The Tycoon's Odyssey

Chapter 375 375:You Are Coming With Us

Fabiano slammed the car door and stepped into the waiting car. The driver gave him a curt nod, started the engine and pulled away from the hotel. In the backseat, Fabiano sank into the upholstery, his mind dancing with anger and meticulously planning his next move.

As they approached the airport, a sudden, sharp beep filled the car, breaking Fabiano's thoughts. The sound grew insistent, setting his instincts on the edge and urging him to get out of the car. Without hesitation, he shoved the car door open with brute force and kicked it wide, hurling himself out just as the sound grew louder, he jumped out.

He hit the ground hard, rolling across the ground. Pain flared in his scraped arms and legs, but he tucked his down and braced himself, expecting an explosion.

BOOM!

The sound thundered through the air, but when Fabiano looked up, his eyes opened wide in shock and his heart skipped a beat. The car stood intact, perfectly fine, idling on the road. It hadn't exploded. Confused and staring at it in disbelief, he brushed the dirt off his clothes and unsteadily got to his feet.

"What the hell is going on?" he muttered, looking around cautiously.

From the shadows, five figures dressed in sleek mechanical suits emerged, thor suits gleaming under the faint sunlight. They moved with precision as they coordinated to surround Fabiano.

One of them stepped forward, a tall man with a mocking smirk on his face. Cracking his knuckles, he said in a tone full of mockery. "Don't worry, Fabiano. We're not here to kill you."

Another figure, shorter but equally imposing, added with a sinister smile. "No… not just yet."n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om

Fabiano's eyes darted between the five men, his mind racing, trying to figure out an escape. But before he could make a move, they closed in on him, leaving him with no way out.

Fabiano's defiance burned brightly, his fists clenching and ready as the five men surrounded him. "You think you can handle me?" he sneered, baring his teeth like a cornered animal.

"You are messing with one of the top-level superhumans you measly flock."

The five didn't respond. Instead, they advanced in perfect coordination, their mechanical suits gleaming under the faint streetlights. Fabiano struck first, throwing a devastating punch at the nearest man. His fist connected, producing a solid thud and sending the attacker stumbling back, momentarily disoriented.

But it wasn't enough. The others were even faster to respond. A second man lunged at Fabiani from behind, landing a powerful kick to his ribs, sending him skidding across the asphalt. The enhanced suits gave them the speed and strength that Fabiano couldn't match, nonetheless, he wasn't ready to give up.

Roaring in fury, Fabiano charged forward, rage burning in his veins as he delivered a flurry of punches. His fists were flying like a blur, landing blows on two attackers. One staggered back, his suit's armor dented by the sheer force of his strikes. Yet the remaining three closed in, unrelenting.

With a slight twist of his arm, one gripped Fabiano's arm mid-swing and dragged him to the floor, before twisting it painfully. Fabiano roared and gritted his teeth as the pain coursed through him, but he kept moving, his free arm raising and striking down from his elbow into the mask, shattering the suit's visor.

As the attacker staggered, another moved in, ramming Fabiano with enhanced strength and pinning him in a crushing grip.

With a guttural yell, Fabiano used his immense strength to lift the man off the ground and slammed him into the pavement. The impact caused cracks to spider through the asphalt. But before Fabiano could get a chance to think of a next move, a third attacker landed a brutal kick to his back, sending him sprawling.

Fabiano rolled to his feet, wiping blood from his mouth. His eyes were ablaze with fury as he tore a piece of metal pipe sticking out of a nearby wreckage. Grabbing it, he swung it like a bat before charging back into the fray.

The first attacker tried to block him but failed. The pipe connected with the side of his helmet, hurling him into a wall. The remaining men moved quickly; one delivered a precise jab to Fabiano's stomach, forcing the air from his lungs, while another swept his legs, slamming him to the ground.

Fabiano hit the ground hard but he refused to stay down. With another roar, he surged to his feet, swinging the pipe in a furious arc. The clang of metal clashing against reinforced suits echoed through the street as Fabiano fought like a possessed man.

"You are tougher than you look," one of the attackers muttered, his voice distorted through his helmet.

Fabiano smirked, blood trickling from the corner of his mouth. "You've got no idea who you're dealing with."

But his bravado wavered as the five men adjusted their stances and began moving in perfect unison while their suits emitted a low, ominous hum. Fabiano's eyes narrowed as he realized they were powering up.

One man shot forward with blinding speed, landing a devastating punch to Fabiano's jaw. Another followed, delivering a kick to his side, sending him crashing into a nearby car. The vehicle crumpled under the impact, its alarm shrieking into the night.

Groaning, Fabiano dragged himself out of the wreckage. His vision blurred, and pain radiated through his battered body, but he refused to yield. Gripping the car's twisted metal frame, he tore off the door and hurled it at the advancing attackers.

The makeshift projectile slammed into one man, knocking him off his feet, but the others had closed the gap by then.

"Hold him down!" one of them barked.

Two attackers pinned Fabiano by his arms with inhuman strength. He strained against their iron grip, but even Superhuman strength wasn't enough to free him from them. Just then, a third man stepped forward and landed a rapid series of punches to Fabiano's abdomen.

He coughed violently, blood splattering on the ground. His legs buckled, his resistance waning.

"That's enough playing around," one of the attackers muttered.

One of the men raised a baton-like weapon and struck Fabiano across the head. He fell to the ground dazed and barely conscious as the five men stood over him, their suits humming faintly as they prepared to deliver the final blow and finish their job.

"Let's wrap this up," one said coldly.

They hauled Fabiano up and pushed him to his knees as another man approached, holding a sleek neural headgear. The device buzzed ominously, its tiny lights flickering in the dim light.

Fabiano's eyes widened with realization. "What the hell are you doing?" he growled, struggling weakly.

"Superior orders," one of the men replied coldly. "You've been a troublesome piece on the board. Time to neutralize you."

"No!" Fabiano roared, thrashing violently, but his efforts were of no use as the man holding the device forced it onto his head.

The moment the neural headgear clicked into place, Fabiano's body went rigid. His eyes rolled back, and a low, guttural groan of pain escaped his throat as the device activated. His mind felt like it was being torn apart, his thoughts and will crushed under an unbearable pressure.

One of the attackers tapped a button on his wrist. The next moment the headgear emitted a faint pulse and Fabiano's struggles ceased, his body turning limp.

The leader of the group stepped back, observing their work with cold satisfaction. "Miss Aurora," he muttered into a communicator, "the job is done. Fabiano has been neutralized."

Aurora's faint voice crackled through the comms. [Excellent. Bring him in.]

The five men nodded at each other before lifting Fabiano's unconscious body and carrying him toward a waiting vehicle. The night fell silent once more, leaving no trace of the brutal encounter except for the shattered pride and twisted metal.
