Chapter 302 He Is Here
"He is here…" Kyle repeated what the Black Dragon's voice told him. Selene and everyone else paled just like Kyle before a wave of panic swept through them.
They were not able to clear their mind because everything seemed to be a big mess.
"Just activate the Lost Arc and we will run to the furthest place from this hall…" Yasmine quickly said. She was the first one to resin her composure and Kyle quickly nodded his head before he rushed forward.
He ignored the heavy pressure that weighed on him. Time was ticking and it was not in their favor. Kyle rushed to the Lost Arc and touched it without hesitation.
The Dragonscale map appeared in his hand and it began to glow brightly. It looked like a small piece in the Lost Arc was missing. Kyle instinctively put the dragonscale inside before he pressed his hand on the dragonscale, through which he inserted his Soul force inside the Lost Arc.
When the first bits of Soul force entered the Lost Arc, Kyle's hand holding the Lost Arc began to ache heavily. It was as if his entire hand had been pricked and something warm and soothing entered his body. Energy coursed through his body calming the chaotic mind of the young man. It embrace him tightly and comforted Kyle.
A headache overcame him all of a sudden and numerous information flooded him. However, Kyle couldn't waste his time to think about the information that entered his mind. He wanted to remove his hand that had begun to bleed but felt incapable of doing so.
Almost an entire minute passed before Kyle felt that his mind was freed of all the information that had entered his mind. The Lost Arc began to glow brightly and within the hollow room, a blueish-dark mass was manifested. It was a membrane that allowed everyone to step into a different dimension.
Kyle's entire being wanted to step through the membrane but he couldn't do that. He had to flee with his friends to escape the Guild Master's grasp.
It didn't matter whether the Guild Master could enter the Lost Arc, or if he would get his hands on the Black Dragon's corpse. All of this didn't really matter as long as they survived.
That was also why Kyle forcefully suppressed all his desires and forced him to do the exact contrary they suggested.
At that moment, a robotic voice began to resound in his mind as the Lost Arc began to glow in bright golden light, indicating that it was fully activated.
[The Lost Arc of the Fallen Olymp has been activated. You have been recognized as its new owner!]
[Everyone entering the Fallen Olymp will receive a standardized System. Congratulations!]
[Personal System will be implanted within the Owner of the Lost Arc. Please be patient.]
[System can be used within and outside the Fallen Olymp. Special functions will be unveiled inside the Fallen Olymp.]
"What the hell?... This is some weird bullshit…" Kyle growled before he rushed back to the others. His hand was still bleeding and the robotic voice still resounded in his mind. At the right corner in his sight, a small icon appeared. When he thought about it, a holographic screen manifested right in front of him.
[Personal System is currently being imported. Remaining time before it can be used <71H:59M:55S>]
Kyle had no idea what was going on but he tried to remove the holographic screen from his sight just a moment later.
"Did you guys hear this as well…the robotic voice?" Kyle asked the others, who could barely hear him. They were afraid and had only waited for Kyle to come with them.
"What robotic voice? There was nothing, don't spout nonsense and come with us!!" Beatrice could only shout before she grasped his hand to rush behind the others, who had already come up with the best path to flee as far as possible from the Guild Master.
Kyle's head moved upward and he was clearly able to see the hues of development of an existence he had never seen before. However, that existences were definitely the Guild Master, that was something Kyle was certain about.
They rushed through the tunnels as fast as possible but not even half a minute later, Kyle was forced to halt in his tracks and motion everyone to quiet down and conceal their powers.
Arashi cowered in Kyle's soul vessel and Aurora hid inside the fairy symbol. A terrifying wild and unrestrained aura swept through the Cave of the Lost Arc. Selene and Jaden were most affected by that wild aura that caused them to enter the fetal position. Kyle wanted to move to calm them but he held back from making the slightest movement. After all, every single motion could be the reason for them to be discovered.
Nobody wanted this to happen, which was also why they hardly breathed.
'What the hell was this robotic voice, and why is the Guild Master already here?!? And why is he already at the Plynur stage, or is he just at the peak of the Malyr stage?!' Too many thoughts flashed through Kyle's mind and he didn't have one answer ready.
The holographic screen and the robotic voice were not really important right now. However, the fact that the Guild Master was at an extremely high cultivation base was bothersome enough. Kyle frowned deeply while not moving a single inch.
'Please just enter the Cave of the Lost Arc before I close it again. By then we've gotten rid of you and can live without any problems!' Kyle almost began to pray but his heart sunk when he heard a light chuckling resound through the entire Cave of the Lost Arc.
The Guild Master was already in the Hall of Gods, which was what Kyle and the others called it.
"Come out, or I will kill your little friends the moment I get them. I can sense all of you!" A hoarse voice with a deep accent followed the chuckling and everyone's heart sunk to the ground.
They looked at Kyle in fright but he couldn't even look in their eyes as he released a deep sigh.
He moved his lips only to speak to his friends before he set one foot after another.
-I will be back, don't worry.-
Everyone could tell what Kyle wanted them to understand. They shouldn't worry. However, that was easier said than done. Their 'plans' had been shattered even before they could be initiated.
The Guild Master had appeared all of a sudden and he had sensed that Kyle and the others were still in the Cave of the Lost Arc.
This was something they didn't understand, especially because the natural isolation of energies inside the Cave of the Lost Arc was exceptional. By concealing their cultivation energies, nobody should be able to sense them.
Unfortunately, this was not the entire truth and it didn't prevent the Guild Master to smell the most recent scent of the Lohars, and everyone else.
Their scent was not even five minutes old when the Guild Master had entered the Halls of the Gods.
Kyle and the others didn't think about destroying their other traces such as their scent, and he realized his mistake only when he realized what race the Guild Master belonged to.
"Bearheart Barbarian?"
