The Supreme Level Up System

Chapter 7 Training

When Aion showed up the next day in the garden, the others hadn't arrived yet. His mother told him to get earlier to show his determination and seriousness to his father. It didn't seem like she hated him, but after the brief exchange of the previous day, he realized that his father didn't want to interact with his mother much. It also didn't look like he hated her that much because of the war…

In any case, Aion was supposed to receive some training gear from his father, and he saw him carrying a wooden shield and sword. It was a rather boring start from the basics, but it couldn't be helped… even though his half brothers already have a real shield and practice swords made of iron. Aion wondered if that wouldn't mess with their bodies since too much strain would make them stop growing, but that was a world of magic… maybe some rules weren't absolute there.

"Your job is to run around the garden until you fall," Lexus said while passing to him the shield and sword. "I will determine when you are ready for the next step. Carry those, and don't drop them."

That was worse than Aion had expected. Still, he decided to follow that order since he could finally use his body properly and because he had the right skill and class for the job. Cutting corners when it comes to training wasn't a good idea. Still, that would help him more than just doing the usual way. It would be more efficient as well.

With the Monk class, Aion could train his stamina with physical training. Basically, whatever he does that requires his stamina will improve that skill, and each level would increase his stamina by five points. It was one of the things that he could do without mana that would help him level up his class.

When Aion began to run, he waited until he reached the other side of the mansion when no one was looking at him to change his job and then hide the gauntlets. Thanks to his parameters, Aion didn't have a hard time jogging around the mansion for twenty minutes without breaking a sweat despite his short legs. While jogging, he used only one stamina point per minute, and he re could recover exactly that every minute as well…

Aion felt refreshed while feeling his father looking at him and frowning at the same time. Kids are supposed to be full of energy, but they get bored easily after doing the same thing over and over again.

Although Aion's stamina was holding up, after half an hour, his muscles began to hurt a bit… it was only expected that something like that would happen… Still, to think that it would be that bad… it was probably because it was the first time he moved his body that much. Since it was the first day, Aion pushed himself a bit more. However, he had to stop for one hour since his legs stopped obeying him.

"Massage your legs like this and once they are fine again, continue moving," Lexus said.

His father taught him how to make his muscles relax, and then they began to recover faster. Overdoing on the first day didn't seem like a good idea, but Aion also agreed that he should train his willpower from an early age. The last three years had been way too comfortable for him.

In the end, Aion managed to pull another full hour before breakfast. Unfortunately, he had to stop after that… his father told him to rest for the day and then return tomorrow at the same hour. Since Physical Training reached level three, Aion was satisfied by the day. After that single day, when it came to the Monk class, Aion's stamina jumped from 44 to 72. So, he rested, feeling more than a bit accomplished.

"Maybe I should use Heal tomorrow and see if it can alleviate the muscular pain, even if my health was full the whole time, it should be useful to some extent," Aion thought.

"Until now, I wasn't able to level up the skills, but if they show any effect, that should change," Aion thought.

The next day, Aion realized while he was running around the mansion that his mother was hiding in a window and watching everything. She truly looked like a caged bird that always wanted to see that small hope of light in her life… At least she looked happy. Aion also realized that some others were also looking at the boys' training, mainly their mothers and sisters waiting for them to have breakfast.

"For the time being, I need to focus on the discrimination against my mother… I should start small and solve things here, in the house," Aion thought.
