Rise of the Crusader

Chapter 234 Guest In The Mansion II

An hour passed since Raphael brought Camille to the mansion, and once Camille felt she was able to move freely, she slowly stood from the couch.

Camille had only then taken a step when she felt someone glaring at her.

She abruptly paused, and as she turned towards the owl sitting in front of her, her mouth opened slightly and she said.

"I will be leaving now. Tell Raphael, I said thank you."

After those words, Camille was about to head towards the door when Gus appeared in front of her.

There was a grim look on its face as it stared at her. And even though Gus had yet to speak, Camille was able to understand what it was trying to imply.

Before leaving, Raphael had left Gus with her, but it wasn't just to tend to her needs, instead, he was making sure that she wouldn't leave the mansion until he was back.

Raphael would have given the task to Aiden if he were awake, but Aiden was still unconscious, so the person who could handle it while he was away was Gus.

"What do you think you're doing, Gus!" Camille spoke in an angry voice.

"I have somewhere I need to be now."

Camille soon balled her hand into a fist, as despite what she had said, Gus didn't budge from where it was.

Gus stared at her with mockery written all over his face. It seemed to be asserting that even if the world were to crumble, it still wouldn't move from it was.

"Y-You!!!" Camille stuttered.

She moved towards the direction Raphael went, "Raphael, come out now!"

"Thank you so very much for rescuing and treating me, but there's somewhere I need to go now." Camille's loud voice echoed through the whole building.

However, even after she spoke, there was no response from Raphael. Camille was certain he heard her, but he didn't want to respond to her.

"Raphael Queen!!!!" Camille yelled.

"If you won't come on out, then you leave me no other choice." With that said, and a black staff appeared in Camille's hand.

Along with the black staff were three undead appearing behind her. And as they stared at the owl in front of them, there was killing intent in their eyes.

Before the undead and Camille, Gus was surprisingly calm. The killing intent excluded out of their bodies was more like child's play for Gus and with a flap of its wing, it dispersed the killing intent instantly.

While the move was made very casually, Camille's eyes twitched, and as she took a step backward, there was a bit of fear present in her eyes.

Camille was, in fact, aware of Gus's identity, but never did she expect that Gus was this powerful.

The expression full of mockery didn't leave Gus's face as it stared at Camille, and as she took a couple of steps backward, Gus shook its head repeatedly.

"Where are you going to?"

As Camille stumbled upon something or rather someone, her body shook, and as she heard that cold voice, fear swept all over her body.

She slowly turned, and seeing Raphael, she heaved a deep breath.

"I… I need to leave, can you tell Gus to stop blocking my path." Said Camille.

Raphael turned towards Gus as he heard Camille, and with a slight nod, Gus flew away from the living room.

It was almost as though Gus had been waiting for Raphael to arrive in the living room, and once he did, he wasted no time and left the room quickly.

"Thank you," Camille muttered.

With that said, Camille was about to move when Raphael suddenly held her hand.

He stared at her for a few seconds before then turning towards the cup in his hand. "You can leave after drinking this," Raphael said in a soft voice.

As Camille looked at the cup in Raphael's hand, she couldn't help but look Into the eyes of the person in front of her.

One minute he was very cold and indifferent to others, and in the next minute, he was all caring and loving. As Camille peered deep into Raphael's blue, glittering eyes, she couldn't help but wonder what was going on in his head at times.

"Open up."

Camille opened her mouth gently as she heard Raphael.

Her eyes were still glued to Raphael, as she drank what was in the cup. Even though she was oblivious to what was in the cup, Camille decided to trust Raphael on this.

If he had any ill intention towards her, he would have done it when she was at her weakest.

"Good." Once the cup was emptied, Raphael took the cup away from Camille.

He took a step back as he was prepared for two things to happen once she drank from the cup. It was either she vomited or she didn't.

As Raphael was to take another step backward just in case, Camille's mouth opened, and before he could even react, she vomited on him.

"Ah!"

Raphael gritted his teeth as he stared at his clothes.

"I'm so sorry." Camille blurted a second after.

"I will clean this up." Said Camille as she moved towards Raphael.

She placed her hand on his clothes and was about to take it off when her mouth opened slightly.

"Ahhh come on!" Raphael exclaimed as the instant Camille's mouth opened, she exploded all over his clothes again.

"I'm so sorry… let me hel-"

Before Camille would complete her words, Raphael took a step backward and said, "it's fine. I will take care of it myself."

With that said, and Raphael removed his top. He stared at his pants that also wasn't spared from Camille's vomit, and shook his head.

As Raphael began to loosen his pants, Camille seized her body from top to bottom. There were also a few stains around her clothes, and as the neat freak she was, she couldn't help but find it very uncomfortable.

"E-Ehm… Raphael." Camille muttered.

"I need to change, I can't continue to wear these clothes." Said, Camille. And seeing the look on Raphael's face, Camille spoke.

"Elisa and I are of the same size, can you please lend me her clothes, I promise to return them when I get to the base."

Upon hearing Elisa, Raphael nodded his head. He stretched his hand and as Camille pulled off her top, leaving only her brassiere, Raphael seized her from top to bottom.
