Chapter 15: Cursed Technique
Chapter 15: Cursed Technique
Heinald took the golden box in front of him and began to examine it.There was a strange green stone on it.Heinald felt a small tingling in his brain when he touched the stone, and the stone began to glow.
"Answer?" An old woman voice in Heinald's head made him frown.
"What?"
"Answer?" The voice repeated.
"Secret." Heinald smiled slightly, the spiritual body had already told him the answer.
The tingling in Heinald's brain stopped. Golden box opened with a slight click. There was a scroll inside the box.
Heinald immediately opened it and looked at its content.
"Heart Of The Darkness?" Heinald muttered. As he read the content written in the scroll, his pupils started to shrink.
On this scroll was the detailed content of the cursed technique that Runmoag had acquired. Heinald read the entire content. This technique was truly a cursed technique. The first step in the technique was to gather 1000 Ainsar souls together. The second step was to burn spirits and obtain the Malicious Spirit Essence through the Malicious God's Torture Stone. The third step was to pierce his heart and send the Malicious Soul Essence directly to his heart.
"This technique..." Heinald sighed. "One of the books I have found has a spell called 'Aodon's Hand'. However,I can't think about it for now. Dark Magic seems extremely dangerous for now. I'd better go back to Sky City."
Heinald sent the whole thing into the dimensional pocket of his robe and left the room. After a short chat with the innkeeper,he learned from the innkeeper that Leina had left the inn a few hours ago and left him a note. Heinald immediately picked up the note and started reading.
"As I want to return to my family as soon as possible, I have to leave hastily. I wrote my address on the back of the Note, I and my family would like to welcome you when you have free time. Thank you for everything."
"It's for your services." Heinald threw an Arkana Stone to the innkeeper.
"I...I...Thank you, my lord!" When the innkeeper saw the Arkana Crystal in his hands, he would almost faint with joy.
Heinald left the inn and made his way towards Sky City. This would increase his travel time, but at least it would be safe.
When Heinald arrived in Sky City, the first place he visited was Rinemoth's Claw. He had to start to deal with the Medium Level Strength Potion. Then he had to talk to Marcus Rinemoth about a matter..
"Greetings." Heinald walked into the shop.
"Welcome." Hamber greeted Heinald.
"Can you get me seven Stardust Flowers, Hent Grass and Sunhed Herbs?" Heinald listed the ingredients.
"If I'm not mistaken, these are essential ingredients for Medium Level Strength Potion, right?" Hamber asked.
Heinald nodded.
"Medium Level Strength Potion is a very difficult potion to make. Don't tell me you can make Low Medium Level Strength Potion..." Hamber glanced at Heinald.
"Not yet. I'm still working on it." Heinald shook his head, spending a total of 630 Arkana Stones, left and began to move towards the Rinemoth Manor.
When he arrived at the mansion, he immediately went to his room and sat down at his desk after taking a bath.Re-envisioning the production process of Medium Level Strength Potion, he began to examine the entire process carefully.Even though the unsuccessful experiments demoralized him, they actually helped a lot in spotting his mistakes.
Heinald also envisioned his previous experiments and meticulously examined his mistakes. He corrected these mistakes and created a new and flawless model in his mind.It was a tremendous advantage, indeed, that he could re-envision everything he saw in a complete way.It was only possible for ordinary people to fully understand their mistakes by making those mistakes over and over again dozens of times.
When he envisioned the whole process and created a flawless model, he lay down on his bed and went to sleep. The next day his first job was to go to Marcus Rinemoth's room. There was a special issue he wanted to talk to him about. The guards in front of his door let Heinald in after getting permission.
"Greetings, sir." Heinald bowed his head slightly and greeted Marcus.
"Young Heinald! I don't see you around much, I guess you have a busy schedule." Marcus put the book he was reading on his desk and started looking at Heinald.
"Yes, sir. I'm really busy." Heinald nodded.
"Hard work always pays off. Don't worry, keep working without slowing down." Marcus gave a little advice.
"I will, sir." Heinald nodded again.
"Do you have a special reason to come here?" Marcus asked.
"I actually came to ask for your help, sir." Heinald scratched his chin.
"Oh? About what?" Marcus put his hands together.
"I need a special material for my body but I couldn't found it anywhere. So I want to search for it on the Black Market." Heinald explained the situation.
"I understand ... I have a friend named Benson, he will help you." Marcus wrote an address on a small piece of paper and handed it to Heinald.
"Thank you sir." Heinald left after saying goodbye to Marcus.
He immediately got on his horse and started to move towards the address written on the paper. The address was the address of a small bookstore called Blue Hawk, which was located near the center of the city. When Heinald arrived at the front of the shop, he dismounted entered the shop.
"Hello young man, how can I help you?" A skinny Ainsar with gray hair and beard greeted him.His aura indicated he was a peak Level 1 Ainsar.
"Greetings.I am here with Marcus Rinemoth's direction. Are you Benson, sir?" Heinald lowered his head and greeted him.
"I am!" The man smiled and nodded.
"There is a material I want to search for on the Black Market. Can you help me?" Heinald scratched his chin.
"Black Market ... Sit down first." Benson pointed to the chair in front of his desk, then asked, "What do you know about the Black Market?"
"Its an underground trade network. There may be obtain legal and illegal materials that are not available in the market.Items traded on the Black Market are not logged." Heinald slowly nodded.
"True!Black Market is actually a hidden market.Countless unidentified shadow wanders." Benson made a serious expression. He opened the drawer of his desk with a large key and took out a card.
"This card is very important, don't lose it.Send it a special energy wave. The energy surge you send will be your identity and signature. You have to pay 15 Arkana Stones as the registration fee." Benson gave Heinald an orange crystal card.
Heinald sent a wave of energy to the card, which glowed for a while and then returned to its original state.
Then he made paid.
"Alright, now you can officially trade. Come on, let me show you the Trading Room." Benson got up and signaled Heinald to follow him.Benson stopped in front of one of the many doors in the hallway and opened the door with a large key.In the middle of the room there was a stone-only lectern and above it there were two books.
"You have to write the material you want to sell in the blue book, and the material you want to buy in the green book." Benson explained and left the room.
Heinald went to the green book and opened it, all the pages were blank.Heinald picked up the pen next to the book and wrote.
'Messoy Mushroom'
Wrings began to appear on the book.
"Request: Messoy Mushroom, Condition: Available, Price (Piece): 10 Arkana Stones"
"Do you want to make a purchase?"
"Yes." Heinald wrote.
"Please specify the number of pieces!"
"3"
"Please put your card on the page."
Heinald immediately put his card on the page.
"Your order has been received. We will contact you!" Heinald left the Trading Room and came up the stairs, and Benson was sitting at his desk.
"Could you figure it out?" Benson asked with a smile.
"Yes, my order has been taken, so what now?" Heinald scratched his chin.
"You will be notified when your order arrives. Then you can come and pick it up here." Benson shrugged. When Heinald got his job done, he left the Blue Hawk and went to the Rinemoth Manor. He entered his room and prepared the materials and tools for the Medium Level Strength Potion experiment. He envisioned the latest model he created in his last mind and started making potions. He never left his room for five days, and at the end of the process three potions were successful and four potions had failed.
"Not bad! I really managed to brew three Medium Level Strength Potions.I must be the only one to achieve this in so few attempts." Heinald smiled and nodded. Moreover,he was still in the stage of being experienced. When he got experienced, his mistake rate would be almost zero.
When Heinald first left his room in days, he first rewarded himself with a fine meal.He then went to sell the Medium Level Strength Potions he had breweded.Hamber was almost blackout when he saw Heinald successfully brew 3 Medium Level Strength Potions. He had praised Heinald for minutes when he recovered and said he admired his talent. He sold 3 Medium Level Strength Potions for 660 Arkana Crystals.
