Chapter 1576: Huan and the Creature(2)

Huan didn't care about the thoughts going on inside the man's head. Since he and the creature had different requirements, Huan decided to summon beasts from both pillars.

He had already joined the line at the second pillar, so he stayed in the queue. The creature would get the beast of its requirement from that pillar since it needed a companion that could help it and Huan combat-wise.

Time flew by, and after a wait of several minutes, it was his turn to summon.

He took a deep breath and pressed the button. The square screen started rotating and stopped five seconds later.

A beast familiar to him appeared on the screen, and not long after, a card appeared out of nowhere, flying into his hand.

He immediately caught it and read the details. It was an ultimate quality card with the cultivation level of peak Supreme God.

Reading the details, Huan couldn't help but feel a slight chill. He had no confidence that he would be able to survive even a few moves against the beast before waking up.

Huan wasn't the one to decide for the beast from the second pillar, so he waited for the creature's opinion.

"Summon again."

Not long after, its voice rang in his head. Huan didn't waste any time. He returned the card and pressed the button again.

The next moment, '1' appeared on top of the screen, and the square light began to rotate. Five seconds later, an unfamiliar beast appeared on the screen.

Time flew by, and the frustrated Huan took several deep breaths to calm himself down. He then pressed the switch once again.

The next moment, '10' appeared on top of the screen, and five seconds later, an unfamiliar beast appeared on the screen.

Huan couldn't help but feel a chill crawling down his spine by just looking at the beast. It wasn't the first that gave him such chills, so he wasn't confident whether the beast was the one.

The summoning cost had already become outrageous at one ultimate Sacred stone. Huan had no idea how much the chosen beast would cost, and the summoning cost alone had become a burden on his savings.

Looking at the past cards, he believed he wouldn't be able to afford the beast. However, due to repeated threats from the creature, Huan had no choice but to keep going.

Worried about his savings, Huan caught the card and focused on the details of it. His eyes widened in shock when he saw the power of the beast. When his eyes reached the price section, they almost jumped out of their sockets.

The next moment, his heart turned heavy since a bad feeling engulfed it, and soon after, the feeling turned out to be true.

"I want it!"

The creature stated with an excited expression. Looking at the details of the Eerie Wolf, it became clear that it was a beast that suited the Soul of Negativity and its owner.

"How are we going to afford it?" Huan complained upon hearing the excitement in the creature's voice.

As expected, the excitement immediately dimmed down since even the creature couldn't think of a way to bring out such a large sum of money.

"How could a Supreme God beast cost this much?" The creature complained since even a 100,000 ultimate Sacred stone was more than the lifetime savings of a Sacred King who had lived for billions of years.

"Let's leave with a beast from that pillar. Once we have enough money, we will get this beast."

Huan gave his opinion. He couldn't think of any solution to the money issue. It was too large of a sum, and he didn't have anything worth that much value even to use as collateral.

The creature immediately didn't respond since it desired the Eerie Wolf with all its heart.

Suddenly, an idea rose in its head, and it felt a pang in its heart once that idea came. But as soon as it looked at the details on the card, it became determined.

"You don't have to worry about it. I have a way to get money for the beast," The creature commented.

Instead of feeling relieved, Huan flew into a rage in his head after hearing that.

"You bitch, you are hiding a valuable item from me. I wouldn't have been in that terrible situation that day if I had money," Huan angrily complained, remembering one of the troubles that he had faced during the past decade.

"Hmph, don't think too much of yourself. I wouldn't take out that item even if you were dying."

The creature scoffed, and no matter how much Huan raged after that, it looked excitedly at the beast on the card.
