Chapter 419 Who Said It?
"What… you did to him?" Henri furrowed his eyebrows while taking a few steps backward.
"It is too much of a long story," Aion replied. "Anyway, we need to hurry up, and this guy will help us find allies as soon as possible while I heal. We can't afford to give any more time to the enemy."
Everyone entered the pocket dimension, even Aion, and then they saw the speedster moving toward the East, where Elio was supposed to be.
After talking with him, Aion realized something… all of the powers that he had now were something that the enemies were expecting to have. He became known as the cursed king of time because, over time, he learned those skills by himself… even if he hadn't seen the dream, he would have learned them… thus, the enemies are ready for it.
"This is no good… I need to keep surpassing myself, much more than the enemies are expecting," Aion thought. "Still, now that I think about it… this title suits Tenebres way more than me… is this a coincidence?"
That sure was an ominous question… Still, Aion didn't have time to worry about it. The speedster made the group reach the area where Elio was in less than ten minutes, but soon Aion confirmed that the guy couldn't run like that forever. He had a core that absorbed mana from the air to make him move like that. Still, Aion solved that by transferring his mana.
Elio and the survivors were also taking shelter in a city that had been overtaken by monsters. Still, the speedster dealt with them in no time.

Elio was also surprised to see one of his enemies helping his group, and he was even more surprised when he saw all of his brothers. They didn't have time to waste, so Aion quickly disposed of the bodies, and then they began to head North… the enemy was supposed to be further East, using Artemisia's hometown as a base to move around between numerous periods of time, but Aion needed more help and time. It was time to find the Heradins. That also was going to give him some time to unseal some classes.

While the speedster was crossing the oceans, Aion finished analyzing another class. Still, while that method to get stronger was very useful, soon it will reach its limits since Aion only unlocked so many classes.
"If I keep leveling up space king, eventually, I will be able to travel to other periods as well; that will give me a chance to grind some more… but it is quite risky to leave this era," Aion thought. "If he loses his confidence in winning, he might end up sealing this age, and that will make me unable to return… There are too many risks. As expected, I will do that on a world scale."
Before taking the next step of his plans, Aion had to find Heradins… even with their best ship, it would take a while for Sauros to return home and then go back to the Zaera Kingdom. Considering the time he talked with Henri, he should be at home now.
When morning came, they arrived at their base. His brothers were surprised when they heard from Aion that their base was basically a floating city… However, Aion didn't find any signs of the barrier there, in the area that it was supposed to be. He flew high in the sky and didn't see any weird concentrations of islands either.
"It seems that they left the area… I didn't know that they could use their entire base as a flying vessel," Aion thought and then sighed. "They still had things hidden from me, huh. I guess they still considered that I might become an enemy in the future."
"Even though you were going to marry one of them?" Henri asked.
"Who said that I would?" Aion furrowed his eyebrows.
"Weren't two of them from their family? Everyone assumed that it was the case," Henri replied. "Why would they live with you?"
"To help with the problems of the enemies that can use time magic… Arlana is from the future, by the way," Aion said. "Now that things have become like this, there is no point in hiding. She was the last human that survived an invasion in the future."
As the group of brothers absorbed the shocking revelation of the world's impending destruction and the survival of only one person, a wave of disbelief and concern washed over them. They exchanged wide-eyed glances, their faces reflecting a mix of surprise, worry, and determination. They were also surprised at how stupid Aion could be at times, they didn't know him that well.
