Chapter 639:

"Let's go and meet the others I ma sure they would be happy to see that you are back on Earth" Kenichi said as they decided to enjoy the dinner.

For the next few days Thor and Jane stayed together and didn't even left each other for a second as if they were conjoined.

It was only after a week that the two left each others sides after which Kenichi took Thor to meet with the others just so all of them could have a drink together.

After meeting with the rest of the Avengers Kenichi started his training. Since he became a Martial Sage he needs to control his strength moreover he also needs to learn to control Aether and use it's power as much as he can.

So for the next few months other then spending some time with his girlfriends, the rest of his time was focused on his training it wasn't until he got a message from Stark that he has successfully created a Vibranium armour that Kenichi decided to stop and check how strong Tony's armour really is.

The Next day, Kenichi met with Tony who showed infront of him while wearing the Vibranium armour that was in all black colour.

"That's some cool armour you got there Stark" Kenichi said

"Thanks, I still haven't coloured it yet as it's hard to do so but give me some time and I will definitely find a way to do so." Stark said with a smirk

"I want you to be the judge" Tony said

"Huh!" Kenichi exclaimed

Just when Kenichi was going to ask what it was about lightning and thunder rang in the Sky and Thor landed in front of them.

"Hahahaha... Let's see how good your weapon is Stark" Thor said with a smile.

"Fuck these bastards want me to watch the show" Kenichi said as he watched the duo rush at each other.

Not wanting to see their fight Kenichi left the two as he didn't think Thor could break the Vibranium but neither could Tony really hurt the current Thor.

While Kenichi was getting disappointed of not getting a fight, Natasha and Captain America just came back from a mission which didn't sit right with Steve, so after arguing with Fury and getting shown the 3 Hellicarriers for the project Insight, Steve left the SHIELD Headquarters.

He went to the Smithsonian to hear them talk about his friends then went to meet Peggy Carter who was already very sick and was permanently admitted into the bed.

" You should be proud of yourself, Peggy." Steve said as he looks at Peggy's family photos by her bedside table showing her with her children.

"Mm. I have lived a life. My only regret is that you didn't get to live yours." Peggy replied hearing which Steve looked a little sad

"What is it?" Peggy asked

"For as long as I can remember I just wanted to do what was right. I guess I'm not quite sure what that is anymore. And I thought I could throw myself back in and follow orders, serve. It's just not the same." Steve stated

Peggy chuckles and says "You're always so dramatic. Look, you saved the world. We rather...mucked it up."

" You didn't. Knowing that you helped found SHIELD is half the reason I stayed." Steve argued back

Peggy takes Steve's hand "Hey. The world has changed and none of us can go back. All we can do is our best, and sometimes the best that we can do is to start over."

Fury is alone in his office; to his voice controlled computer he commanded "Secure office."

All the windows are blackened, Fury takes out the flash drive Natasha had downloaded all the files from the the Lemurian Star and places it in his computer.

" Open Lemurian Star's satellite launch file." Fury said

"Access denied." came the reply from the SHIELD computer

"Run decryption." Fury commanded but the reply from the SHIELD computer was "Decryption failed."

"Director override, Fury, Nicholas J." Fury said

" Override denied. All files sealed." SHIELD computer shows

" On whose authority?" Fury asked a little confused as he has the highest authority in SHIELD but he wasn't expecting this reply from the which made him a little worried SHIELD computer "Fury, Nicholas J."

Fury enters elevator and commands to take him to the meeting conference where he could meet the World Security Council.

Alexander Pierce is holding a virtual meeting with the World Security Council.

" If Nick Fury thinks he can get his costumed thugs and STRIKE commandos to mop-up his mess, he's sadly mistaken. This failure is unacceptable." Councilman Rockwell said

"Well, considering this attack took place one mile from my country's sovereign waters, it's a bit more then that. I move for immediate hearing." Councilman Sing added

"We don't need hearings, we need action. It's this Council's duty to oversee SHIELD." Councilwoman Hawley countered

"A breach like this raises serious questions." Councilman Yen spoke

"Like how the hell did a French pirate manage to hijack a covert SHIELD vessel in broad daylight?" Councilman Rockwell asked

" For the record, councilman, he's Algerian. I can draw a map if it'll help." Alexander Pierce stated

" I appreciate your wit, Secretary Pierce. But this Council take things like international piracy fairly seriously." Councilman Rockwell stated not caring about Peirce's jab

" Really? I don't. I don't care about one boat, I care about the fleet. If this Council is going to fall a rancor every time someone pushes us on the playing field, maybe we need someone to oversee us." Alexander Pierce stated

"Mr. Secretary, nobody is suggesting..." before Councilman Yen could complete his speech they are interrupted by Pierce's assistant walking in and whispering something to Pierce.

Then Pierce turned towards the council and said "Excuse me."

"More trouble, Mr. Secretary?" Councilman Rockwell asked

" It depends on your definition." Alexander Pierce replied and the meeting ends as Pierce leaves.

"I work forty floors away and it takes a hijacking for you to visit?" Alexander Pierce asked

"A nuclear war would do it too." Nick Fury replied they shake hands; referring to Pierce's meeting with the World Security Council Fury asked "Busy in there?"

"Nothing some earmarks can't fix." Alexander Pierce replied

" I'm, uh...here to ask a favor. I want you to call for a vote. Project insight has to be delayed." Nick Fury said

"Nick, that's not a favor, that's a subcommittee hearing. A long one." Alexander Pierce replied

"It could be nothing, probably is nothing. I just need time to make sure it's nothing." Nick Fury stated

"What if it's something?" Alexander Pierce asked

" Then we'll both be damn glad those Helicarriers aren't in the air." Nick Fury replied

Pierce hesitates a moment before replying

" Fine. But you gotta get Iron Man to stop by my niece's birthday party."

Nick shakes his hand "Thank you, sir."

" And not just a flyby, he's got to mingle."
