The life of a Haughty Prince

Chapter 81

Chapter 81

"haaaaaaa!!!!!! It hurts!!!! Sis!! Sis..it hurts!!!!!it hurts soooo much!!!! Help!!!!...make it stop!!!!..oooohhh!!!!"

All of a sudden, the struggle and shouts of pain echoed all over the room. Surprising everyone. Amelia, who was gazing at Atlas the whole time turned to John. Her eyes contracting in disbelief.

Lily panicked altogether, standing on her foot once again.

"What's happening??!! John!! John!!!!!.....how!!! why?? Amelia??" she turned back to Amelia, the panic and anxiety clear on her blue eyes.

Amelia nodded, coming forward, her eyes turning white as a certain wisp of white surrounded her whole body. The aura around her spiked to a whole new level, accreting a holy dominance of her own. Her golden and white decorated gown started floating, like the gravity around her was slowly diminishing.

She floated above the ground to a certain height, coming closer to john. Watching him as he struggled and howled in pain. She was also confused about what was happening. The elixir should have worked, healing not just his lungs but his whole body altogether.

Even a half-dead man would come to life, regenerating every part of their body within seconds. The Blue dime, the ever rare healing Elixir made from the leaves of the tree of life but instead of healing him, he was now suffering like his insides were burning in fire.

Without wasting any time, she started chanting, praying towards the mother goddess.

Lily backed away, tears falling down from her eyes, the same tears which were of joy were now turned to tears of pain. The pain of watching her brother, breaking down in agony, and the worst part being she didn't know what, why, or how this was happening.

"I thought..the Blue dime .would fix it all."

Atlas saw for the first time, the beautiful Lily caring without a speck of her usual pride. Her eyes filled with tears for her brother.

He used his 'Eyes' right away, gazing through all his skin and muscles like before as Amelia was also starting her prayers.

'.....hmmthat.looks painful.... The lungs are trying to regenerate like it's supposed to, coming to their original shape but the tumors are still inside..it's not letting it regenerate passed through it..damn.his lungs are still trying to regenerate like crazy, colliding with the tumor. It's like, facing a brick wall.

Of course, that would be fucking painful, he must be in hell right now and the regenerated blood from his lungs, it's slowly spreading everywhere, at this rate, his lungs will be filled with blood.anddeath from internal bleeding would be inevitable ...haa.what should I do? What should I do? no one knows how to handle cancer, I am the only one that ..That.haaa.'

Atlas regulated his Celestial aura, calming himself down. His mind, now in peace.

"...Please, bless this child."

With those final prayers, a ray of white light came from Amelia's palm as it spread through all over his groaning body.

Amelia was still in full concentration, following her Goddess's command.

[Focus on his chest my child, it will calm him down but it will only buy you time, this child will...inevitably die.]

Amelia's eyes contracted, listening to the kind and troubling voice of her Goddess. Past memories of her friends flooding in. Her eyes became brighter more radiant. Her aura doubling down now pressuring both Atlas and Lily behind her.

"Amelia?" Lily said, her body falling down on her knees.

And she wasn't alone, beside her, Atlas was struggling to even stand, as the sudden pressure was dominating his whole body like the force of a whole mountain was pushing him down. For the first time in his life, his 'Don' Bloodline couldn't help but kneel against the force he was facing.

'..aaa...so this..is the power of a God'

Lily gazed at her brother, who was slowly calming down but the worry in her eyes didn't waver, her eyes looking upon the saintess.

'Amelia...don't tell me.'

The holy power she was exerting, the pressure, the sheer healing power she was now using on her brother, she was familiar with it all...and she also knew how risky it 'really' was.

On that day, She had used the same supreme form, trying to heal their fellow adventurer friends, who were dying one by one in front of her own eyes. Her high-level healing not affecting anyone at all. The tragedy, the day of the explosion and to save as many people as possible, she took her original form of the Saintess, harnessing a percent of the power of the Goddess herself.

Lily didn't know it would be effective for her brother but one thing for sure was that the backlash for Amelia would be immense, immense to a level that she could potentially lose her life in the end.

She wanted to save her brother but she didn't want to risk her best friend's lived at the end, she tried standing, forcing as much mana on her legs as possible, cracks appearing on the floor beneath her feet.

The floor which could withstand massive damage like nothing was now cracking beneath her foot, but she didn't move, not even an inch.

Her screaming brother gradually calmed down, now fully covered in white light.

"Amelia!!! Stop!!!" lily shouted.

Amelia didn't answer, focusing on John's chest. The root and cause of it all.

[child..at this rate.your life force will be half exhausted.]

'No mother Goddess!!! I can't let anyone that I care about die from this, this disease!!! I will save him, at all cost!!' she replied with determination.

Atlas who was watching it all, now knew the situation was falling to the worst. Lily screaming at Amelia to stop, the kind Saintess not listening as her life was slowly draining away.

'Was Amelia always like this? I guess, I still don't know all about her..'

He did what he could do best. Teleporting right beside Amelia, hugging her tight from the back, his hands on her waist and his lips near her ear. He released a bit of his lust aura right away not knowing what the consequences would be.

He wanted to shout to her ear to stop but the pressure doubled as he was much closer, shutting his lips, his face muscle unable to even move a millimeter. Her whole being was displaying dominance that his body couldn't fully handle, trying to panel him down like he was not ready to step on this stage. His hands holding her and his frontal body also in contact with her back started to burn with white fire. His black clothes slowly burning to ash.

'aaa..this hurts like I'm ..mmmm.burning from within. Really. How did it turn out to be like this?.....'

The pain was surging to his insides like the fire was trying to push him away, but he withstood, knowing if he let go. Amelia would surely face some perilous backlash later on and that was the last thing he wanted when he just met her by chance of luck.

He gazed at her as his mask was slowly burning away from its chin. What Atlas saw in her eyes, was the strong determination to save someone before her. Her white glowing eyes looking like it was carrying a heavy burden, a burden to heal anyone and everyone, may it be in exchange with her life force.

'She isn't the chosen one for nothing I guess'

Atlas took a long breath in.

'I guess I also can't half-ass this'

He channeled his lust aura, using half of all of its power all at once, and his body glowing with a purple hue. He didn't want to use this much power as he didn't know what would happen after using this amount of aura which was basically at stage two, but this was the only choice for now. The only way to stop her.

Atlas's hand was turning red, his skin up to his wrist all burned and gone, the pain still lingering from the hot white fire she was exuding out. When at some point, the pain became less and less. His purple aura gradually taking over.

His muscles around his lips twitched, knowing it was now finally free. He gazed at her face, a bit red around her cheeks but her eyes unchanging with the willpower still burning like embers.

'nows the time.'

He put his commanding bloodline aura around his tongue like he saw when his mother and father use, during their speech to their fellow people.

"Amelia stop!!!" he shouted.

The echo of his sound reverberating all around the room.

Her unstable body from Atlas's temptation and the sudden loud clatter on her ears, broke her deep concentration, losing her contact with her Goddess.

Her eyes turned normal white and the gravity around them became normal, both of them falling down on the floor. The previous mind-numbing holy aura, gone the moment they fell down.

The only thing left was the unconscious Amelia who was breathing heavily with her face turning red and the half dozed Atlas by her side.

Using such volume of noise, his own ears and mind were numbing like crazy.

".Impossible" Lily said in surprise. She just witnessed what seemed unbelievable for many people. A rookie controlling the saintess.

'a black star.' She thought as she gazed at Atlas.

As he woke up, he saw Lily coming closer with a worried look. He felt the pain lingering on his hands and half-burnt chest and his abs. he looked down to only see his clothes burned to smithereens and the Purple mist like aura encasing his whole body.

Coming back to his senses, he took all his aura in, before lily could come near and look back at Amelia.

"Are you ok?...what happened to Amelia?" Lily asked.

'Oh..shit....' he thought looking at Amelia.

When he gazed back at her, his instinct kicked in, following other people's lust and holy mother of god, she was in heating like the sun, eager to breed, diving into her primal nature. Atlas was sure that, if she was conscious as of now, she would have attacked him right away without even thinking twice.

"She might....not be ok, Lily hold Amelia for the time being and don't let her go when she wakes up.." Atlas said.

Lily was confused but still followed. She thought the tragedy would occur all over again with Amelia losing her life in the process to save her brother and like in the past, she could do nothing but watch but...to her surprise, him, the new rookie somehow calmed the heaven blessed saintess with his unknown powers, even controlling the Saintess herself at a point.

Atlas turned to John who now seemed ok but his 'Eyes' showed there was still a struggle between his lungs and the tumor.

'haa.. I really wish I had some way'

[Analyzing complete.

Solution found!!! ]

'ohh..I guess I can help then..'

Atlas stood up, pieces of his mask and clothes falling down. He turned to Lily who was holding Amelia as she was told.

"If you want your brother to be saved, you have to trust me" he said, a chunk of his mask falling down, one of his mesmerizing charming eyes coming in view.

Lily gasped from within, her breath on hold, looking at his eye and his chiseled face, the only thing she could do was nod as she just saw heaven itself, her lips unable to open with her eyes unable to shut.

He turned to John, walking near him, the previous struggling john was now sleeping in peace as his whole body was glowing bright white.

'Let the surgery begin'
