Chapter 20: 20 - Frank Castle
Chapter 20: 20 - Frank Castle
After solving the matter with the gangsters, Derrick walked into the alley without stopping.
The heavy truck belonging to the Russian Ross gang was still parked on the street.
However, the Russian Ross gang member who stayed outside the truck has disappeared.
Just when Derrick was about to step out of the alley, a black thing suddenly fell from the sky and landed in front of Derrick.
Derrick frowned slightly and stopped walking.
All he saw was a distorted corpse in front of his eyes, it was the disappeared Russian Ross gang member.
His corpse was in a terrible state, with bloody scars all over his body and a thin steel wire tied to his limbs as if he had been hung on a street lamp.
According to Derrick's recent experience, those scars should be the traces left by the cruel torture suffered recently.
TREAD TREAD~~!
Heavy footsteps sounded in the darkness as a burly black figure stepped out of the shadows.
As the black figure approached him, Derrick could clearly see that it wasn't an alien but rather, he was a tall man with unusually protruding nasal bones and the contours of his face hidden in the shadow looked extremely oppressive.
He was wearing black short sleeves and a thick cloak. The bulletproof vest with a huge pale skull printed on it.
Seeing this iconic attire, Derrick immediately recognized the identity of the person in front of him without thinking any further.
Frank Castle, codenamed, The Punisher!
Although he was a soldier from the Marine Corps, he was also an experienced expert in unconventional warfare. However, his family was implicated in the gang fight and unfortunately, all of them died painfully.
Since then, he has become the punisher and deals with all evil forces by himself. To retaliate, using means that are extremely bloody and brutal.
Although Frank doesn't have any supernatural abilities, his fighting skills were definitely enough to make up for it.
This man was the real god of killing.
Frank's style of doing things was very similar to Wade, the only difference between them was that Frank did not like bullshit.
"Son, you shouldn't be in this dangerous alley at this time."
A hoarse and deep voice sounded, and Frank slowly walked out of the shadows. His pupils were filled with cold light and a strong smell of blood seemed to permeate his clothes.
He held a dagger in his right hand and blood kept dripping down from the dagger blade.
Compared with this 1.9-meter strong man, the thin Derrick does look like a child in front of him.
It may be because Danganronpa's game character is a high school student. After Derrick travelled through worlds, his age also returned to eighteen years old, which happened to be the age of a final-year high school student. For Frank, Derrick really was just a child.
"Tell me, what happened to the warehouse?" Frank said in a deep voice.
Derrick pondered for a few seconds and finally replied honestly, "We were playing cards, they didn't expect that I would detonate the bomb. I did it and the whole Warehouse was blown up."
Frank frowned, unable to understand Derrick's meaning at all.
In fact, he had not been here for a long time. He had just caught a gang member from the Russian Ross gang outside. After passing an unconventional interrogation, he heard a loud explosion in the Warehouse.
Originally, Frank planned to lurk nearby, waiting for the gangsters to appear. Unexpectedly, after waiting for a while, only a young boy appeared in the alley.
Frank knew that in the deepest part of the alley was the Warehouse and the boy in front of him definitely had a lot to do with that explosion.
"Be clear." Frank walked up to Derrick and asked again.
"Can't you see that?" Derrick shook the remote control in his hand and said cheerfully, "Obviously, I blew up that place. You may be late though, those gangsters have already been dealt with by me. Now, only their ashes remain."
Hearing his words, Frank was very surprised.
"Who are you?"
"Just a passer-by?"
Derrick said without changing the cheerful expression on his face while secretly getting ready to guard himself against Frank.
In fact, he wasn't sure if this God of Death, who advocated more violent solutions to violent problems, would attack him.
Frank took a look at Derrick, then wiped off the blood on the dagger, showing no intention of making a move.
After his observation, the boy in front of him was not in his range of hunting. Although Frank has never been a soft-hearted person, he still has his own set of morals. He still has a certain tolerance for young people and moreover, the dead were all damned gangsters anyways.
Frank didn't speak, turned and walked out of the alley.
However, Frank soon stopped.
Derrick followed his line of sight and not far away were several big black jeeps rushing towards them.
Accompanied by the screeching sound of tires rubbing against each other, the convoy stopped in front of them and more than a dozen heavily armed men got out of the car, their eyes fixed on Derrick and Frank's positions
Derrick immediately shrank and hid behind Frank while saying seriously, "Be careful, they are coming for us!"
Frank glanced back at Derrick.
What is 'us'? It was clearly aimed at you!
