Chapter 413 The Person in the Cave
```
The fiery glow on Golden Star, similar to that of a volcano, vanished, along with the Cosmic Rainbow Light and the twisted space.
The phoenix silhouette in the starry sky also dimmed, and after its light dissipated, a white dove emerged and fluttered down from the sky, landing perfectly in Lin Shen's outstretched palm.
Lin Shen cradled Fei Zai, inspecting him from left to right. The creature seemed the same as before, without any apparent change.
"Fei Zai, what level are you exactly?" Lin Shen asked, eyeing Fei Zai.
Fei Zai acted as if he couldn't understand a word Lin Shen was saying and simply nuzzled his little head against Lin Shen's palm.
"Here we go with this act again, acting cute won't work on me. Off you go to kill some monsters, we don't keep freeloaders, not even idle birds," Lin Shen said, picking up Fei Zai and heading toward the den of the Vajra Bull. From a distance, he spotted a Vajra Bull and tossed Fei Zai toward it.
However, Fei Zai flapped its wings in mid-air, circled around, and flew back toward Lin Shen, landing on his shoulder, then burrowed into his backpack.
"Sigh, why did I end up raising such a lazy thing," Lin Shen muttered dejectedly. Still, he figured if he could, he would also avoid fighting and leveling up, preferring to buy everything instead. It was hard to blame Fei Zai.
Knowing that the creature had strength, Lin Shen decided that if Fei Zai didn't put in any effort in future troubles, he'd just throw it like a meat bomb.
The Contrarian continued digesting and reincarnating the Spirit Base. With so much Ascension Liquid and Spirit Bases at his disposal, Lin Shen was too lazy to kill more Vajra Bulls. Instead, he waited for nightfall to explore the Vajra Bull den and see what kind of metal forging was happening.
Unable to return before his body had recovered, he found a nearby spot and practiced Shrimp Soldiers and Crab Generals and Thousand Men's Pointer.
Thousand Men's Pointer was the complete or upgraded version of Demon Heart Finger. With the foundation of Demon Heart Finger, Lin Shen found it relatively easy to get started.
Demon Heart Finger was all about unpredictable deceit and trickery, fooling others.
Thousand Men's Pointer, on the other hand, was even sneakier. The path of illusion was just a basic requirement; further practice led to an intangible and invisible level of expertise. The skill didn't let you see it coming, and you wouldn't know how you got hit.
This Finger Skill truly suited Lin Shen's tastes. He thought to himself, "If I could combine the long-range Fist Power of Twenty-Eight Fists with Thousand Men's Pointer, releasing intangible and invisible finger force, striking unseen enemies from a distance, and using Acupoint Sealing without anyone noticing, that would be so cool."
Lin Shen practiced the Shrimp Soldiers and Crab Generals over and over, shifting his steps and springing backward, keeping his hands busy practicing various skills of Thousand Men's Pointer. His moves became more ethereal, and the wind from his finger strikes grew weaker and weaker.
However, merging the fierce Fist Power of Twenty-Eight Fists with Thousand Men's Pointer proved impossible; one was aggressive, the other soft, and the two extremes simply could not be merged.
After practicing for a while and resting for half a day, Lin Shen finally made it to nightfall and stealthily approached the den of the Vajra Bull again.
Now with previous experience, Lin Shen sped up his pace and quickly arrived at the red Vajra Bull's iron-forging cave.
Lin Shen found an angle out of the red Vajra Bull's view and quietly flew into the cave.
The red Vajra Bull seemed to sense something, turned its head to look, but saw nothing. It then turned back and continued to forge metal materials.
Lin Shen moved like a wandering spirit, using the movement technique Yun had taught him to consistently stay out of the red Vajra Bull's line of sight.
Luckily, the red Vajra Bull was focused on forging iron and didn't pay attention to anything else. Lin Shen took this opportunity to sneak into a passage and followed it inward.
The temperature inside the cave suddenly rose significantly, and it was also high within the passage. Lin Shen guessed that this was probably why the Vajra Bull didn't lose their mobility here.
```
The passages inside were interconnected in all directions, unlike the outside where there was only a single path, fortunately, there were the ruts of a cart on the ground, which must have been left behind by the countless years of friction between cart wheels and the metallic ground.
After walking for not so long, Lin Shen spotted a Golden Bull pulling a cart and quickly found a hidden trail to take cover. It was only after the Golden Bull passed that he emerged and continued to follow the wheel tracks deeper inside.
Soon, Lin Shen arrived at another cavern where, just as before, there was a red Vajra Bull forged of iron and a blue pillar of fire. There were no telling how many such caverns were inside the nest of Vajra diamonds.
Thankfully, there weren't many Vajra Bulls here; it seemed that most of them were in the caves outside. Inside, there were only the red Vajra Bulls forged of iron and the Metal Oxen collecting forging materials, and their numbers were relatively few.
As he walked, Lin Shen left markings on the cave walls. He couldn't remember such a complex route, and it wouldn't be good if he got lost.
After passing through several iron-forging caverns, the journey was relatively safe; he just needed to stay out of the red Metal Oxen's line of sight to keep moving forward.
Besides the cart he encountered at the beginning, he didn't come across any more carts afterward.
While keeping track of time, Lin Shen explored carefully. This place truly resembled a giant labyrinth. If there weren't any cart tracks, he wouldn't have known where to go.
"Junk... all junk..." Lin Shen was walking when he suddenly heard a human voice up ahead.
"There's someone here!" Lin Shen was startled. He had never expected to find someone else here.
The Vajra Bulls were clearly not pets but wild creatures. How could a human survive in the dens of so many wild Vajra Bulls?
Moreover, that person seemed to make no effort to be quiet; their curses echoed through the cave, nearly bursting Lin Shen's eardrums.
Listening closely, he realized the voice wasn't coming from the direction of the cart tracks. After a moment of contemplation, Lin Shen decided to check out the passage from where the voice was coming.
With the Inheritance Fan in hand and hugging the cave wall, he moved carefully forward. After turning two corners, he saw that the passage ended in another cavern.
From a distance, Lin Shen could only see the rocky walls of the cavern. He guessed that this passage was not located beneath the cavern but possibly in the middle or top part.
Lin Shen lay on the ground and crawled toward the entrance of the passage, still hearing the person's curses all the while.
Occasionally, he could also hear the sound of metal clashing, though it sounded less like forging and more like the noise of metal being broken.
Eventually, he made it to the end of the passage and indeed found that it was situated near the top of the cavern, almost reaching the ceiling.
Peeking stealthily into the cavern, once Lin Shen got a clear view of the interior, his face was a picture of astonishment.
Inside the cavern, there was a huge furnace with blue flames rising within, melting various metal blocks.
Next to that furnace, there stood a black workbench with various casting tools laid out—tools that were clearly used by intelligent beings.
Beside that workbench, a robust Celestial with his upper body bare, muscles bulging, standing over two meters tall, and with Angel's Wings on his back, was holding a red blade and cursing away.
"A Celestial? There's a Celestial here?" Lin Shen's astonishment grew even stronger.
