Chapter 747 Primordya Veiluris (2)
When the spear exploded, the terrific power of the fused elements was unleashed to the fullest.
The Primordya Veiluris' right eye burst apart as a tricolored sun erupted where the sun had been located just a moment before. The tricolored sun was golden, silver and white in color, representing the color of the Powers that had been used.
While Dilan retreated in an instant to witness the damage he caused from further away, the others looked at the unfolding scenario with horror in their eyes.
Most could only see the tricolored sun emerging from within the eye of the Primrodya Veiluris and sense the terrific power that had been unleashed. The unleashed power was strong enough to push back even the strongest Primordials. They retreated subconsciously while their entire focus remained on the tricolored sun and the sight of the injured Primordya Veiluris.
The tricolored sun kept enlarging until it stagnated all of a sudden. After stagnating, it was only a matter of time before the sun slimmed down all of a sudden. Its power was compressed to focus the most lethal power at a single spot. By doing this, the damage caused in a specific area increased a thousandfold.
Dilan had planned to cause damage on a large scale first while causing fatal damage in a small spot, precisely the brain of the Primordya Veiluris.
He wanted to test out whether the Primrodya Veiluris could survive the attack or not. Thus, the compressed attack, merged from the Power of Sun, Destruction, and the Immortality Aura was shot to the brain of the humongous monstrosity the moment the large-scale damage had been caused.
The Primordya Veiluris was missing one of its two pitch-black eyes after the attack, yet it screamed out loudly only when the compressed attack pierced deeper into its hideous and humongous head.
It released a terrific amount of impure Chaos while screaming out that a shockwave erupted. The shockwave was even more horrifying than the shockwave Dilan's throw had caused, and it was intertwined with impure Chaos. The damage caused by the shockwave was not to be taken lightly.
Everyone was pushed back, whether they wanted to or not. If they didn't retreat with several means of protection activated at the same time, more than half of the Fate Changers' forces would have been killed.
There were some Ancients that had been a quarter of a second too late when unleashing their protective abilities and retreating. Their True Divinities may have been unleashed and a bunch of defensive armaments, yet, they were still killed…by a mere scream…
Dilan didn't use any means to defend himself other than keeping his True Divinity manifested.
If a single scream could already kill him for good, he might as well die for real.
When the shockwave reached him, he felt a bit of pain and dizziness overcoming him but it was nothing noteworthy in comparison to the things he had to go through in the past.
'Nial…is also doing fine…well, that was obvious…' Dilan figured when he glanced over to Nial, who had erupted a shield of Chaos in front of him. The Shield of Chaos absorbed the impure Chaos within the shockwave while the remaining impact was devoured by the black coat that covered most parts of his body.
Dilan was not sure what exactly the coat was made of, or how Nial got his hands on something like this but it was certainly a treasure.
"...the spear…" Nial mumbled his lower lip twitching.
"I used the spear pretty decently, don't you think? This huge idiot is now severely injured and it will be a lot less troublesome to kill it. Sacrificing the spear in exchange is nothing!" Dilan said, his voice sounding as if it was perfectly normal to sacrifice the spear.
Oricalm was still alive but it had to regenerate in Dilan's soul. That was fine, considering that the first surprise attack had caused so much damage. The tiny compressed sun had burned through the brain of the Primordya Veiluris. That was not enough to kill it from the looks of it, but Dilan had enough other means to end the final boss of this stage.
Only other Primordya such as Hoert would be stronger than the Primordya Veiluris, which meant that they couldn't lose against this one, otherwise, they would never be able to kill Hoert and overcome the prophecy!
'As long as Nial stops being a crybaby we will be fine!' Dilan thought, just for his head to turn to Nial whose expression had changed drastically upon realizing something by visualizing the mana around the Primordya Veiluris' injury.
"His wound doesn't heal…the Primordya Veiluris has super regeneration, so your attack shouldn't have done anything to him…did you block his regeneration?"
Nial had noticed quickly what Dilan had done by visualizing the finest details he could get his hands on from sensing the mana in his surroundings perfectly.
"I didn't block his regeneration, per se. The Power created from the fused Destruction Divinity and Undying Divinity created an effect that can be considered as healing nullification. It won't be possible for the Primordya Veiluris to heal its eye and the hole I drilled into its brain." Dilan clarified before he added,
"Of course, it could tear apart alf of its head and, at least, a quarter of its brain to remove the flesh and mass that had been infected with the Power of Undying Destruction, but I doubt that the Primordya Veiluris can survive like that!"
Dilan was not the only one who could survive brian but the reaction of the Primordya Veiluris showed pretty clearly that it was not able to do something like Dilan and a handful of other beings were capable of.
The Primordya Veiluris made confusing movements and it looked almost as if it had been crippled. That was what Dilan had hoped for but he didn't expect that it would actually work.
'I doubt that you're done. Show me what you've got!'
