Solo Player Arvin

Chapter 126 - -39<Third-Floor-3>

Arvin's heart was beating faster and faster. He knew that his cover would be blown as soon the people behind him would see the area where he was lying. After all only an idiot would not be able to recognize a sand color blanket lying on the ground. Arvin didn't know whether these people would be hostile or not. But he didn't want to take any chances. He took his kunai knives. He thought when these guys would come closer he would come out and pounce at everyone.

Arvin was waiting for the right moment, but that moment never came. As Arvin was lying he heard an explosion. He then sensed the people that were coming towards him started running towards the explosion.

As he sensed that there was no one beside him, he came out of the blanket. He then looked towards the camp. He saw that the whole camp was on fire. People were screaming and running around. Some people were fighting with each other. There was total chaos. Arvin looked at the campsite, then he started thinking about what he should do?

Looking at the people that we're fighting, Arvin started thinking pros and cons of this situation. He did not know what he should do? But it was then he got it. While these people were busy fighting why not steal one of the animals that they came from. After all, having a mount was way better than walking in an endless desert.

So Arvin while crouching started running towards the place where the mounts were kept. As Arvin came closer to where all the mounts were he saw that all the mounts have started running here and there from the explosions and fire. All the mounts had either ran away. But as Arvin was getting dejected he saw that two mounts came running out of the campfire…

The mount that was running in front was being ridden by a man and woman. They both had their faces covered so Arvin didn't have any good look at them. While the mount that was following them was ridden by a woman and a child. The woman also had her face covered. While the child looked like a 9-10-year-old girl.

But as these guys were passing by, a green flaming arrow came flying from one of the men from the camps and shot the woman with the child. As the arrow hit her she fell down from her mount. Arvin didn't know why but the mount also came to a stop when the woman fell. Arvin looked at that and smiled.

This was the chance that he was waiting for. He made a run for the mount. With the mount in his sights, he started running towards it. While the men that were attacking the camp saw Arvin running towards the mount, they started shooting arrows at him. Arvin was still a level-209 warrior so he was able to evade the arrows with ease.

Arvin when came towards the mount, he saw that the woman was lying on the sand with an arrow on her back. While the kid was desperately trying to drag the woman out of here. Seeing that kid and her desperate attempt to save the woman, made Arvin sorry for them.

Arvin didn't know why but when he came towards the mount, he grabbed the kid and the woman in his arms and then jumped on the mount. And as soon as he jumped the mount started running with full speed ahead…

Maybe it was the human side of Arvin that compelled him to take this step. But he did it. While running away, Arvin could feel that the child was biting his arms and was trying to loosen his grip around her. But it didn't pained that much…

After some time she stopped struggling. Arvin wanted to make sure that he didn't have any pursuers do he didn't stop the mount until he found a decent place to hide…

The mount kept running for 4 hours or so. Arvin would slap the mount when he started getting slow to increase its speed. But now the slapping was not working that meant that this mount was getting tired and it would not be able to run any further without proper rest. Arvin looked around but he was not able to see anything from which they could take cover.

So Arvin noted the direction that he was going. And after noting the direction he changed the direction of the mount and started heading towards the tallest sand dune that he could find. As Arvin stopped the mount, the mount instantly fell down on its knees with Arvin still on his top. Because of this the kid, woman, and Arvin fell to the ground as well.

As Arvin and the kid fell, the kid broke away from Arvin's grasp and stood up. She looked at Arvin glaring daggers at him. He didn't what happened to her, but she then ran towards Arvin and jumped on him. She started pulling his hair and started scratching his face.

Arvin got irritated from her action, he threw her on the grounds with force. That action alone was enough to stun the girl. Arvin then crouched down and took some rope that he brought on the second floor. He then binds the little girl with ropes. After binding her, Arvin looked at the woman that was still lying on the ground. If he wanted to help her, then he would need to make some light.

Arvin took some dry wood that he got from the first floor and lit a fire. He then dragged the woman closer to the fire. He unmasked her. When the cloth covering the face was removed he saw that the woman in question was in fact a fennec fox.

Right now that woman was sweating like she was in a sauna. Arvin checked her temperature by touching her forehead. It was then he felt that she was burning up. She was suffering from a very high fever. Arvin then rotated her to check up on her wounds.

Previously Arvin broke the arrow that was lodged on her back. He knew that if he takes the arrow out then she would bleed out very fast. He may don't have a chance to save her. So he broke the backside of the arrow and let the arrowhead still stay inside her body.

Now on her backside, he could see that arrowhead was still lodged on her back. While the flesh around the arrowhead had started becoming black. While the nerves around the wound have started becoming black. Arvin looked at the wound and instantly knew that this was the effect of poison. He had read a book about poisoning so he was 100% sure that the woman was poisoned.

Arvin then understood that maybe letting the arrowhead in her system was a bad idea. But as she was hers, Arvin decided that he would try to cure her. While Arvin was thinking about what to do next he saw that child was struggling very hard to get close to the woman that was lying in front of him.

As he saw her struggling he promised himself that he would try to help the woman to the best of his abilities. As an orphan, he understood the pain of living alone. He knew the pain of not having to be loved. So he decided that he would try his best to cure the woman.

Arvin first took a small knife, with which he took out the arrowhead. After that, he took a purple color potion that he got from Arvin. According to the book that he had read, this potion is poison dispelling potion. That book also mentioned the uses and against which poisons this potion is effective.

Arvin didn't know much about the poison which was affecting this lady. So he took a shot thinking that maybe this potion would be helpful. Arvin sprayed some potion on the wound. This made the woman scream in pain. She started struggling, but then Arvin held her tightly.

Arvin waited to saw that some of the black veins have started to disappear. Seeing that Arvin understood that this potion is effective against this poison. So Arvin took the machete that he brought on the first floor. He then kept that machete on fire and started heating up. As the iron of the machete started becoming red hot, Arvin took out the machete and pressed it on the wound of the woman.

From this woman screamed in pain, but Arvin held her tightly. He then brought some red color potion that was healing potion. According to a book that he had read, to cure such a wound one has to mix poison dispelling potion and healing potion at a certain ratio and then give it to the patient.

Arvin made a brand new potion. He then started feeding it to the woman by putting the potion in his mouth and feeding it to her by French kiss.
