Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts

Chapter 384 Defeating Their Respective Opponents

"Ha… Ha…" The squirrel girl was breathing heavily. Her body was full of wounds. Still, she maintained her aggressiveness.

However, her body felt so heavy.

The swordsman approached her.

When she was about to unleash her abilities, the magician summoned the tentacles to disrupt her. As a result, she had to avoid it, even if it meant failing to activate her ability.

The swordsman took advantage of that opportunity to close in and struck her.

Both of them exchanged several clashes, but it was clear that the swordsman was better than her. Although he couldn't cut her nails, her hands were bleeding.

She wanted to get away, but she abruptly noticed a presence appearing behind her. She tried to activate her ability, but the archer shot his arrow to distract her. With the addition of the swordsman that kept her two hands busy, the squirrel girl had no other choice but to sacrifice a bit.

The assassin appeared on her back. With a slight tilt of her body, she let the assassin hit her where it was not vital. After that, her foot moved as though she wanted to kick him, so the assassin had already run away first.

It turned out to be a fake. After all, she had to kick the arrow instead of him. Still, this let the swordsman hit her on the side.

If not for her fast reaction, she would have been cleaved in two. Even Jason was already frowning, as if he was about to intervene.

But it didn't take long before he needed to intervene. After all, the scale moved once more.

"Judgment time."

With the clacking sound of the scale, the squirrel girl noticed the intense burden added on her.

It reduced her physical ability even more, resulting in the swordsman getting the better of her.

"Ah…" The squirrel girl gritted her teeth. It seemed her time was up. 'Sorry. Alavenya. I can't hold them longer than this…'

She closed her eyes, accepting her defeat.

In that instant, Jason appeared between them. He grabbed the swordsman's blade and announced, "Alavenya's familiar is out. Please head outside the arena and do nothing more after this. Otherwise, your summoner will be disqualified."

She bit her lips. In the end, there was nothing she could do but obey.

Anubis, on the other hand, looked at Jason as if he was impressed by his ability. Then he glanced to the side, looking at the other four battles.

'I want to help, but it doesn't seem any of them would like to be helped. I guess I will be watching them from here.' Anubis sighed. He recalled the tomb's guardians as well as his domain with some Ena to spare.

He just focused on Nathan's fight, since it was the most concerning one.

On the other hand, Jinwu was the second one who managed to take down his opponent.

Bam!

The blazing wave hit the beetle queen on the ground and flared up, engulfing the queen.

"Aaahhh!" The beetle queen was screaming in pain, but she soon created a manifestation of her claw and swallowed her body and the flame. The flame was dissolved within the manifestation.

Jinwu dove with the highest speed as his body was enveloped in flame.

The beetle queen hurriedly recalled the manifestation and created a barrier to block him.

To her surprise, this was just a bluff. He actually stopped in midair and spread his wings, sending forth several rays that once again blinded the queen.

"!!!" The queen panicked, thinking there would be another sneaky attack coming.

Unfortunately for her, there was no need for such a thing anymore.

Jinwu concentrated the sunlight in a single spot, melting the barrier at a speed visible to the naked eye.

The beetle queen had no other choice but to flip her body and crawl out.

But that was when Jinwu activated his domain, engulfing the barrier completely.

The beetle queen could feel that the fire was burning her shell, but she had to continue. As soon as she managed to crawl out, another claw's manifestation appeared, neutralizing the fire on her shell.

After that, she flew toward Jinwu. Since Jinwu dove earlier, the distance between them could be covered in a second.

She grabbed Jinwu and threw him to the ground. It was time for the counterattack.

However, the moment she flew toward Jinwu, who looked helpless on the ground, she summoned her claw manifestation.

Jinwu suddenly opened his mouth.

There was a reason Jinwu didn't fight back earlier. He had gathered the sunlight in his mouth and contained it.

"!!!" The beetle queen widened her eyes in shock. She didn't realize she had been tricked.

If she recalled the claw manifestation, she wouldn't have enough time to summon the shield. On the other hand, the claw manifestation wouldn't be enough to stop Jinwu's full power beam.

The beetle queen gritted her teeth. At her speed, she couldn't fly away fast enough.

In the end, Jinwu released his beam. The beetle queen's claw manifestation took it head-on but melted almost instantly.

As if noticing that the attack was too much for the beetle queen to handle, Jason suddenly appeared between them. He formed a shield of his own to help the beetle queen.

The referee's interference only meant one thing. The beetle queen had lost. So, Jinwu stopped his attack, showing that even Jason's shield was melting because of the high temperature.

"Sorry, but my summoner is like that. If I'm not a bit tricky, then it means I have no improvement at all. Still, you are strong," said Jinwu.

"You are out. Please leave the arena and not do anything, or your summoner will be disqualified." Jason warned the beetle queen while thinking, 'And this is the second one. How come his familiar is stronger than their opponents? Isn't their Ena supposed to be much lower compared to Alavenya's familiars?'

As soon as Jason announced his victory, Jinwu took a glance at Nathan's condition before flying away, returning to his relaxed form. He perched on Anubis' back while saying, "I'm done. Do we need to help them?"
