Chapter 52 Childhood Memories
Chapter 52 Childhood Memories
While the Wudang sect was busy planning the destruction of the Golden Star sect, in the living room, Long Tian and Liu Qian were engaged in a heartfelt conversation.
They both sat together on the sofa, gazing at childhood photos spread out before them.
Numerous images from their younger days captured Long Tian and Liu Qian playing together.
"I still can't believe it. Time truly flies by, and before we know it, we've both grown into adults," Liu Qian mused, her voice tinged with nostalgia.
Long Tian merely smiled, folding one photo after another. He was somewhat impressed; even as a child, he looked handsome, clearly inheriting strong genes from his father.
"Look, this is from our vacation at Feixi Beach," Liu Qian pointed to a photo where she and Long Tian were building a sandcastle.
"I remember nearly drowning back then, fortunately, you rescued me," she added, smiling as she reminisced.
"Well, I remember that moment vividly; your mother was really panicked," Long Tian responded, a smile playing on his lips.
Liu Qian was genuinely enjoying her time with Long Tian. Conversing with him felt timeless, especially since he was her childhood friend, giving her a comforting wave of nostalgia.
At this moment, Long Tian shuffled through more photos, revealing images of themselves together during their middle school years.
Long Tian appeared quite rebellious, with blonde hair and a mischievous grin. In contrast, Liu Qian looked like a well-behaved girl with a gentle smile.
He rubbed his forehead, "Ugh, this time... I was really a bad kid and often ran away from home, truly a rough period," he confessed.
"Well, rough times breed awareness to become better, right?" Liu Qian responded.
"You're right, I'm truly embarrassed recalling those days," Long Tian replied.
Liu Qian smiled, suddenly noticing another middle school photo. She quickly picked it up, "Look, another middle school moment, I..." Her voice trailed off as she looked at the photo, Long Tian also fell silent.
It was a photo of them kissing.
She immediately set the photo aside, her cheeks turning red. It was their first kiss.
"Well, that's quite a time, isn't it?" Long Tian smiled.
"Ugh, I'm so embarrassed," Liu Qian blushed, covering her face with a pillow.
Long Tian just chuckled and shook his head, continuing to look through more photos.
But at this moment, the tranquil atmosphere was shattered by the sound of an explosion.
Boom!
Long Tian and Liu Qian jumped in surprise at the explosion's sound. They quickly realized something was wrong, "Father," Liu Qian realized.
She hurriedly headed towards the alchemical lab, with Long Tian following behind.
As they walked, a foul smell and thick black smoke greeted them within the room.
Liu Qian opened the door, and the thicker smoke embraced her. However, her concern outweighed the smoke, and she stepped inside.
Long Tian, on the other hand, waved his hand, dispersing the black smoke from the room. He entered as well.
"Finally, hahahaha!" Liu Hai's hearty laughter resonated in the room.
Liu Qian, who was worried, was now surprised by her father's laughter.
Long Tian waved his hand, guiding the black smoke out of sight, and there stood Liu Hai, holding a large bottle filled with a golden-hued potion.
A grin slowly spread across his face as he looked at the golden color of the potion. It was exactly the same as in the original plot, the evolution potion that Qin Chen consumed.
"So, did you succeed, Uncle Liu?" he asked casually.
"Haha, of course. The ingredients you provided truly pushed my alchemical skills to the limit. I extracted each part of those ingredients, processed them, and voila, this potion," Liu Hai said proudly.
"Well, then it was the right choice to come here," Long Tian responded.
"Here, the ultimate prize for you," Liu Hai said, handing the potion to Long Tian.
Long Tian accepted the potion and examined it, somewhat surprised by its large size. It was as big as a large beer glass filled to the brim. He recalled from the original plot that Qin Chen received a much smaller potion.
He then turned his gaze back to Liu Hai. "You really don't want me to compensate you, Uncle Liu? I could give you a treasure, a powerful technique, anything you want
—just mention it, and I'll give it to you," he said.
Liu Hai smiled and patted Long Tian's shoulder. "Didn't I tell you before? I don't want anything," he said.
Long Tian smiled back, "Truly a blessing to know you, Uncle Liu. But it really doesn't feel right if I accept this for free. Honestly, Uncle Liu, this potion won't be of any use to you, but it will be incredibly useful to Liu Qian. So, I'll give her a portion," he said.
"Well, that's a good idea. Besides, I'm already old; I don't need a potion like this," Liu Hai responded.
Long Tian nodded and took out a small glass from his spatial ring, pouring a small portion of the evolution potion.
"Here, Liu Qian," he said, handing her the glass.
"Long Tian, are you sure about giving this to me? The ingredients are extremely rare, and this is definitely not an ordinary potion. You could keep it for yourself if you want," Liu Qian said.
"Don't worry, there's plenty of potion left; it's more than enough," Long Tian replied, smiling.
"Thank you, then," Liu Qian said sincerely, accepting the glass.
Long Tian suddenly leaned in and whispered, "Anyway, drink it when you're naked in the bathroom."
"What? Why?" Liu Qian asked, surprised, her cheeks turning pink.
"Well, at least drink it when you're alone and there's no one around," Long Tian answered.
Liu Qian wasn't entirely sure, but she nodded, "Alright."
Long Tian nodded as well and stored the vial of evolution potion in his spatial ring.
"Alright, it's getting late. Uncle Liu, I'll take my leave," he said.
"Okay, feel free to come by anytime; I'll be sure to welcome you. Unfortunately, my wife isn't here; she's still at her company," Liu Hai said.
Long Tian nodded, "Alright, I'll go now," he said.
"I'll walk you to the gate," Liu Qian immediately offered.
With that, the two of them left Liu Hai alone in the room.
Liu Hai smiled as he watched the two young people. Normally, he was quite strict with his daughter, often scolding her when she wanted to go out at night.
But it was different with Long Tian. Long Tian was incredibly talented, good-looking, had a great personality, and came from the Long family, clearly having a bright future ahead.
"Well, I should clean up this mess," he said and began tidying up his alchemical lab.

The soft moonlight added beauty to the night, accompanied by the twinkling stars.
Long Tian drove his car slowly, the top of his car open, allowing him to clearly see the stars.
He could feel the tranquility and strong focus just by looking at the stars. This was one of the abilities of the Thousand Stars Training Method.
"Ahh~ I feel so refreshed, it's like all my senses are heightened under the starlight," Long Tian exclaimed.
He then closed his eyes, letting his perception grow even stronger without the aid of his cultivation base.
His car accelerated, smoothly overtaking several other drivers. He seemed to sense everything even with his eyes closed.
But not long after, he opened his eyes again, "Alright, time to head to the villa and evolve!"
With that, he sped up, heading towards his villa.
