The Founder of Qi Cultivation, Reincarnates?

Chapter 69 67- Killing Three Sea Expansion Realm Cultivators With The Point Of A Finger

When Xi Shen had been in one of the servant’s disguises, he had the misfortune of bumping into a group of those weasels.

One thing lead to another and they suddenly became belligerent enough to want to punish him for not following one of their orders. Of course, Xi Shen was on the run from stealing a treasure or two from the Ancestral Treasury, and he couldn’t reveal his appearance at the time so he just beat them up without much thought.

But Xi Shen had no idea these weasels had some form of pack alliance or something, so before the day was over Xi Shen had beaten up group after group of these youths. They had soon realized that a servant couldn’t have been so strong so they thought it was a Li Family member in disguise who was targeting them specifically.

The older generation of the Li Family doesn’t usually meddle in the affairs of the younger generation, especially kids who weren't cultivators yet, so this went on for far longer than it should have.

Within a day Xi Shen was attacked relentlessly, and as for why he didn’t change his appearance to avoid being noticed, that was because of Tai.

That fat bastard of a pet thought it would be funny to keep him with that appearance while preventing Little Snow from helping him.

Tired and fed up with the whole situation, Xi Shen just went all out and subjugated their entire Weasel Legion.

But it had eventually got out that it was him in disguise, though that didn’t change these weasels’ minds from seeing him as some sort of leader of their group.

Xi Shen thought the whole situation was completely ridiculous, and it didn’t help that he had gone along with it for a month or two, but quickly realize being the leader of a group called the Weasel Gang was extremely cringey.

As for the battle between Xi Shen and them, it had even received an official name, The Subjugation of the Weasel Faction.

Xi Shen was around eight back then, and he couldn’t help but become amused at his childishness despite having the mentality of a sixty-year-old man. Though if you were to compare that with the number of years a cultivator could live, that could be described as still being young.

But the standards of mortals and cultivators were just too far apart to compare them.

With his movement technique, Xi Shen eventually reached the front of his brother’s large courtyard, which had several men dressed in armor there, standing guard at the large golden gate entrance.

Xi Shen stopped his movement technique and slowly approached the gate but the guards suddenly stepped forward and stopped him.

Seeing this Xi Shen coldly looked towards them, which caused the guards to have anxious expressions under their helmets.

However, they stood firm before one of them said, “Second Prince, the Crown Prince had ordered that no one disturbs him, and even said it was a life and death issue.”

Hearing this, Xi Shen’s eye’s flickered for a brief moment before he asked, “Is my older brother the only one in there?”

One of the guards after hesitating said, “Second Prince, the Crown Prince had called for one of the elders in seclusion to help him with his cultivation mishap. We haven't seen any of the Li Clan’s elders arrive but with our meager cultivation we couldn’t have sense such a person even if they were in front of us.”

Hearing that an elder was called, a feeling of anxiousness stirred up in Li Shen’s heart, but after thinking for a moment he managed to calm down.

‘No one in this era should be able to decipher the properties of the plum blossom. If I hadn’t been so desperate when I was born into this era I wouldn’t have chosen to pass it on to that brother of mine. I would have chosen someone else who isn’t so high profile.’

Xi Shen let out a sigh at his utter mistake because of his eagerness to get rid of that seal that had been was suppressing his emotions in his past life.

When he was born, he had been surprised that it had followed him after he reincarnated, but due to him changing bodies and soul signature, the plum blossom was freed from him. But instead of waiting a bit more, Xi Shen had thought that if he didn’t get rid of it immediately, he would become an emotionless puppet again.

He was scared, and terrified about that possibility and made the error to pass it on to his brother. Though his brother was an extremely good candidate for the plum blossom to be implanted in, he wouldn’t have chosen him after knowing about the Era a bit more as well as the status of the Crown Prince.

He had heard that mid-wife call him Crown Prince, but he had no idea the Royal Family he was born into was powerful enough to rule a Continent. If he had, Fu Wei who would inherit this power would have been the last person he'd chosen.

After the guard told Xi Shen that, he only turned around without another word.

‘I won’t be able to check up on him for now, plus I have to return to the Celestial Academy to create that Faction of mine. Since I’ve chosen to dip my finger into this hidden war, I’ll have to go about this carefully. But I wonder what I should name my Faction though.’

Xi Shen decided to make his way back to the east wing, as there was nothing he could do about not seeing his brother at the moment. While in deep thought Xi Shen was walking up to the gate of his courtyard, but all of a sudden various images appeared in his consciousness, and upon looking at those images Xi Shen’s body couldn’t help but completely freeze up, before a strong urge to kill wafted from his body.

Within the images, scenes of a bloody Yang Su being surrounded by three masked men were displayed.

Xi Shen stepped forward, and immediately rush towards his chambers. After entering, he closed the door before quickly entering a meditative state and sunk his conscious into the wooden jade slip he had given to Yang Su.

Thousands of kilometers away from the Imperial City, at the edge of a forest some kilometers away from the Celestial Academy, Yang Su held the broken wooden slip in his left hand as he stared at the two men.

These three men were giving off the cultivation aura of Sea Expansion Realm experts, but what frighten Yang Su was that they had mid-grade Spirit Artifacts that made their power equal to someone in the 1st stage of the Foundation Construction Realm.

If Yang Su didn't have the mysterious wooden sword that Xi Shen had given him, he would have been killed from their sudden ambush.

Seeing that Yang Su had taken out some kind of wooden slip, one of the three masked men in full black clothing sent a Soul Sense message to his other compatriots.

‘We need to kill him immediately, that wooden slip had most likely sent out a distress signal. He’s the second prince’s assistant so he must have alerted him. Go all out and KILL HIM!!’

Upon saying that, the three-man simultaneously dash towards Yang Su, the mid-grade Spirit Weapon Artifacts in the shape of swords blazed with dazzling red lights that gave off a bloodthirsty aura.

Yang Su’s face drained of blood as the men hefted their weapons to attack him, however, a golden light suddenly radiated from his palm before the wooden slip shot out to float in the air in front of him.

As the golden light washed over the three men, their eyes bulge open like saucers before one of them squeal out in horror, “W-wait that isn’t a distress beacon!! That’s a wooden slip with a Divine Imprint from a Nascent Soul expert!!”

All the three men had pale faces, and they immediately tried to retreat. They, nor their employers had known that Yang Su was so important that a Nascent Soul elder of the Li Clan would be willing to leave a Divine Imprint to protect him.

That was completely absurd!!

Divine Imprints weren’t something that Nascent Soul cultivators could produce anytime they felt like it. Each time they created one it would drastically weaken their Divine Soul as well as their comprehension, meaning their cultivation would decrease.

Why would a Nascent Soul elder of the Li Royal Family go out of their way to gift one to this brat? Even if he’s the second prince’s assistant they would have still hesitated to put their cultivation progress in jeopardy to protect this no-name person.

These men had no idea that for Xi Shen no such outcome would occur when he creates a Divine Imprint, all thanks to the special nature of his soul and how different it was from people in this Era.

With fearful and confused thoughts running through the assassins' minds, they backpaddled to the forest trees to get away from whichever expert was appearing. However, from the golden light, a translucent hand suddenly formed and waved its index finger in the direction of the three black-robed men.

The strength of a Nascent Soul expert’s Divine Will then engulfed that portion of the forest before it exerted pressure and instantly flattened everything within its domain.

With Yang Su as the center, the forest surrounding him for several tens of meters was now void of trees or grass, only wooden splinters and crack soil ground remain. The faint scent of blood could also be smelled in the air.

Yang Su stared gobsmacked at what had just happened. With only a wave of a finger, three experts in the Sea Expansion Realm were crushed into oblivion, not having a single chance to fight back. Even the mid-grade Spirit Artifacts were completely destroyed in that simple attack.

After the hand appeared, the body of a person slowly formed, but the outline of its facial features was obscured, and he had no clothes on, however, there was no genitalia to cover.

After this translucent golden figure appeared, Yang Su suddenly felt a familiar feeling coming from him, and he instantly knew who this Divine projection was from.

However, before he could bow and thank his young master and elder brother Xi Shen for saving him, the voice of Xi Shen that sounded distorted and unrecognizable to him echoed out, “Don’t think I can’t sense you, if you won’t come out then I’ll force you out.”
