Chapter 36: 1st Year Practical Sparring Part 1

Chapter 36: 1st Year Practical Sparring Part 1

Usually, the students of Class C would talk to each other while seated in their assigned places, but today the whole class seemed more noisy.

George entered the class, he could see every student inside stretching their hands and running across the class halls, trying to stretch every ligament in their body.

He, unlike everyone, had a book about wrestling in his hand while walking up to his seat.

Jame, however, was not studying, nor was he stretching. And as usual, he was writing on his note with words that looked like gibberish.

As George sat right beside Jame and turned to his back, he could see that the seat where Akshar sat was empty.

He smiled, 'Well, at least I don't have to deal with that prick today.'

As soon as he continued reading the book in a good mood, he could hear the whole class silent. George took his attention away from the book and could see everyone staring at the door.

And as his eyes followed everybody else, he closed his eyes, sighing, 'No… Not today…'

"The crap of the class…" Was what everyone in the class referred to Akshar.

Class C had received a lot of criticism for what the barbarian did during the speech; never in the history of the academy has something like this ever happened, and somehow, the barbarian managed to set a record that only he might repeat.

"He probably got dropped on the head as an infant…" Another student joked before he felt his collar being pulled with great force.

And in front of him, Akshar stood, his face still filled with bruises from the wrench attack, "Say that… to my FACE!" He screamed, his saliva rained upon the poor student.

He quickly threw the kid to the ground with his one hand before walking up the stairs and reaching the level where George was sitting.

He raised his hands, pointing at George while slowly nearing him.

As Akshar arrived at where Jame was sitting, George got up from his seat, looking Akshar in his eyes, "Trust me, you don't want to do this, I beat you up once, you were then humiliated, don't make me humiliate you twice. You have ruined ninety nine percent of your reputation and if you want to keep the rest of the one percent, I suggest you sit down."

Akshar closed his distance, whispered, "You beat me with weapons, but I will beat you, with my HAND."

George nearly shivered, but managed to stop it by holding on to his hands.

"All righty, is everyone ready yet?" The Instructor entered the class.

Upon seeing the nods from the students, he continued, "You will be choosing three person that you will sparring against, it's one by one of course-"

"I will fight this RAT!" Akshar shouted, cutting off the Instructor while pointing to George.

"Hey, retard, I know that you are on the spectrum, but can you let me finish?" The Instructor said, annoyed by the fact that the class he was teaching was not only one that had the worst student but would forever be remembered as the class that tried attacking the Wizard of Oz.

The Instructor tried composing himself but sighed as he forgot what he was going to say, "Dang it… Just follow me…" He ordered while walking out of the class.

As they walked in a line, George could feel the stare right behind his back, and he didn't have to look back to know who had been staring at him; Akshar, like a predator eyeing their victim, had been staring at him for a very long time.

The Instructor stopped in front of a large wooden door with a name etched on it, "Academy Martial Hall".

"Class-A and Class-B are done with their sparring session, so I expect everyone of you to keep this place clean, or else." The Instructor opened the door, introducing Class C to the Martial Hall.

The entire martial hall was made out of wood, and from George's past experience, it looked like mahogany.

"Leave your shoes outside, only come into the hall with your bare foot, and if any one of you has smelly feet, I suggest that you go back to your dorm and wash it till." He said before entering the hall.

As the students entered the hall, their first reaction was a shocked look on their faces while staring at the floor.

George did the same.

The floor, although it looked like wood, was soft as a mat, but as he bent down to touch the ground, he could feel as if it was wood; the texture and how it looked was exactly like any other wood.

"The academy bought a special wood from the East, I will repeat one more time, keep this place clean, because if you don't, not even the forces of heaven could save you from the headmasters, that, I can most certainly promise you." He repeated this, making sure that every student knew that no matter what they did, they could never dirty this place.

Alright, choose your first opponent." The Instructor continued before the students quickly paired up with each other.

Most of the weaker students paired up with each other, as they knew that they could afford to even face the stronger students.

"YOU!" Akshar shouted as he pointed at George. "I FIGHT YOU NOW!"

George shook his head, "It's sparring, okay? And no, I am not going to fight you now."

"What are you a coward?" Akshar asked, which attracted the attention of the other students.

George put on a smile, "Coward? No no… You are misunderstanding something, I mean I am not going to fight you now, I will spar you as the third opponent."

Akshar nodded before walking to one of the students who had no choice but to pair up with him.

George, meanwhile, looked around before seeing Jame standing alone, with his notebook in one hand and a pen in the other, "Dude, do you ever part with that notebook?"

Jame shook his head, "One day, I will be very rich because of this."

"Yeah, whatever, look here is the deal, you have no other weak students for you to spar with, so I will spar you, and you will lose with little to no pain, how about it?"
