shocked to see how the kingdom became. It was a wasteland that he had only seen in books before. The castle was empty and there were dead bodies everywhere. Some sort of monster tried to attack him when he was moving around, but he managed to use his dark magic to get rid of it easily. When he was coming here he was told that he is meant to save the world, but the only thing on his mind at that moment was finding his family. Gregory didn’t know what he would do to them when he found them, but he just needed to see their faces. He wanted to look them in the eye and see what kind of people they were now. Did they regret what they do to him?

He walked through the halls of the castle and his anger became more intense every time he would see a smiling portrait of his parents or one of his siblings on the wall. They abandoned him in a room at the top of the castle and they were here smiling like a happy family!?

But there was one portrait that made him stop and stare in shock.

It was his older brother and he was standing behind a chair where a pregnant girl was sitting. This girl was Duchess Willow, someone he remembered playing with. He told her that he would get married to her, and she even promised that she would wait for him. Guess she didn’t bother waiting anymore.

Gregory screamed and slammed his hand on the wall! They took everything from him! His family! Hie life! Even the girl he loved!? He refuses to accept this! He refuses to accept that this is the future he will have! No matter what happens, Gregory will not sit back and allow his family to get away with this!

And so he had a new outlook on life. Gregory began to train his body and his magic. There was no one left alive in the palace so Gregory was able to use it to his heart’s content. He stayed there for six months on that first jump, gaining new skills on his system and training them till he was satisfied. The time his system sent him back was actually an accident. Gregory just figured out that one of the monsters looked a lot like a servant he once had when he was little, there were burns along the side of the monsters face and this is usually a sign of Mana poisoning.

He then managed to find out that it was an excess amount of mana in the air that poisoned the masses. Once he found this out his system brought him back to the past after twenty-four hours. Gregory was pissed, but he didn’t care. He wasn’t even going to try and stop the mana poisoning from happening. Once he came back he realized that his current body was pathetically weak. He had all these skills, but he didn’t have any muscle mass to back them up, so he began to train.

Name – Gregory Magicus

Level – 20

Strength – 70

Stamina – 54

Agility – 45

Intelligence – 60

Free Points – 5

Skills – [Dark Shadow – 160] [Dark Sword – 50] [BloodLust – 150] [AntiMagic Body – 110] [Destructive Blast – 90] [Poisonous Blood – 105] [Grim Reaper – 150] [Eyes of Horos – 100] [Analyse – 90] [Flight – 160] [Danger Sense – 70]

This was how his system looked after he trained it for that one year. He figured out that his skills couldn’t improve when he was in the past but his attributes improved when he trained them. He didn’t know how much stronger he was than a regular human, but he knew that those monsters with mana poisoning were stronger than humans and he was stronger than those monsters.

It was just another day for him in prison when it happened. He was training his body while waiting for the perfect opportunity to strike. No matter how strong he became he still couldn’t break down the gate because it was ancient magic that was put here by hundreds of magicians over the years, so he just waited for the perfect time.

And that was why he was shocked when he felt his skill [Danger Sense] activate once Han and the other girls arrived in this world. He immediately knew that whatever was out there was just like him and also far stronger. Was this what he had been waiting for all this time? Would they be here for any reason other than to look for him? He activated his system and turned on all his dark powers while targeting the person with the highest threat level.

Once Han felt the sudden spike in power and looked through the wall of that prison and saw the shadows swirling about he immediately knew that it was something like a summons and that was why he laughed. This little boy was summoning him? Hilarious!

Han decided to humor the boy and then he went to the room. Taking the door down was so easy and Gregory immediately knew that this man was not someone he would fight and survive against. This man took down the door that has been holding Gregory prisoner for six years in just a second!

Gregory thought they would not allow him to leave the room and he was already prepared to fight to at least make his way out, but Han gave him a free path to move out

“… What do you need?”

When Han asked this Gregory was to shocked to answer for a moment. It was like a trap, why would this man just allow him so whatever he wanted? But he didn’t hesitate once he got himself back. He would deal with the consequences later, for now, he knew what he had to do.

“I need you to stay out of my way”

Gregory was shocked by the amount of understanding he could see in Han’s eyes. Why was he just allowing him to go like that? Gregory turned and began walking out of the prison. If he had a chance like this then he would take it. It was time for him to visit his dear family!
