Rise of The Anti God

Chapter 61 Rising Sun Trading Guild

The same afternoon in Damien's room,

The body of a dead Brown Claw Wolf was lying in front of him. Damien had a small sharp blade in his hand which he had got from Lily giving her some excuse. But the blade was only sharp enough to cut open a Nascent Ethereal Realm Beast.

Damien now thought of earning money by selling both pills and the ethereal core of ethereal beasts. Unlike low level cultivators, the ethereal core of ethereal beasts are a solid sphere no matter their cultivation level.

But for humans, their ethereal core would be in gaseous form for the first three realms and then the liquid form for the next three realms and finally it would be in the solid form for the last three realms of ethereal cultivation.

But there were no other major differences between a cultivator and an ethereal beast with the same cultivation other than the ethereal beast being stronger when it comes to pure combat prowess.

For example a cultivator at the first level of the Nascent Ethereal Beast would find it more easy to face another cultivator having the same cultivation rather than an ethereal beast at the same level when it comes to pure brute strength.

But Damien was surprised when Luna said that Valentina's ethereal core wasn't any different from humans. He couldn't imagine what kind of species Valentina exactly was and Luna for some reason was remaining silent about it.

However he decided to not mind about it much since he doesn't care what kind of species Valentina is. She will still be the same cute, innocent girl in his eyes.

Damien cut open its belly and when he took his hand out from inside its belly, there was a grey solid sphere in his hand. Looking at the ethereal core, Damien smiled thinking about the money he could make by selling a bundle of ethereal beast cores.

He took out the bodies of the wolves one by one from his soul space and started harvesting their ethereal cores.

It was evening when Damien finally harvested around 50 Nascent Ethereal Realm ethereal cores and 100 Initial Ethereal Realm cores.

'Time to make some money.' Damien put on a new black cloak he had again stolen on his way back to the palace today morning.

——

Damien had sneaked out of the palace and was roaming the market streets. People didn't seem to mind his strange appearance since there were some people who wandered around the streets in cloaks and disguise. But they were slightly surprised that unlike most who try to disguise themselves, Damien didn't have a mask but instead his face seemed like it had been blurred.

Damien finally spotted the 'Rising Sun Trading Guild' building. He knew that this merchant guild was run by the Xeton Empire. After all, who else would be presumptuous enough to name their guild having the name of the continent.

The Rising Sun Guild was well known throughout the continent for its reputation for selling the best quality products of all kinds. It would be hard for one to not find something they are looking for. And all their transactions were fair without any bias against any one side. In fact, they were the most prominent guild in the whole continent unsurprisingly.

While it's main headquarters was in Xeton Empire, the Rising Sun Trading Guild had its branches all over the continent in numerous towns, cities, etc. But it's major branches would always be in the capital cities of the empires; just like how Rising Sun Trading Guild's major branch was in the Rong Imperial City, the one Damien was currently looking at from the outside. It was the biggest establishment in the empire.

Damien was wondering how powerful and prosperous the Xeton Empire was. He was thinking that all the best of the best things were coming from the Xeton Empire. Even the Alchemist Society was basically founded by the Xeton Empire.

The pills they concoct and sell are rumored to be top notch even though the pricing is high. The Alchemist Society was a subsidiary of the Rising Sun Trading Guild, so Damien knew that he could hit two birds with one stone by selling the Rank 2 Sustenance Pill he had concocted before and the ethereal beast cores.

The Rising Sun Trading Guild was several tens of feet tall and occupied an area with a radius of several hundred feet. He saw a flag with the emblem of a fiery sun rising over a hill suspended in mid air above the entrance. The four words "Rising Sun Trading Guild", on the horizontal placard were stunning to see when reflected by the sunlight.

He noticed that there wasn't much bustling or liveliness of the crowd near the building unlike the rest of the street. He saw how people who passed through the front of the building would walk with hurried steps with their mouths closed as if they were afraid to disturb something.

With his strange disguise and seeing him entering the Rising Sun Trading Guild, it attracted the attention of many people, mostly the commoners and people belonging to lower class families.

Their gazes were filled with a bit of reverence as they guessed that Damien would probably be having enough capital to trade inside the Rising Sun Trading Guild and would undoubtedly be a person of great importance.

As he entered the building, the doors automatically opened and he felt that the interiors of the building gave off a feeling of indescribable luxury. But before he could admire and look around, he was greeted by a pretty welcoming maid who lightly smiled at him with a dignified air trying her best to hide her surprise upon seeing the odd person in front of her "Esteemed customer, welcome to the Rising Sun Trading Guild, please enter."

As he was guided further inside by the maid, he was awed by the magnificent and grand air of the interior. However other than the many beautiful maidens in the hall, there weren't many visitors.

But Damien didn't find that odd since he knew that the things sold at this place weren't simple and only a minority would be able to afford it. Even gold coins were of no use to make any purchases in this guild. No matter what they purchased or sold, everything was calculated using Spirit Stones only. One couldn't purchase any item for less than a single Green Spirit Stone in this place. So even though there weren't many visitors in the Rising Sun Trading Guild, any transaction was a golden heap of profit for them.

"Esteemed customer, may I know what you are looking for?" The maid who welcomed Damien, asked with a polite smile.

"I am looking to sell pills and ethereal cores before buying anything." Damien stated, straight to the point.

"I see, if you are looking to sell pills, then the Alchemist Society is on the third floor while all ethereal beast core transactions are done at the second floor. Which floor would you like to visit first, esteemed customer?"

Damien didn't think much and answered straight away, "I would like to visit the Alchemist Society first then."

The maid slightly bowed, "Sure, please follow me."

She started walking in front of Damien with a lissom posture, leading him towards the third floor.

The third floor was deserted without a single soul present. But the moment Damien entered the third floor, he instantly felt an incomparably strong medicinal aura pave over. As he glanced around, he found that the third floor was filled with all sorts of exquisite jade and wooden boxes, probably containing precious medicinal herbs.

At the same time, he felt a flurry of fluctuating ethereal energy spread over. Damien noticed that the floor was filled with invisible formations, some of which were defensive formations, while others were attack formations.

He knew that once anything out of the ordinary happened in this place, these formations would all immediately activate automatically. But that's considering if anyone even has the guts to cause trouble inside this building. Not even the powerhouses from the other two empires would dare to be rash here.

"Elder Edward, this guest is looking to sell pills."

Damien turned his head and saw the maid talking with respect to an old man.
