Chapter 232 - A DEMAND FOR PROOF!
PRECAP
Pulling the dress down, he chained his zipper up. She licked her lips as she felt them dry and before he could say anything, she stormed out of the empty storage room in the flash of the second. He followed her and tried to call her back.
"Madison??"
But she kept walking away. By now, even he was annoyed and irritated by her behaviour....the way she was treating him.
Instead of going after her, he decided to give her some time and clear her head. She was of course not in the right state of her mind at this point...or even before and during their act of shame.

He was beyond furious when she stormed out of the house, closing the door on his face like that.
But then he tired to clam himself down knowing her state...the condition she was in at the present moment.
'Pregnant women have constant mood swings and no one should mess with her."
The line of advice of Dos and Dont's! read in the Pregnancy Guide file he had downloaded in his iPhone.
"Fuck!!!"
He cursed, throwing the phone against the wall, getting irritated.
How the hell, was he going to put sense in her stubborn head if he did not confront her just because she was pregnant and she was having mood swings??
A knock on the door made him look back at the front door. For once, he thought, she must have been back to get something or perhaps, she had realised that she committed a mistake?
He quickly opened the door and saw that one person, he was never looking forward to ever see in this life.
There stood, Jessica, with arms crossed against her chest, giving him that judgemental look...the one he had felt so insecure of in the morning.
"What the hell are you doing here??
For one, I know Tinsley had gone to her job...what is your work here??"
The old woman narrowed her eyes at him, stepping forward as Kian took a step backwards.
There was a high probability that if he tried to outsmart this old woman, or ended up hurting her ego in any possible way with his crude, nonchalant replies, she would end up calling the neighborhood for help and shit would go only downhill from since there.
"Are you a thief??"
Jessica suspected and when no clear answer came from his mouth, she held onto his wrist.
Kian was taken aback as she started to check his shirt pockets, pants pockets, thinking he had stolen something from the house.
"What the hell you are doing??? Touching me, old woman!!!"
Kian angrily yelled and tried to push the woman off of him. Jessica was pushed off from him. He was a strong, muscular, tall man. She had to raise her head up high to look at him and talk.
"I will call the police right now and also Joana..."
Before Jessica could scream the names out, Kian held her back, enclosing her mouth with his hand and closed the door first, locking it.
Jessica tried to protest. She was scared of her life at the moment. It was not how Kian had ever thought he would be handling an old woman like that in his life.
But here, in a situation like this, he had no choice. There would be a huge problem, if he had called upon anyone from the neighborhood or involved the police...which in turn would have involved the media and the whole thing would have turned into a mess...not to mention, his chances, with his wife would have gone down the drain long ago.
"I m not going to harm you, dammnit!!!"
Kian said and made Jessica sit on the sofa. He raised his hands up to show her he was not going to hurt her in any way.
"Who are you??"
Jessica voiced out, scared for the first time. She did not dare move from her position.
Kian thought for a while...what should be do?? Should he tell the truth??
He was not leaving Tinsley for the coming months or the next week until she gave in to go back home with him.
And this old woman, here was her regular visitor. Of course, if not now but later, she was going to have her fair share of suspicions and what not.
Old women were known to be nosey and suspicious about everything. He closed his eyes, thinking more about the situation.
"I m her husband!"
"What??"
Jessica spat out, not being able to believe what her ears were hearing to. There was no way...was it??
"I m Tinsley's husband!"
He stated clearly. He could see it in her eyes, that she was having a hard time taking his words as words. Of course...she was not going to believe him...after what he did a while ago.
"I know it is hard to believe...but we had a fight and she left me...I was searching for her all these months because someone helped her in hiding her identity...now that I know, I m back here to take her with me back home to Richmond."
He explained, not giving all the kind of information about why they had separatedut enough for the old lady to know and make sense of the situation.
"Say something!"
Kian requested, not knowing what was going inside that head of hers. He was so frustrated with all the drama he had been getting involved, right after the moment his jet had landed in San Francisco.
"I do not believe you..."
Jessica commented and Kian was expecting that. He took a sit on the nearby stool, tired.
"...not till you give me proof to believe your words..."
It got Kian's attention and he was quick to stand up and pick his phone up to give proofs to this old woman.
"Fine then...I m not going to hurt you, just going to sit beside you to give proof."
