Chapter 253: Continous Journey, Lifeform Rank Up Process
Lilith returned safe and sound, making everyone sigh with relief, even Lily.
Even though she had blind confidence in Lilith in a way, the worry wouldn't just go away because of that.
Erix took her to an empty room in the house and had a loving session for three whole hours since Lilith was not one to go down easy.
They truly had a passionate battle in Lilith's domain for three hours to prevent the house from getting destroyed.
…
In the next few days, everyone just farmed monsters in the sea.
Lilith had to dive far and deep to find Empyrean-order monsters to kill, but she didn't necessarily need to kill monsters to level up.
She was not a 'normal' living being influenced and bestowed blessing by Mystic Root.
Lilith had broken the limits on her existence and exited from Mystic Root's influence. Instead, she used it in her way rather than getting bestowed like others.
Everyone could and had to do that eventually, but Lilith did it earlier, granting her several benefits and drawbacks. Naturally, the benefits outweighed the drawbacks due to her powers and capabilities, making drawbacks irrelevant due to the gains.
However, If Rin, Erix, and Lily followed suit and exited from Mystic Root's influential blessing, they would get more drawbacks than benefits. This was the reason why Lilith was not teaching them about it.
Furthermore, the first requirement to achieve a limit-break on existence was to awaken the soul.
During their stay on this island, Rin, Erix, and Lily mainly focused on farming monsters as they leveled up and fulfilled other conditions.
Erix's class was X-rank. Hence, he needed more experience, A.K.A Royal-order monsters to hunt, to level up his class.
After staying in this sea abundant with monsters for five days and constantly hunting them, all of them made significant progress.
Rin and Erix reached the maximum level in the Noble-order rank, reaching level 200.
Erix's class also reached level 3, and he gained four skill creation attempts—two per level.
Rin only got one skill-creation attempt per level, but she had already gotten ten by leveling her previously ranked class to max and her class reached level 6.
Naturally, they saved all these attempts as they only wanted to use them after entering Royal-order rank.
Their combat prowess was further refined due to constant battling for five days against exotic monsters, giving them ideas and inspiration.
After five days, the group left for their next destination—Langriss Woodland.
However, they had to stop at two places before reaching Langriss Woodland.
First stop, Hellion's Underworld Battlefield.
Much like the Spada Valley, this place was actually connected to an area of Hell.
Hell was real, nay. Hells were real, but unlike the myths, they were actually worlds where demons, devils, and such races thrived.
It was the same with Heavens as Angels, Devas, Apsaras, and such races thrived in those worlds called Heavens.
As those races in such powerful worlds were inherently powerful, they had tendencies to look down on normal races that came after them, but these tendencies were only present in ignorant and lower-inhabitants of Hells and Heavens.
Mystic Root would also choose them in its area of influence and pit them against others to create a dog-eat-dog world and push everyone onto the path of power and evolution—as per its origin and purpose of existence in the Grand Primal Cosmos.
The Five Abyss Worlds were also its part, and this Hellion's Underworld Battlefield was part of one of the prominent Hells where a large battle with Royal-order lifeforms as mere foot-soldiers had occurred.
This place was also a power-spot and a stop in Granny May's route.
People could enter there despite the risks, and if they managed to kill the Specters of the Past that abyss produced with its power, they could gain rewards based on the specters they killed.
The most common reward was memories of powers that the owner of those specters wielded in their lives, and sometimes, one could gain items that those specters wielded.
The group stayed in this place for five days as it was a great place to gain an abundance of knowledge rather than items.
The next stop was relatively peaceful, but to acquire that peace, they had to fight for the spots.
It was Skyfortress Jungle.
In this jungle were magical trees like that fat tree they had encountered in Spada Valley.
These magical trees could aid people in meditation and, most importantly, enrich and enable one's Spirit.
In short, as long as one stayed in this jungle, people would get a temporary boost in all fundamentals related to their Spirit stat!
It was only temporary, but it was important for Rin and Erix. Hence, they were here.
The group didn't take long to control one of the best and most enriched trees in the jungle after kicking out another group that was occupying them.
"Alright, this is it."
Lilith sat on the chair, leaned back, and smiled at Rin and Erix. "Sit down cross-legged and stretch out your Spirit Sense."
"It's time," Lily smiled. "Lady Lilith, I'll go and gather resources with Reinala and Maleina."
Lilith nodded, "Stay cautious and keep your comm card active."
The trio left while Rin and Erix used their Spiritual Mystic Eyes, connecting them to Lilith's spirit sense as she started guiding them.
The duo had level 200, and it was time for them to prepare for rank-up! The Magic Flower in their origin region had completely bloomed upon reaching level 200, so it was time to enter the next lifeform rank.
Royal-order!
To enter the Royal-order rank, one must nurture their Magic Flower, which was the symbol and source of the Noble-order lifeform.
Nurting that Magic Flower would cause it to bear a Magic Fruit. Afterward, one had to absorb this fruit and glean insights from it to create Arcane Spirit Pond.
Successfully forming the Arcane Spirit Pond would complete the lifeform evolution from the Noble-order to the Royal-order.
"Let's begin. The stronger the spirit power, the faster the nurturement. Focus and start infusing your Spirit force into your Magic Flower," Lilith said.
Rin and Erix had also gotten the rank-up quest, and it had similar steps that Lilith had explained to them.
"You have to infuse your Spirit force carefully, slowly, and evenly. If you do it recklessly, your Magic Flower will crack, and you'll have to spend time to repair it."
"The faster you two are done nurturing your Magic Flower and making it bear fruit, the faster we will leave this place and go to our next destination."
'This place has boosted all aspects of our Spirit, so it wouldn't take much time,' Erix observed his and Rin's progress while also infusing Spirit force into his Magic Flower.
' Yeah. Also, Lilith, how long will it take if we don't make any mistakes?' Rin asked.
'One day,' Lilith answered. 'Our goal is just until you two manage to bear fruit and absorb it. Gaining insights and forming Arcane Spirit Pond will take time, so you'll do that gradually by meditating daily about it.'
'Langriss Woodland is also where the Elven community lives, so Erix will have to find a sexy and powerful elf with Life-attributed bloodline for him,' Lilith added with a chuckle.
Erix wryly smiled. 'Alright, let's focus on back on the practice. Finding someone like that is for later.'
'Don't be disheartened, babe,' Rin laughed upon hearing his tone. 'I'm sure there will be someone we can click with.'
'Also, we are talking about Elves! Tsk, they are sure to be beautiful like that Zenia.'
Erix was tempted if he only considered his lust, but his lust was not a singular focus, which was also why he wasn't enjoying his activities with Reinala and Maleina. He just couldn't be that passionate with them and only did that for his purpose to balance his source.
