Chapter 621: Chapter 615: Welcome Gift

If Finn Lewis had run a search and then quickly brought out large amounts of precious metals, he didn’t know what Jasmine Davis would think, but he was sure she would associate him with something terrible. He didn’t want to take that risk so he made sure to leave no evidence behind.

Once in the Heritage System, he could seize any opportunity to perform a search at random places, such as publicly held facilities, without being afraid of leaving any traces.

However, Lewis didn’t expect to hear relevant information here.

“Yes, the asteroid belt here is said to be not naturally formed but resulted from the extraction of the Roberts Coin mines. It is said that there were several planets here before, and now only one is left – the Death Star. As the Roberts Coin mines in the entire Heritage System are decreasing, before finding suitable mining sites, there are still many adventurers trying to find overlooked Roberts Coin mines in the asteroids,” Montogomery Tian, a competent guide, full of information despite his young age, explained.

“Oh, I wonder if you can buy Roberts Coin mines on this Death Star?” Lewis asked casually.

“If you insist on buying, yes, you can find unrefined Roberts Coin ore here. However, refined Roberts Coin ore is monitored closely by the royal families and the inspection bureau. It is very precious, a kilo can be sold at 7 million star credits in the black market, and even the official purchase price is 5 million star credits per kilogram.” Tian said, glancing at Lewis attentively before continuing.

Lewis’ face turned odd, although he did not know if there was anything more valuable than Roberts Coin, but it was undoubtedly one of the most valuable, especially as he knew the value of star credits. Following the exchange rate of star credits and the currencies owned by the nine royal family names being 1:100, the purchasing power of the royal families in their respective star-regions was equivalent to the federal coin in the North Federation.

From this comparison, it is clear how strong the purchasing power of star credits is. But even such a strong purchasing power means the official purchase price must reach 5 million star credits per kilogram! And if there was such a thing here, the option given by Zero was a warehouse, how big that warehouse was…Lewis had no idea, but it probably wouldn’t be just a few kilograms, would it? Perhaps it should be described in tons?

Lewis suddenly felt as if innumerable bills were flying towards him. A large spaceship costs only two to three hundred thousand, while a kilogram of Roberts Coin is worth 5 million star credits. This could buy several such ships, or even a large warship or two.

The value was just too high. Lewis thought for a while, then decided to choose Roberts Coin.

“Ah, I see.” Lewis nodded with a smile. He didn’t wander on this topic anymore. As Montgomery Tian spoke, the spaceship quickly entered the atmosphere and headed towards a large city below. From the air, the entire city was extraordinarily beautiful. If one were to experience this city and planet only from the ship, you would never imagine that it could be a paradise for the deceased!

It was entirely different from what Lewis had imagined. He thought it would be rough and messy here, but it obviously wasn’t.

The buildings in the city, though of varied heights, were very appealing. From the air, one could see that the city’s area is enormous, much larger than any Earth city, even by Lewis’s estimation, almost the size of a small province in the Flame Nation.

On such a planet, the population would definitely be densely settled. Although the living conditions might be chaotic, the transportation is highly developed. Everyone has rapid magnetic levitation cars, similar to flying. This vast city could be crossed in a few tens of minutes with no traffic accident expected.

As the spaceship landed, Tian lowered his voice and spoke, “Sir, though the security environment here is much better than other places, most of the people here hold significant power on the Death Star. So, if you can avoid confrontations, please do so.”

“I understand.” Lewis nodded with a smile, “Thank you.”

“Don’t mention it, it’s my duty.” Tian showed a shy smile. As soon as the spaceship landed, he immediately stood up and walked outside, speaking as he went, “Sir, please follow me. We will stay at one of the best hotels here, the Green Star Hotel, what do you think?”

“Okay.” Lewis replied with a nod.

Tian nodded in response and quickly led Lewis and his group out of the spaceship. The setting was similar to an airport on Earth, with a dedicated exit. After exiting, you could take a magnetic levitation car to your destination.

Lewis and his group followed the crowd to the exit. There were many people here, and many seemed to be first-timers, gazing at their surroundings. The situation was fine when they were on board the spaceship, but once they stepped into the terminal, they found it a bit chaotic.

This was a sign of systemic issues. Before Lewis had time to observe his surroundings, a commotion suddenly erupted in the distance followed by a woman’s piercing scream, and the terminal instantly fell into chaos.

However, this chaos was different. If something like this happened in domestic airports, panic would spread among the people. But here, though there was confusion, most people just raised their heads, found the source of the commotion, and stepped aside.

In an instant, a path and a large space cleared in the crowded terminal. Lewis had just arrived and had no idea what had happened, but now he saw it. In front of him, five menacing men were chasing a scantily clad woman.

The woman was running towards Lewis while pleading for help from the people nearby. “Sir, sir, we should step aside. Let’s not get involved. Such incidents happen here several times a day.” Seeing Lewis standing there, Tian anxiously spoke out.
