Chapter 80 - Following Li Yilan
How in the world did she get this recording?! How did An Luxia figure out that she was the one who had posted it?!
She had purposely gone to create a new account so no one would realize. And where did this recording come from?! She had never recorded anything like this, but from the recording, it was obvious that this recording was taken from when she was signed into her anonymous account.
Li Yilan's lips twitched in both shock and fear as she could not figure out how An Luxia got the recording. Did she create it herself? But it didn't seem like it.
She stayed staring at the phone for a very long time until finally, she heard her mother's voice call her name and she broke out of her thoughts.
She gulped as she closed her phone and quickly went to change before leaving the house to go to her job so she wouldn't be late.
---
After eating a happy dinner with Mo Han, who was in a very good mood today after eating a meal cooked by his dear wife, An Luxia told him that she had to go somewhere.
"I can go with you. . . Or I can take you," Mo Han insisted as he watched An Luxia put her phone into a handbag from the door. His arms were crossed unhappily as he leaned against the doorframe, his long legs slightly slanted as he tapped his feet against the ground.
"It's okay. I can go by myself."
"Where are you even going?" Mo Han asked, frowning from the thought of his wife being gone for the night. She had classes a lot of the time during the day, and now she was going to leave at night as well!
An Luxia closed her bag and walked over to him, smiling as she wrapped her arms around his waist for comfort, "I'm going to go greet my beloved younger sister and tell her some things."
Mo Han furrowed his eyebrows together, "What? Is she more important than me?"
He sounded incredibly like a jealous little boy right now, and An Luxia couldn't help but grin as she gently patted him on the head and pursed her lips out, "Aw, my little Hanhan. Of course not! But I'm afraid if I don't make some things clear to her, she will never figure it out with her dumb nonexistent brain."
Mo Han thought for a few seconds and finally nodded his head, "True. Not everyone is as smart as my wife!"
An Luxia's smile widened as she patted him on the head once more before stepping over Mo Han's long leg and out of the room, "Okay, now. I will be back soon. Wait for me, okay? Goodbye!"
Mo Han followed her out of the room and down the hallway all the way outside to where the driver was waiting for them in the driveway already.
"I'll be back soon, okay?" An Luxia comforted him once more before turning around to leave, but was immediately pulled back forcefully by Mo Han.
Her hand fell onto his chest and before she could react, he leaned down, using one hand to lift her chin up and greet his lips as he kissed her.
The driver, who had stepped out of the car to open the car door for Mrs. Mo, immediately turned around to avoid looking at them as he coughed awkwardly. As an old man without a family or partner, he couldn't help but blush at the scene presented to him.
After a while, An Luxia started tapping Mo Han on the chest to get him to stop. He finally pulled away after a long time, leaving a flustered An Luxia to glare at him before she quickly disappeared into the car.
He waved goodbye to her in a better mood and watched as the car drove off. He couldn't see into the tinted car window, but he could guess that she was probably angrily crossing her arms together.
An Luxia pulled out her phone from her bag and found the address she acquired from hacking into Li Yilan's phone and told the driver the address.
The Li family had moved into an area near the city with a cheaper rent than the center of the city, and the environment of the apartment wasn't very good, but definitely better than the rural countryside area.
The car ride took a decent amount of time for An Luxia to figure out what she would be telling Li Yilan when she met her. She was hoping that she wouldn't have to run into her biological parents while she was there, but she also thought out what she would say to them if she were to.
She was getting sick and tired of Li Yilan's small clown acts, and although she had no problem with fighting and dealing with them, she had better things to do with her time. Therefore, she had to make it clear to her that she was done with her.
The car drove down the highway and into the streets, which were much dirtier than the streets she lived in. . . and definitely more dirty than the streets Mo Han lived in.
The streets were empty as the car stopped in front of an apartment building that was slightly tattered and had about five floors.
The paint on the walls was falling off, and you could see the grey underneath the dirty white paint, making the apartment exterior look very cheap.
An Luxia got out of the car and told the driver to wait for her here as she entered the apartment building, pulling out her phone again to check the number of the room the Li family lived in.
302. . . The third floor. She walked up the stairs, her steps echoing in the confined space. The walls had drawings and advertisements on it, and there were piles of boxes and trash on the grounds, making the walking space very limited.
As she reached the second floor, she heard a door opening on the floor above her as she started walking up the new steps, turning the corner. Just as she was about to continue going up, she suddenly heard a familiar voice.
"I know!" She heard Li Yilan's obnoxious voice as the door slammed shut and she groaned, "Ughh!" Then, she heard the sound of heels getting closer and An Luxia's eyes widened as she realized that Li Yilan was coming down.
She immediately turned around and quietly tiptoed down the stairs, hiding beneath the area where the two staircases met. There was a lot of trash in the tiny area and she did not even know why she was hiding as she bent down, her eyes eyeing the area outside.
Before long, she saw a pair of sparkling red shoes that were at least 5 cm tall as they clicked against the dirty floor, walking down the stairs. Luckily, Li Yilan did not notice her as she walked down and disappeared.
After the sound of her footsteps had completely disappeared, An Luxia slowly peaked her head out of the area and stepped out, brushing off the dust that may have collected on her head. She quickly ran down the stairs and made it just in time to see Li Yilan enter a taxi several feet away from the apartment.
As the taxi drove off, An Luxia immediately got into the car and quickly told the driver to follow the taxi in front of them.
The driver was fast in following her directions and quickly started the car, going after the yellow taxi late in the night. Since it was dark, Li Yilan did not notice that she was being followed.
'Where is she going this late in the night?' An Luxia wondered as she kept her eyes on the fast-moving taxi. They drove back into the city but stayed at the very border. It took a while before the taxi stopped and they stopped a few feet behind them, keeping a distance to avoid getting caught.
There were no other cars around here, and they seemed to have stopped in front of this building. It seemed empty since the door and windows were all black and there was no sign on the building.
Li Yilan got out of the car and An Luxia saw that she was wearing a revealing black dress that was definitely not fit for her age, and she furrowed her eyebrows together as she watched Li Yilan enter the building.
She suddenly remembered what Mo Han had done and thinking that this might be of some use, she quickly pulled out her phone and snapped several pictures of Li Yilan entering the building, making sure to get her face.
Then, she got out of the car and followed her into the building. At once, she heard the booming loud music and when she got further into the building, she realized it was a bar.
Li Yilan was at a bar?
