Type-Moon, but the Servant is Tom

Chapter 26: The Servant Contract

Chapter 26: The Servant Contract

After the mockery, Tom was ready to throw Jerry out of the house once again.

"Hold on, Tom! Don't throw him just yet!" Startled by Tom's action, which seemed like he was about to throw Jerry out of the house again, Bai Song quickly stopped eating his melon, stood up, and timely called out to Tom.

If Jerry was thrown out again, it would probably be the last chance for him to enter the house.

Upon hearing this, Tom's motion to run forward came to a sudden halt. Fortunately, Tom was a cat with good balance, or else he would have stumbled and fallen. After stabilizing himself, Tom turned around with a bewildered expression, looking at Bai Song, wondering what he was up to.

At this moment, Jerry, held in Tom's hand, had the same perplexed look on his face. Neither of them knew what Bai Song had in mind.

Although Tom didn't know Bai Song's intentions, he didn't simply run to the door, open it, throw Jerry into the air, and kick him into the trash can. Instead, he held Jerry in one hand and walked cautiously towards Bai Song, looking somewhat uneasy.

Bai Song looked at Jerry, who was held in Tom's hand, and couldn't help swallowing his saliva.

This... was the second servant he had summonedJerry. He was a force to be reckoned with, almost on par with Tom.

Meanwhile, Jerry looked at Bai Song, slightly trembling, waiting for Bai Song to speak. In his mind, he wondered if Bai Song was going to make him do hard labor to pay for the broken tableware or something like that. He had no idea what he was about to face, but no matter what kind of creature it was, the fear of the unknown was undoubtedly the strongest.

Gazing at Jerry, tightly gripped in Tom's hand, Bai Song took a deep breath. Then, raising his head with an air of grandiosity, he asked in a dramatically heroic manner, "I ask you, are you my servant?"

........

..................

"?" Hearing this, Jerry blinked his eyes in confusion, taking quite a while to comprehend the meaning. A substantial question mark even appeared above his head. Finally, Jerry tilted his head and looked at Tom, who was holding him.

However, Tom was equally clueless about what Bai Song meant. He spread his empty left hand and shrugged his shoulders, indicating that he didn't understand either.

In the end, after exchanging a glance, the cat and the mouse both turned their attention to Bai Song, wanting to carefully listen to what exactly he meant.

"What am I even saying... How embarrassing..." After realizing that neither the cat nor the mouse responded after imitating Saber's speech, Bai Song immediately covered his face with his hand. It was a rare occasion where he could cosplay in a serious manner, and he had thought that Jerry would nod in agreement. However, the response he received was an awkward silence, which embarrassed him more than he expected.

Fortunately, the creatures in front of him were not humans but a cat and a mouse. At least they wouldn't mock him...

Chuckling However, as if fate had a sense of humor, just as Bai Song had that thought, Tom seemed to sense his embarrassment. Though he had no idea why Bai Song was feeling ashamed, Tom couldn't help but let out a laugh.

In the next moment, Bai Song's gaze fell upon Tom, causing him to break into a cold sweat. He quickly stood up straight, with large beads of sweat forming on his face. Even his legs trembled in fear. He felt like this time he was done for, and he had already mentally prepared himself to write a will.

However, Tom's worry was clearly unnecessary. After giving Tom a couple of glances, Bai Song... hardened. His fist clenched tightly!

But in the end, he didn't say anything and suppressed the resentment from being mocked.

Thinking to himself to stay calm, Bai Song took the initiative to sit on the ground near the coffee table. He then addressed the cat and mouse, saying, "Anyway, let's sit down for now."

Upon hearing this, Tom and Jerry exchanged another glance and both nodded. Jerry then used his hands to free himself from Tom's grip, successfully escaping. He then leaped down and landed on the coffee table, taking a seat.

Tom also sat down, conveniently on the ground behind Jerry.

"You just arrived here, right?" Bai Song looked at the mouse sitting on the tabletop and asked.

Jerry lowered his head, pondering for a moment. He thought about how he was in another room before he fell asleep and then woke up here. So, he nodded, assuming that he had just arrived.

Bai Song inwardly thought, just as he suspected. Jerry was indeed summoned during the summoning ritual that he thought had failed. It's just that the target was too small, and Jerry probably slipped into a mouse hole as soon as he was summoned, which is why Bai Song didn't notice.

However, it seemed that Jerry didn't have the knowledge of being a servant. Perhaps he just thought he had arrived at a new home. The first time Bai Song noticed Jerry, he was stealing the discounted bento he had bought.

"Well then, I have a proposal. Would you like to hear it?"

Upon hearing this, Jerry continued to obediently nod. Since he had nothing better to do, it wouldn't hurt to listen to what this person had to say.

Seeing Jerry's agreement, Bai Song proceeded to share the proposal he had thought of while waiting. "Next, I will provide you with food and shelter, and in return, you only need to offer a minuscule and insignificant amount of help. How does that sound?"

As he spoke, Bai Song extended his right hand and made an "OK" gesture, with his index finger and thumb slightly apart.

Upon hearing these words, Jerry, the entire mouse, suddenly became spirited. Being offered food and shelter meant that he wouldn't be hungry anymore.

Jerry couldn't believe this person was so generous, willing to provide him, a little mouse, with food and shelter. And all Jerry had to do was offer a minuscule and insignificant amount of help. Tom's owner was clearly a kind-hearted person!

When Jerry thought about it, what kind of help could a person possibly need from a small mouse like him? He couldn't help with anything at all. Even if there was something he could do, it would surely be effortless and nothing to worry about.

In other words, Jerry didn't have to do much at all and could enjoy a free meal!

Realizing this, Jerry became excited. He quickly stood up and ran across the coffee table to Bai Song's side. He grabbed Bai Song's left index finger with both hands and shook it rapidly, as if afraid that Bai Song would change his mind.

"Well... Pleasant cooperation!" Bai Song couldn't help but be amused by the enthusiastic little mouse. He had easily recruited a formidable combat force equivalent to Tom. And all he had to provide was a little bit of food. It was truly a win-win situation where he won twice!

On the rooftop of a high-rise building in a certain location in Fuyuki City, two girls with different hair colors, one purple and one orange, appeared in a faint blue spiritual particle glow. (TN: KITAAA......GUDAKO the beast of destruction is here )

"Is this... Fuyuki City in 1994? Senpai," one of the girls asked as she looked down at the bustling streets illuminated by lights. It was completely different from the Fuyuki City she remembered, which was like a human purgatory.
