Before Tian Xun could answer, Tian Xin poured cold water, "Stop dreaming. What level are you on to reincarnate as a Seraph? "I see," Lin Shen replied, suddenly understanding.

"As for the rivalry among the three families, if you're willing, I'll put your name forth right now," Tian Xun said.

"I'll do my best, but don't blame me if I don't come in first," Lin Shen responded. After all, he had just achieved Ascension and didn't know much about his opponents, so he didn't dare to make any guarantees.

Of course, he was still quite confident in himself. Unless he encountered freak Ascenders like Di Esi and Ye Ya, most higher-level Ascenders posed no threat to him.

"If you don't even have the confidence to deal with Chi Ba, that's pretty weak," Tian Xin said, never missing an opportunity to take a jab at Lin Shen.

"If you're so confident, why don't you go?" Lin Shen said with a smile.

Tian Xin's face turned red, and she couldn't muster a response.

"Who is the Ascender from the An Family entering the fray?" Lin Shen asked.

"You don't need to worry about them. It's the same human who went to the forbidden area with us. The An Family doesn't have any particularly strong Ascenders here, having fallen to the point where they let a human enter the arena," Tian Xin said, but then trailed off.

She suddenly realized that their side was also fielding a human, just like the An Family.

"The Ximen Swordsman has achieved Ascension?" Lin Shen was somewhat surprised.

But thinking about it, it made sense. The Ximen Swordsman had long been at the top Crystal Base level and had spent such a long time on the Giant Ring Star. Moreover, after receiving favor from the high-ranking Celestials, it was no wonder he achieved Ascension.

Lin Shen was curious about what the Ximen Swordsman's Life Base would be.

"That human is not simple. Don't underestimate him," Tian Xun warned. "You came to the Giant Ring Star with him, so you must know a bit about him, right?"

Lin Shen didn't respond directly. Instead, he walked up to Tian Xun, brought his lips close to her ear, and whispered, "If I win, as a reward, I'd like to sleep holding you for one night. Is that okay?"

Tian Xin pricked up her ears to eavesdrop but couldn't make out a thing.

"Of course, you can, even if you don't win," Tian Xun's cheeks flushed slightly, but the color vanished in an instant as she said with a smile.

"Then it's settled," Lin Shen said, overjoyed, filled with a surge of energy now that Tian Xun's Fire Seed finally had a destination.

After Tian Xun left to report Lin Shen's name, Tian Xin racked his brain trying to figure out what condition Lin Shen had proposed.

Naturally, Lin Shen wouldn't tell him; he couldn't very well say, "I want to sleep with your niece."

Ignoring Tian Xin, Lin Shen returned to his room, locked the door from the inside, and then adjusted the time to transport himself to Ring Mountain Planet.

Lin Shen climbed to the top of a nearby Ring Mountain and looked at the green liquid inside, pondering whether this could indeed be a Base Mutation location. "Should I try immersing my Life Base into that green liquid?" he thought.

After much contemplation, Lin Shen decided to give it a try.

After all, if those Ascension Level Supersource Dragons could survive in the green liquid, his Life Base's strength should presumably be fine.

If this place really was a site of Base Mutation, then he and Wei and the others' Life Base reincarnations would genuinely have a place to occur.

The only issue was that the Ascension Pool on Sky Pinnacle Star had been modified by the Celestial Race; whether a typical site of Base Mutation could facilitate the reincarnation of a Life Base remained a question.

"First, I'll deal with these Triceratops before anything else," Lin Shen thought, no longer needing to lure the Triceratops out.

He directly released the Inheritance Fan Life Base and commanded it to fly into the Ring Mountain.

The Inheritance Fan transformed into a beam of black light and struck at a Triceratops. Discovering the fan, they immediately spouted their Life Base in an attack against Lin Shen's fan.

"Open!" Lin Shen uttered softly, and the fan suddenly unfurled, with white light feathers appearing at the end of the ribs, resembling a Peacock Display.

The original force of the impact, due to the fan opening, shifted into spinning flight, tracing an arc and bypassing the Life Base attacks aimed at the fan, slicing off a Triceratops' head.

The fan spun rapidly, like a circular boomerang, flying high and low in the Ring Mountain along an arc, swiftly beheading the Triceratops one by one.

"Killing these regular Ascended Creatures poses absolutely no challenge at all," Lin Shen felt it was too easy, no different from killing Base Variant Creatures.

The bodies of the Triceratops fell into the green liquid, but that was not his focus; Lin Shen flew in and extracted their Life Bases.

These could be used by Wei Wufu, to quickly increase the number of his reincarnations.

The temperature inside the Ring Mountain was extremely high, growing hotter the closer one got to the green liquid, which was far hotter than the magma on the Human Mother Planet.

"No wonder these Supersource Dragons feel so uncomfortable after leaving the Ring Mountain. They were born in such high-temperature environments, suddenly moving to cooler climates; it would be strange if they could adapt," Lin Shen thought, and with a thought, the closed Inheritance Fan headed towards the green liquid.

When the fan touched the green liquid, other than feeling a scorching heat, no special events occurred.

"Was I mistaken? Is this green liquid not the energy from a Base Mutation location? Or is it that energy from an unprocessed Base Mutation location cannot be absorbed by a Life Base?" Lin Shen waited for a while, but other than the Inheritance Fan growing hotter, no other reactions occurred, so he reluctantly retracted the Inheritance Fan.

Without any other good options, Lin Shen had to abandon the idea for now and decided to search for variant Supersource Dragons first, to obtain variant Spirit Bases and enhance his Life Base reincarnation count.

As usual, he went to check if the variant Pterosaur was around and, to his surprise, discovered that the variant Pterosaur had returned.
