Rise of the Crusader

Chapter 80

80 The Bandit division Vs The Norms Division I

“The number one student in the bandit division, Victor Silverman aka killshot,” Camille muttered.

Starting at the fairly tall, lean-built young man with peach skin, turquoise eyes, and black hair that was swept back with only a strand hanging down his face, a smile appeared on Camille’s face.

Unlike the other divisions, the students from the bandit division wore either a black armband, waistband, or headband with the symbol of a skull and crossbones on it.

When Raphael heard Camille, he nodded his head slightly before shifting his gaze towards the others.

“What an asshole.” Suddenly, Aiden’s voice rang out.

Aiden’s hands were folded across his chest, as he stared at the young man who was holding on to a dual pistol, and a frown hung on his face.

The battle which was going on outside the building was brutal. Heads, hands, legs, and several body parts were flying all over the area, and if there was one person with the highest kill count, then it would be Victor.

Apart from a speed that defied logic for someone who wasn’t a speedster, he was able to shoot numerous people in rapid succession with different guns and also never missed a target.

Every shot Victor fired brought the target to his or her knees.

.....

“He isn’t all that impressive, you know. It’s those guns that he uses. Why doesn’t he just drop those guns and see if he won’t get his ass kicked.” Aiden sneered.

Camille frowned upon Aiden’s words, she stared at him and if eyes could kill, Aiden would have died countless times. She continues to stare at him furiously, and it was only after Aiden turned toward her that she removed her gaze from him.

“What?!” Aiden exclaimed as he saw the look on Camille’s face. “There’s really nothing special about him apart from those guns, he should put them aside, and let’s see, if I won’t beat him to a pulp.”

Suddenly, a chuckle escaped Camille’s mouth. “Beat him to a pulp? You wish.” Camille shook her head, as she found Aiden’s claim very ridiculous.

“And you said there is nothing special about him apart from those guns but isn’t that the same with you? Without your space thingy, there also isn’t anything unique about you.” Camille stated.

Aiden’s mouth opened slightly when he heard Camille, with shock then evident on his face. He wanted to speak, but the words weren’t just coming.

Aiden suddenly heaved a deep breath, “You know what, there’s no use in arguing with you. Raphael, back me up here if I and that douchebag were to go head-to-head, who is going to win.”

“I want you to be honest. In a normal fight, he might stand a chance, but in a death match between the both of us, who do you think will come out alive?” Aiden inquired.

Raphael stared at Aiden for a few seconds, before shifting his gaze back to Victor, who was dashing through the surrounding, killing students with some multiple shots and others with a single shot. Raphael turned towards Aiden, he shook his head and said.

“Definitely not you.”

“Hahaha Hahahaha!” Camille burst into laughter when she heard Raphael. “Yes, Aiden, he will destroy you. In fact, if you’re ever looking for the quickest way to die, then go fight with Victor.” Camille said.

Aiden sneered, his eyebrows were lowered and pulled together when he heard Camille.

“I’m not so surprised you would say that about him, since you’re clearly infatuated with the douchebag, Camille. But, come on, Raphael, not you too.” Aiden shook his head.

“For one, you should be on my side here because that asshole has been eyeing your woman since forever.”

Raphael knitted his brows, he would have asked which woman, but he already knew who Aiden was referring to, so instead, he kept quiet.

Camille flashed a rough smile as she stared at Raphael. She seemed to assume that the stern expression on Raphael’s face was because he was upset from what he had just heard.

“Raphael, there’s really nothing to worry about. Victor and Elisa are just friends, in fact, childhood friends. If Elisa was interested in Victor, they would have been together, but they are not.” Camilla said.

“Ain’t you just saying this because you have a crush on him.”

“I don’t have a crush on Victor,” Camille stated. “I simply just respect him, it’s the same way with Raphael. Perhaps, if you weren’t so weak, I might feel the same way to you.”

“Y-You...” Aiden stuttered as he pointed his finger at Camille.

Camille shrugged her shoulder, she was about to speak when a voice rang out.

“Shhh!!!!” It was Raphael that spoke. Raphael then glared at the both of them for a few seconds before focusing his attention back on the battle which was going outside.

Aiden and Camille stared at one another, seemingly shocked by what had just happened. The both of them, however, remained quiet and they stared through the window.

...

“Victor!!!!!”

A woman of slender build with white skin, brown eyes, and long, waist-length, burnt orange hair stared at Victor with eyes brimming with killing intent.

It wasn’t just this woman’s eyes that excluded killing intent, but her body as well.

However, when Victor heard the woman, he smirked and then blew air at the gun muzzle. Victor was holding on to a dual pistol, and after he blew air on both pistols, he pointed them at the woman.

“Where do you want it?” Victor inquired as he seized her body from head to toe. “Your head, chest, hands, or,” Victor paused, “Do you want it down there?!”

The woman frowned deeply when she saw where Victor was pointing the guns at.

“I dare you to give it a shot!” The woman exclaimed, stretching both hands forward.

A smile hung on Victor’s face when he heard the woman. He lowered both guns down, and as the woman shook her head, Victor raised both guns and pulled the triggers consecutively.

The woman was quick to react but when compared to the speed and accuracy of the bullets that were fired she lacked behind greatly. As four bullets embedded into her hands and legs, she staggered several steps backward.

Staring at the woman’s hands and legs that were bleeding profusely, Victor’s lips curl inwardly. Victor sneered, and then said, “Did you really think that I was going to use a meta bullet against you?”

Victor’s expression was full of mockery as he stared at the woman.

One of the items that came into existence after the emergence of superpowers and metahuman was meta-bullets. Bullets that were already modified were capable of possessing a severe threat to the lives of metahumans.

The meta bullets were however an item possessed only by the governments and perhaps a few black markets. And of course, with the price that could feed a state, if not a country.

“Hahaha!! Knowing the sort of powers that you possess that would be a ridiculous move to make, Nevaeh.” Victor had already pointed the guns back at the woman as he spoke.

Nevaeh held her left arm, which was oozing out with blood, and a frown could be seen on her face as she glared at Victor.

The frown on her face soon deepened as a tall, muscular, and bald man wearing half of a plaque doctor mask on his face appeared beside Victor.

The man was wearing the academy uniform but without the blazers, and several tattoos could be seen on both of his hands, all the way to his neck. His shirt wasn’t fully buttoned, leaving his cheat exposed, and a large scar could be seen on his left chest.

“Come on, Nevaeh, are you really going to allow your brothers and sisters to die all because of some stock market?” Victor asked with a sadistic smile on his face. “You should ask yourself if it’s worth it because, to me, I don’t think it is.”

“But, if you really want it to go this way, then I and my brothers will absolutely deliver the obliteration. We will have that stock market whether you like it or not, it all comes down to whether you will exist to witness it or not.”

A second after Victor, he pointed his gun at one of the students in the surroundings and pulled the trigger.

PAH!

“Ahhhh~!”

It wasn’t even up to five seconds after the bullet was fired, and a roar of agony erupted from two students in the area. The bullet that Victor had shot was the infamous meta bullet, and once it penetrated into their bodies, it sent all the cells, tissues, and blood into a distorted state.

“Pfft!” The two students soon had their bodies covered in blood, and within seconds the both of them stumbled to the ground.

As both of their hearts stopped beating, their skins had already become arctic white, eyes turned completely white with blood oozing out of them, and for some reason, a smile was on their face.

“So, what is it going to be, Nevaeh?” Victor asked.
