Chapter 471 468- So What If I’m Crazy?
Shiming wasn’t in a hurry as he flew over to where Mu Fan was.
Previously when Mu Fan had reached this location and realized he had found Lu Yue, he didn’t hesitate to start hacking.
Now laying around him were numerous bloody corpses of the Fire Empire Disciples. But of course, there were also disciples who came from various small Sects that were transported here with Lu Yue. A few disciples in the group Mu Fan came with had died too.
Mu Fan frowned at this sight.
Something didn’t feel right to him. He loved hacking these fuckers for what they were doing, but this type of massacre irked him.
It’s as if it was all planned.
Mu Fan didn’t know, but he could vaguely sense something was wrong.
As Mu Fan was feeling repulsed by this massacre, Shiming’s voice echoed behind him.
“Why do I always have to deal with you?”
Mu Fan slowly turned to see Shiming land not too far away from him. His eyes narrowed.
“You don’t have to worry about that for too long, once I lop off your head then you never have to deal with me.”
“You’re crazy.”
Mu Fan smiled a wicked smile.
“I’m called Mad Demon Mu Fan, are you just realizing this Shiming?”
Shiming met Mu Fan’s gaze and he saw a crazed look in them. He frowned because he knew Mu Fan was hard to deal with.
The two of them had a history that started back when they first joined the Academy.
Shiming would go out of his way to do anything to try and recruit Mu Fan to join the Ming Clan. And Mu Fan being Mu Fan would react like a madman and try to lop off his head for annoying him.
“Even now you haven’t changed. But I’m different, I’m not the same person who’s scared of a fight!”
With that yell, a terrifying aura burst from Shiming's body.
Mu Fan’s robes slowly began to flutter as he released his own aura.
Soon these two youths were covered in a layer of crimson Blade Aura.
Mu Fan held onto the hilt of his sheathed saber before his figure disappeared.
He reappeared slashing down at Shiming.
Shiming stood there and looked at Mu Fan’s sheath saber hacking toward him.
He snorted.
“What’s with that speed?”
Before his voice could fully finish, his saber suddenly left his sheath in the blink of a slash at Mu Fan’s chest.
Mu Fan’s pupils constricted and he tried to shift his body out of the way. However, Shiming's saber caught him and blood spurted from his chest.
Mu Fan immediately retreated and held his chest.
His robes were cut to reveal a wound that went from the middle of his chest and all his left shoulder blade.
Mu Fan’s eyes were flowing with murderous intent.
Shiming wasn’t aiming for his life with that strike, he was aiming to sever his left arm.
“What? Do you think I wanted to kill you? No, I want to cripple you and have you live a long agonizing life. That’s the only way you’ll regret pointing your saber at me.”
“Bastard!”
Mu Fan roared as he rushed towards Shiming, however, it was clear that Shiming was above him in each exchange.
His saber was faster than Mu Fan’s own.
There were a few times Mu Fan had to shift his left arm out of the way and have Shiming saber strike land on his body.
Soon his body was riddled with saber cuts that were leaking blood everywhere.
“I wonder what would happen first. Me lopping off your arm or you dying from blood loss. But is this really all you have? If it was that bastard at least he would give me a challenge.”
Mu Fan knew who Shiming was talking about, Yang Su.
“Don’t mention that fucker.”
Shiming grinned maliciously at Mu Fan like he had found a way to make Mu Fan suffer even more.
“I always knew you had an inferiority complex. Compared to you, I’m sure that friend of yours is at least a bit better. He isn’t better than me of course, but at least I wouldn’t feel so bored while fighting him.”
As Shiming mocked Mu Fan, Mu Fan's face morphed into a dark expression.
Suddenly, he raised his head and released a loud maniacal laugh.
It was hoarse and anyone who heard it in the middle of the night would think a lunatic was waiting right around the corner to murder them. It sent chills down the disciples in the surrounding spines when they heard it.
Mu Fan's laughter soon came to a stop and he looked at Shiming as he said.
“Great! You’ve completely and utterly made me lose it!”
BANG!
A horrifying amount of Blade Intent erupted from Mu Fan and dwarf Shiming's aura.
Shiming’s heart released a loud thud and he took a step back.
When he looked at Mu Fan he saw that he had fully drew his saber.
The saber he had always kept sheath.
Shiming’s pupils shrink and his scalp went numb when he laid eyes on it.
It was pitch black, and the power it released was something Shiming had never felt before. It felt like a monstrous beast had been laying dormant in that saber, but now that it was drawn it was free to wreak havoc in the world.
“You-What is that saber?!”
The red Blade Aura around Mu Fan swirled violently and sent the disciples in the surroundings scrambling.
It felt like the energy around Mu Fan was continuously climbing like it had no peak!
However, they could also feel that it was leading up to something, something that could kill them all if they didn’t run away immediately!
Shiming being the closest to Mu Fan could clearing feel this sensation, and his instincts were screaming at him to turn and run, but he stood grounded to where he was because of his pride.
“You ask what this saber is? Well, in truth I don’t even know myself. I just took a part of my Blade Will and infuse it into this saber. Every day and night for one and a half years I would supply it with my Blade Intent. I never stop for even a second.”
“You-You’re fucking crazy!”
Shiming had never think to do something like this. One’s Blade Will was something that once it was severely damage it was good as being crippled, one would never be able to progress in their blade comprehension or cultivation.
But this Mu Fan was a lunatic, he willingly tore apart his Blade Will to create this thing.
Mu Fan chuckled at Shiming's words.
“So what if I am crazy?”
“Haha...hahaha!”
Shiming suddenly began laughing at Mu Fan.
“You fool! I don’t even need to cripple you, you’re already fucked by damaging your own Blade Will! This saber might seem like it has no limits, but that’s just energy you stored! It will eventually run out and once it does, you’ll never progress in your cultivation again… HAHAHA!!”
Mu Fan looked at Shiming unperturbed.
“I knew that when I split my Blade Will, but right now as long as I kill you before it runs then I have no regrets.”
Shiming’s laughter got stuck in his throat and all the hair on his body stood up.
He turned and Mu Fan had somehow appeared behind him.
“You-!!”
Swoosh!
“ARGHHHH!!!”
Shiming released a blood-curdling scream as he held the stump of an arm that was gushing blood like a fountain.
Mu Fan had severed his arm before he could even react.
