Tales Of The Mighty Dragonair

Chapter 1059 The End Of The Novel - Part 10

As they reached such a desperate situation, it seemed like they received the order and moved towards each other. It seemed like the grandmaster mage of the dark angel clan saw through Gege's scheme.

Divide and conquer; this was Gege's simple and yet deadly tactic here. As she managed to kill forty thousand mages in such a short time, there was another threat of attacking the far away two groups of mages and exterminating them.

Dealing with twenty thousand mages was, for sure, much easier than dealing with eighty thousand, or even forty thousand.

But Gege would never let such a chance slip by her clutches. After all she learnt from the best, from Arthur.

"Very good," Arthur commended in pure content and satisfaction when he saw many portals appearing around one group of those mages. The portals seemed to engulf the entire group of mages, even taking in many of them inside the original world.

Originals appeared like hungry wolves and slammed heavily against the enemy without any warning. However it seemed like the enemy had their own orders; run and never look back, run and never stop, run like your life depended on it.

And frankly speaking, their lives really depended on it!

If any of them paused for even one second, or tried to help a comrade, they would be attacked next and be killed without any suspense or surprise.

Despite these orders, all the mages came from many dark clans. They knew many among themselves, so it wasn't easy for them to abandon their comrades, not even in the face of death.

Seeing this, Arthur realized something. Not all the dark clan mages were cold hearted, selfish, or even twisted in soul, mind, and heart like the grandmaster mage of the dark angel clan.

But even if he realized this, he would never show any mercy, not towards his enemy. As the chase continued, more mages were killed either by the reach of the originals or by the selfless help that came from many mages.

With those mages' help, the moving speed of the original army was delayed for a bit. It was a small delay, but it gave others valuable time to get over this chase and reach their mates in long and stressful ten minutes.

Gege wasn't impulsive. As she got her goal from this clash, she recalled all the originals once the two groups of enemies merged together.

Yet after all this, instead of the majestic looking eighty thousand high end mages, the enemy was left with a weak and devastated line up of almost thirty thousand.

And that wasn't the end of misery for them.

'They are here!'

Just less than half an hour from calling back the originals and stopping that attack over the enemy, Gege's voice rang with extreme excitement and pride.

Arthur didn't need to ask about the identity of those who came, they were his long awaited reinforcements.

"Great job! Send them towards those thirty thousand mages, let us finish this battle once and for all," Arthur calmly said. In his eyes, this war had already come to its dying moments.

And it was his crushing victory again.

Gege opened a large number of portals a few hundreds of meters away from the thirty thousand mages. They mistook this for the originals who killed their friends and comrades.

The look on their faces told about how prepared and enraged they were for meeting up the originals. However instead of the tens of thousands of originals whom they waited for, hundreds of thousands of mages, mechas, originals, and even dragons appeared surrounding them.

Arthur's forces appeared at last, and they came in a big momentum and scary atmosphere.

"Hahaha, you wanted to take a bit off me? Who said you can? Hahaha!" reaching this point, Arthur raised his head high and mocked the sworn enemy of his.

"Don't feel so full of yourself, I've got a good piece of news just now," the sound of the grandmaster looked happy, but something untold was in his tone.

Without the need to say it, this war was his utter loss. Nothing he would say would change this fact, or change the current celebrative happy mood of Arthur.

"I've just received the news, you enraged some people you shouldn't. Six mighty guardians moved and killed all the people related to you in your world. Your clansmen, your academy, even any friends or clans you ever dealt with; they are all gone."

"What the hell…?!!" Arthur was shocked, truly and utterly shocked this time. He couldn't help but think back to the people he left behind in his original world. They were all dead? This came as a strong blow, even to someone who didn't attach himself deeply with anyone.

"Not only that," the laughs of the grandmaster came when he felt the change in Arthur's mood, "even those two chicks taken from you from there, they were also killed. No, you are left alone. Go, cry and weep, but you have no one to blame but yourself."

Arthur clenched his fists and his body trembled out of pure rage. "I'm not going to do any of that, but I'll be generous and tell you what I'm going to do. I'll go back, unify ten worlds and then come to find all of you in the higher realms."

Arthur's voice wasn't loud, but it carried a unique taste of brutality and viciousness. "Make sure to take good care of your necks, as I'll be the one to cleavage your heads and roll them all over the ground."

"F*ck you!!!" This time the shout that came from the grandmaster of the dark angel clan showed how much defeated he was. Then Arthur felt as if something was missed from this world, as if someone just vanished and left here.

And Arthur just stood in silence, while not knowing how to control his own rage.

'The best revenge will be through your ascension,' the golden dragon said.

'Ding! You shouldn't feel this bitter and sad. Their sacrifices won't go in vain,' the system tried to console him.

'And you aren't all alone like that bastard said, you have the three of us, have your friends and generals, and have your sect and empire,' Gege also participated in their effort to console him.
