Returning From The Magic World

Chapter 32 Harpy Eagles

In order for humans to be called masterpieces, they must be unique, different from other humans, perhaps able to do things that are impossible for humans to do or even further, have powers that humans should not have.

Arthur had a few guesses, but he could only confirm them after looking at them.

Arriving at the bird area, he observed one by one the birds in each cage.

Two eagles with cold eyes and gray feathers caught his attention because of their large size. They were in a cage, looking like a couple. Their bodies may be over a meter long while their claws are the same length as human fingers.

For winged creatures of that size, the impression they gave off practically beat that of a tiger.

"They are harpy eagles." Amanda was amazed.

She couldn't help but stare at Arthur, as if to ask if he could tame the two eagles.

Arthur didn't say anything right away, he approached their cage

It was surrounded by around ten people, each of them staring with an expression of wanting to possess them.

"Amanda, are you interested in these eagles?" Erick who came over asked. Occasionally he glanced at Arthur. He was obviously still curious about whether he could actually tame wild beasts. Although it was obvious, he was still unsure, wanting to take another look. According to him, there might be a problem with the tigers.

In fact, many thought the same way because so far, all Arthur had done was touch the heads of the tigers.

"What do you think, Arthur?" Amanda finally asked Arthur directly.

The latter replied, "that's great."

Hearing the answer, Amanda immediately asked Erick. "So how much do they cost?"

"Eagle is cheaper, don't worry, 500K each, cheaper than your car," Erick replied.

The factor that causes them to be cheaper is naturally because their population is still more. It's just a coincidence that there are only two here.

Amanda didn't show an expression like she wanted to negotiate. She took out her cell phone again, sent 1 million to Erick's account.

The latter smiled contentedly. This business may be very profitable but that doesn't mean it's easy to sell the wild animals.

Several people who saw how Amanda made purchases showed admiration. Maybe that was also one of what she wanted, to show people that her family had a lot of money. This is naturally good for their business.

After receiving the money, Erick looked directly at Arthur, apparently waiting for him to act.

On the other hand, Arthur said to Amanda. "I'll take the male and you the female."

Amanda nodded in agreement, but perhaps because the two eagles were a pair she blushed slightly at the division. This gave the impression that the relationship between the two eagles would rub off on them.

Erick probably guessed her thoughts from her expression, but this time he managed to keep his emotions in check a little better.

Arthur stepped closer to the cage until he was right in front of it.

The two harpy eagles narrowed their eyes as they watched him. The male even pushed its beak forward a little, ready to attack if Arthur made a dangerous move on them.

This time Arthur didn't want to wait long, so he made a move that looked like he wanted to attack.

Whoosh! Whoosh!

The two eagles were completely wild, they simultaneously lunged towards his hand. With their beaks so large, it's practically not difficult to cut the hand.

However, while they were fast, he was quicker. With ease, he hit the eagles' heads one by one, making their heads droop.

After that, their gazes on him immediately changed.

"Is it working?" People wonder.

"Apparently so," answered another.

"What the heck is that trick he's using, this is a bit too preposterous."

"Or is there a certain spot on each animal's head, if touched they will instantly become tame?"

"Nonsense, how could there be such a thing and no one knows."

As for Roy, he didn't comment at all, only observing Arthur's movements in detail.

Even though he knew Arthur was a unique human, he still didn't understand at all how wild beasts were tamed so easily.

"Wkwk!"

The eagles let out a sound, which sounded like they were saluting.

"They've tamed?" Amanda approached curiously.

"You can pet them," Arthur answered.

Of course, Amanda was scared. She looked like she was wondering what if they suddenly attacked her.

Even so, she still asked, "will it be alright?"

"I'm here, what could happen?" His expression as he said that was so convincing, that even the other women felt like they believed his words. They had never felt so sure of their own husbands.

Amanda's worries lessened a bit, and she took another step while saying, "You have to take responsibility if something happens to me."

Right after saying that, she finally arrived in front of the cage and at the same time, Arthur suddenly stretched one of his arms around her slender waist.

"You?" She froze, same for Erick.

"I don't want to take responsibility, so I will prevent it before it happens, if they attack, I will pull you," said Arthur, explaining very calmly. Everyone who saw him speak felt like he had no bad intentions at all.

As the object, Amanda didn't know whether to laugh or cry.

"However," she suddenly said with a faint smile. "I have to admit that this gives me a sense of security."

"Hehe, Lady, with him, you will become the most protected woman." Roy who was always silent finally spoke. The goal is clear to curry favor with Arthur.

Of course, this dumbfounded Erick because Roy was his subordinate and he should have helped him, why would he suddenly help Arthur who was his rival?

Unfortunately speaking now would make him look petty, so he chose to hold back his anger.

As for Amanda, she glanced at Roy, looking embarrassed. She didn't know why this man was helping Arthur either.

"Wkwk!"

Suddenly the female eagle voiced to him. It was a soft sounding voice and its expression was like it wanted to be touched by her. It was more reassuring as it walked closer to her.
