Chapter 67 Lunch
Meanwhile, Rose watches over Arthur and Amanda's departure. Seeing Amanda's aggressive attitude, she showed a smile. Of course, she wasn't worried because she had confidence in her own abilities.
She is beautiful, charming and sexy. Maybe all people know about her is her fighting skills, but she has so much more to offer or she would not have been able to become a member of Mensa International, something Amanda could not have accomplished.
She had even forgotten how many times she had been recruited by major international institutions. It's just that she prefers a free life like a lion on the savanna.
While Arthur was away, he secretly sent his spiritual birds to each of the mercenaries without them noticing. This he did so that if they tried to commit treason, they would not hesitate to do so. If not, they will be scared first. Although he thought this group was very loyal to Hunter and as long as Hunter didn't betray him they wouldn't betray him, it wouldn't hurt to be on guard.
In the middle of the village, there is a small restaurant, messy enough to be called a restaurant.
It has a stand placed in front and beside it is a traditional grill, big enough to grill one goat directly.
Behind the grill stood a middle-aged cook, he fanned the grill to increase the heat of the coals.
When Arthur and Amanda stopped in front of the grill, he said, "would you like something to eat? Please come in." He pointed his hand at the restaurant behind him.
"However, we only sell mutton and drinks in the fridge, so you can only order them," he added.
"Give us six plates," Amanda replied, startling the chef so he started looking at her doubtfully.
However, Amanda and Arthur immediately proceeded into the restaurant.
The concept of not paying after eating doesn't exist here because all the diners are people who are rich enough to even buy the entire village if it's not a special place. Although surprised, the chef did not hesitate to prepare Amanda's order.
There were three other diners in the restaurant, two middle-aged men and one in his 30s.
They were wearing nice suits and boots, their watches probably worth over 25,000 Euros.
Each of them stared at Amanda and Arthur as they entered, but of course, Europe was so vast and it wasn't certain if they were from Europe, they could be from America, so no one recognized Amanda.
However, they seemed interested in getting to know Amanda, something that is common here for building a business relationship.
Even though they were surprised by Arthur because he was still too young, they didn't comment on that. There were many humans who had strange hobbies including young people, if they had money and power it didn't matter what they did. In fact, there is no shortage of young people watching the fight via the internet.
"What would you like to drink?" Amanda asked Arthur. She didn't go straight to the dining table, but went to the fridge to get a drink.
"Enough water," Arthur answered, sitting behind an empty table.
Amanda then took three bottles of water and a bottle of tea before going to the table.
Their orders are ready faster. The chef brought over a large tray on which were six plates and on each one a piece of meat large enough to fill even a distended stomach.
He placed the plates on the table as he continued to stare at Amanda and Arthur, wondering who would eat five of the plates.
"Please eat," he said when he finished, he turned and returned to the grill, but kept glancing behind him.
Arthur picked up the fork and knife after he left, cutting the meat on his plate neatly before starting to eat.
The three men were also interested when they saw how much meat they ordered, so they kept watching to see how they ate.
Only moments later, they finally saw how Arthur was continuing to eat. It didn't look fast but by the time Amanda had only eaten a fifth of the meat, he had finished one plate and he picked up a new one.
Right after that, the man who looked to be in his 30s finally stood up and approached them. He had neatly combed brown hair, wore two diamond rings, which was quite impressive at first glance.
Amanda stared at him as he approached but Arthur still continued to eat, ignoring him as if he had not noticed his presence.
However, he didn't seem bothered, thinking that Arthur might have a slight difference from normal people, something that was made clear by the amount he ate.
"I'm Alan, Resources Director of Prima Coal Company, am I qualified to know your and your brother's names, lady?" He said to Amanda, apparently he thought they were siblings.
Right after saying that, he couldn't help but be surprised because Amanda shook her head, she said, "no, you are not qualified, and we are not siblings, we are lovers."
Amanda's answer made Arthur glance at her, but he made no comment. What Amanda noticed were Arthur's eyes after she spoke, his deadpan reaction disappointed her a bit but she was glad he didn't look like he wanted to rebuke her.
"Why are you still here?" Amanda asked Alan seeing he didn't go.
Alan's expression quickly changed. He felt humiliated when he realized Amanda didn't care about him at all.
"Hmph!" He grunted in annoyance, turned around and returned to his table without saying anything. The two middle-aged men laughed as they looked at him.
Alan might have been deeply offended, but he knew that he couldn't do anything rash before knowing full well who Amanda and Arthur were.
Just moments after that, a middle-aged man accompanied by a beautiful woman entered the restaurant. Amanda's cynical expression immediately appeared the moment she saw them.
However, the middle-aged man also showed a sinister expression when he saw her. He took out his phone and started recording, which was quite surprising.
"Jameson, what are you doing?" Amanda asked.
Alan and the two middle-aged men recognized Jameson. In their eyes, Jameson is a big shot because he is one of the few to have the title of billionaire, someone who has a net worth of over a billion dollars.
They wanted to say hello to Jameson, but were surprised by the way Amanda addressed him.
That confirms that Amanda is also a big shot, maybe not her, but at least her dad.
"Heh heh." Jameson laughed. He replied "Amanda, you are really mean and brave, bringing Mrs. Isabel's nephew to this place. I will tell Mrs. Isabel about this, let's see what she will do to you."
