Although Henry was tempted to do the selection at that time, he knew that he had to find a safe place first. So, he looked at Adam and signaled him to follow him.

Thereafter, the two of them got inside a building that looked like a laboratory. Since they had never stepped their feet in this part of the facility, they were surprised to know that there was actually a laboratory present here.

Still, all of that didn't matter to Henry at the moment. So, after they made sure that there was nobody inside there, they closed the doors.

Henry then looked at the screen in front of him. His eyes were glittering as he looked at the different professions that had been listed in front of him.

He didn't even try looking at the non-combat professions. In the apocalypse, he didn't believe that those with the other professions would be able to survive without the assistance of those who had combat professions.

Henry wasn't someone who could depend on someone else to keep his life. He wanted to have the fate of his life in his hands. Even though this wish of his could have never been fulfilled before, the same couldn't be said about the present.

Now that he had felt the improvement in his body, he certainly possessed several wishes. In this apocalypse, other than looking for his family, he was definitely going to try to reach the top.

As he looked at the combat professions, he simply skipped the berserker profession. That was something that he didn't even try thinking about possessing it.

When his eyes landed on the second profession, the mage profession, he hesitated for a moment. But after thinking about it, he decided to set aside the profession until he had looked at all the currently available professions.

The archer and assassin profession were skipped as well. As for necromancy, Henry didn't want to deal with dark creatures. For that reason, he ignored that profession as well.

Finally, his gaze landed on the summoner profession. Looking at the description of the summoner profession, Henry decided to set it aside, just as he had done with the mage profession.

As for a paladin, Henry didn't have much of an impression of it. So, just like the assassin profession, he ignored it.

But when his gaze landed on the final profession, warlock Henry, felt his heartbeat racing. He immediately felt that this profession was made just for him.

[Warlock Profession: Unique Profession; The one who owns this profession will be adept in using both magic and melee. The owner of the profession would be granted affinity to a single element, as well as an improvement in the usage of a weapon that the user would have selected by a single level.

Point to note: The owner of the profession would find that leveling up while owning this profession would be difficult as compared to other professions' holder. But to make up for this, the combat power of a warlock would always be ahead of all other profession holders at the same level.]

Henry didn't hesitate to select the warlock profession at all. Other than the fact that he would be both a mage and a warrior, there was also a fact that his skills in utilizing a weapon of his choice would be enhanced by a single level.

This was just enough reason for him to select this profession. Even though it was going to be difficult for him to rank up, that didn't matter to him. As long as his combat strength was superior to others, that was enough.

[You have selected the warlock profession. In 1 hour, you will be able to change your profession to become a warlock. To enhance your abilities, you can kill as many apocalyptic creatures as possible during the one-hour period.]

[You still have one chance to select another profession.]

After the two prompts whose source Henry knew nothing of, Henry got back at the remaining professions. After he had selected the warlock profession, it had disappeared from the choices.

Now then, for the final profession, there were two that were left. It was the mage profession and the summoner profession.

The mage profession was directly eliminated since the warlock profession that Henry had selected was going to grant him affinity towards a single element. This was no different from becoming a mage.

So, the final choice that Henry decided on was definitely the summoner profession. The reason as to why he had decided to this was because, even though he was strong, there was no way that he was going to be in different places at the same time.

[Summoner profession: The holder of this profession is granted the ability to summon a creature from another dimension to fight for them. The holder of the profession can only summon a single creature per power level, and each creature that is summoned will be stronger than the last.

The creatures summoned would always be at the same power level as the summoner. As the creature kills more apocalyptic creatures, it shares the same power up with the summoner.]

That's right. Other than the fact that having a summoned creature would help him in covering different places at the same time, there was also help that came towards the improvement of his strength and level.

Since summoners depended on the creatures that they had summoned to fight, they also depended on these creatures to level up.

But for Henry, it was wholly different. He could fight alongside the summoned creature. And since it was difficult for him to level up the warlock profession, then this was just good as it was going to help him in accelerating the process.

[You have selected the summoner profession. In 1 hour, you will be able to change your profession to become a warlock. To enhance you're abilities, you can kill as many apocalyptic creatures as possible during the one-hour period.]

After the second prompt appeared in front of him, Henry finally relaxed a bit. He was given one hour to kill as many apocalyptic creatures as possible so that he can be granted a better level for the professions that he had selected.

Knowing this, he looked at Adam, who was seated at the side, trying to nurse the wounds that he had suffered.

"You should get ready. We are going out again after you have taken enough rest." Henry stated.

"Just give me 10 minutes. That is enough for me to be able to handle those creatures outside there." Adam replied. He was getting even more excited as he felt that he was getting stronger than before.

Had it not been for the fact that he was currently wounded, then he would have definitely tried to get back outside so that he can continue hunting.

Henry, on the other hand, decided to take this moment to look at the system store. He wanted to see if there was anything that could be utilized to heal a wound. He would rather not continue wasting time because he had only been given 1-hour period.

The two of them had managed to kill a total of nine wolves during the past 15 minutes or so that they were outside. For that reason, he possessed 12 unranked mutation crystals, as well as a single level 1 mutation crystal.

Henry had attempted looking for a level one creature, but he had not managed to find it. After all, a level one mutation crystal was worth a hundred unranked mutation crystals.

In the store, Henry managed to find a place where there were several utilities. The utilities contained a long list of things.

[Utilities.

<Health potions- 20-700mc.>

<Mana potions- 40- 500mc.>

<Stamina potions- 15- 630mc.>

<Berserk potions- 50-900mc.>

....]

Henry looked at the long list of potions. After selecting the health potion section, he looked at the series of health potions and finally managed to find what he was looking for.

[Health potion- It can be used to heal any injuries that have been caused by apocalyptic creatures. The higher the level of the user, the lower the effect of the potion. Cost; 100mc.]

Henry had decided to take this potion because he didn't know if there were any risks that came with suffering injuries from the apocalyptic creatures. Even though there were various other potions that could heal the injuries, Henry decided on this that was specifically targeted towards wounds that were caused by apocalyptic creatures.

But, the only problem that he was having, was the fact that the cost was just high. If he could, Henry would have definitely selected another potion. After all, in the potion section, there was no difference between the potions names. The only difference was the function.

Henry wanted to spend the level 1 mutation crystal, but he was slightly hesitant. He thought of something, and finally asked the system.

'System, How many mutation crystals can I get from the bodies of the wolves that I have submitted?' Henry asked.

All this while, as they killed the wolves, he had always collected the bodies to be sold to the system store. Currently, what they really liked was the mutation crystals. If he managed to get more mutation crystals, then he was sure that he was going to shoot through the roof. After all, the system sold anything.
