Chapter 275: XVI Cosmic Inferno
Chapter 275: XVI Cosmic Inferno
Earth 2150, within a silver-white temple build over the ocean. Elijah brought all the members of the time clan and a few others under the lead of Void Time, Golden Time and the other enforcers.
The Trinity Temple of his was built over the same place where the black vortex appeared on the other side, and no technology on earth is capable of detecting it, in other words, it was the best place to bring this army.
While bringing this many people has caused some sort of havoc, with so many heavily-armed troops appearing all around the earth, luckily this was something that could be easily avoided by using a simple illusion spell in large scale.
Within the hallways, Elijah walked over the a bright blue dot in the air. "I'm sorry brother, but my realm is in danger. I will soon bring them to the other side."
The blue dot's light wavered before its voice sounded in Elijah's head. "Don't worry, I'm in your debt. I may be a transcendent, but I'm not omnipotent, my kin would have ended long ago if it wasn't for the benefactor."
"I see..." Elijah could see it wasn't lying, and while his eyes would be able to see what the voice meant by "debt", sometimes it is better to wait and experience for himself when it was the time.
They continued chatting for about an hour before the light dot left. Elijah was staring intensely at his phone, waiting for something. He was waiting for the signal from Yawen before he could start the internal attack.
"E-Elija... We've arrived... The border..." Despite the interference and stuttering, Elijah could slightly hear Yawen's voice in his mind. It was the recording he left to Yawen so she could send him when it was time to start.
"So it's time." Heading to the hundreds of thousands waiting within the temple's walls, Elijah roared to the soldiers and cultivators bellow. "Brothers and Sisters, immortal warriors and mighty gods who had been exiled from their birthplace, Raise your weapons! Because now we shall take what is rightfully ours..."
Raising his arms, a huge crown grew on his helmet, embedded with twelve crystals, the runic patterns extended and connected with the crown when a faint image appeared behind him, a bronze clock, but with Runes in the place of hours.
This was the supreme Origin of Time's True Form, a form that could only be acquired when one has truly mastered a supreme origin just like how an origin would acquire a runic shape when it reaches the max level.
Under the helmet, Elijah's were fully golden with the activation of the Eye of Time. His presence was serene and light as if he wasn't even there. Staring at the three runes of Body, Soul and Energy, he slashed the air in two, opening a huge dimensional rift.
........
Chaotic Realm, border of the cosmic realm.
Yawen and the allied forces of the abyss had finally arrived on the wall arround the cosmic realm. The hundreds of fighter jets, the planet sized battleships, prepared to surround the sphere. Inside the silver cruiser within the legion of warships, Yawen observed the movement of the troops when Yali came in the bridge.
"Sis, how is it. Did you send the signal to Elijah?"
With her hands closed, she stared at the many ships before revealing a pile of dust on her hand. "Yes. He must be invading Midgard at any moment. Luna, Keith, transmits my voice to everyone else."
"Yes, ma'am!" Luna and Keith swiftly replied before activating the voice transmission to the other warships.
"The king has entered the castle. Fire at will!"
At the sound of her voice all the former Immortals, gods, divine beasts and mystical creatures as well as the many warships unleashed a massive wave of energy towards the brightest jewel in the void.
Powerful celestial grade spells summoned with the help of Origin, seven towering purple swords appeared above the cosmic realm. Thousands and Thousands of mortals within the warships chanted in unison, creating a powerful and unparalleled voice, the origins in their hearts shone brightly in resonance as a seven armored titans appearing before the weapons.
12-Rank Forbidden Spell: Cosmic Inferno!
The seven Titanic knights aimed the tips of their swords forward before it turned pale violet flames that were shot down on the sphere like a rain of fire.
Thud! Thud! Bang!
The Waship's lasers and anti-matter cannons smashed on the layers of protecting energy when the silver layer of energy turned into a dark fluid, from where numerous hideous looking hands emerged. With bodies made of rotten meat and a putrid smell that could knock others, even in the chaotic space, separated by several layers of metal were the monstrous red-eyed humanoid creatures with several tentacles growing on their backs.
Forming a meat shield they stood in front of the violet flames and laser cannons receiving all the damage in place of the barrier in itself.
"Holy shit!"
"What in the hell is that!"
Staring in the eyes of these creatures, the allied forces were unsure about what to do. They all had a bad premonition when they saw these humanoid creatures standing there, taking in all the damage.
Painful shrieks and yelling were heard from far as the creatures were turned into dust on a large scale. With each creature falling, more would rise and block anything on their way.
Yawen knew this must be something planned by the World King, but she wasn't sure what to do. These weren't primal beasts, the way they moved and even the feeling they gave is fundamentally different to the mindless prime beasts, those creatures had emotions in their red eyes and seemed to be going through great pain.
Before she could even make a decision, the thousands Spellcasters were chanting once again. This time a four white magical circle in each direction of the cosmic realm.
12-Rank Forbidden Spell: Soul Storm!
"No, don't! It's a trap!" Yawen tried to stop them when she realized something, but it was too late. When the massive spiritual storm forming from the minds of all the cultivators inside the ships were fully unleashed against the creatures that, without any defense against spiritual attacks, had their heads shattered into a bloody mess, but at the same time a strange force within their bodies was awoken, reflecting all the damage back to them.
"Shit."
Aina was scared seeing the images from the interior of other ships were most Spellcasters had their heads blown just like the beasts and then have their bodies burnt by violet flames that came out of nowhere.
