Chapter 121: Chapter 119: A Date with Kara



[3rd POV] [Noonan's]

Sitting at a table in Noonan's, Talia was waiting for Kara. The date they planned was going to be a simple one, a movie, and a dinner at Noonan's. Simple, but exactly what Kara wanted.

'This is probably the simplest date I've had in a while' Talia thought, as most of her dates consisted of traveling around the world and seeing new and unique sites with the girls. But this one was simply a date in a restaurant they already knew, and a movie. Something Talia had to admit was...nice.

Talia didn't have to wait for long before she saw Kara enter the restaurant.

"Sorry I made you wait" Kara said apologetically, knowing that Talia had most likely been waiting for her for a while.

"It's alright, Kara. I've only been here for like ten minutes or so" Talia responded with a comforting smile, as it was true.

Sitting across from Talia, Kara blushed slightly at the way Talia was staring at her.

"Wh-what?" Kara stuttered.

"What, can I not stare at my adorkable girlfriend?" Talia asked, causing Kara to blush and shake her head.

"I-It's fine" Kara replied, causing Talia to smirk.

"So, how was your day today?" Talia asked, causing Kara to perk up.

"It was...nice. Miss Grant was way less...her today, and there wasn't much work to do. And I got those potstickers you sent me for lunch too, they were delicious!" Kara responded.

"Glad you liked them, love" Talia said, pleased that the potstickers were good. She had switched up the ingredients, using pork instead of chicken this time.n/o/vel/b//in dot c//om

"How was your day?" Kara asked, causing Talia to smile.

"It was...nice. I got some stuff done with my followers, and have officially wiped out the last of the Terrorist organizations on the planet" Talia responded causing Kara's eyes to widen. "Wow that is...amazing!" Kara said genuinely. As Clark had been trying to do it for a while, especially after Talia had started to wipe them out, but he couldn't get a good read on where they all were. Like rats in hidey holes. But Talia had found them all, and safely gave them over to the proper people to take care of them.

Kara had been paying close attention to Talia's heroic accomplishments, including the ones of her followers. And she was...a huge fan, like...Talia's biggest if she was to be honest. She had many pictures that were captured of her, hidden in a drawer in her bedroom. She had been closely following Talia's rate at which she was taking out mafia's, crime rings, terrorist organizations, etc. And it was...amazing, and on an entirely different level than even her cousin.

"Not as amazing as you" Talia replied cheesily, causing Kara to roll her eyes with a small smile.

"What can I get you folks?" The waiter asked as she walked around to them.

"I'll just have a burger please" Kara said.

"And I'll get a steak, medium rare" Talia said, causing the waiter to nod.

"Anything to drink?"

"Just a water will be fine" Kare responded, while Talia simply shook her head.

"So, how did you find them, the organizations I mean?" Kara asked, causing Talia to shrug.

"I've got some abilities that revolve around tracking, making it fairly easy to find them and take care of them" Talia replied.

"Now that I think about it, what abilities do you have? You're a Timelord, but you've got way more powers than a normal Timelord would" Kara asked, causing Talia to just smirk.

"Too many to count love, too many to count. But the main ones I've been using are the ones you know of. The Solar radiation manipulation, telekenesis, super strength, and all of that" Talia responded.

"How? I mean, you're just a Timelord, aren't you?" Kara asked.

"I'm more than just a timelord, Kara. I'm...quite a few different species in one, Timelord is simply the species I was born into, and the one I feel the most connections to" Talia replied with a shrug, as it was the truth. She felt more connections to the Timelord species than the others, for whatever reason.

"What species?" Kara asked, interested. She knew that it was pretty likely that Talia was more than just a Timelord, but she didn't know what else she was.

"Immortal, Kitsune, Werewolf, Vampire, Fairy, Witch, and many many more" Talia responded, causing Kara to look at her in shock.

"Witch? As in Magic?!" Kara asked, whisper yelling.

"Love, the multiverse is real, I am a Timelord, and you can fly. Is the idea of magic existing really all that shocking? Hope, Isabelle, and Clary can all use magic too" Talia replied, causing Kara to blink several times as she went silent, and opened her mouth a few times to refute, only to find that she couldn't.

"Okay...you've got a point there. Does that mean Harry Potter is real?" Kara asked, causing Talia to nod.

"Every universe you could possibly imagine, love. All of them"

"...Wow, I knew the multiverse was well...infinite, but I guess I didn't really think about that sort of thing" Kara said, realizing that she was severely underestimating the size of the multiverse, and the sheer scope of it.

Talia just chuckled at what she said, before the waiter handed them their meals, and walked away.

"It's good but...definitely not as good as your cooking" Kara said with hum, as she took a bite out of the burger. Talia, noticing a bit of sauce on her cheek, softly wiped it off with her thumb, causing Kara to blush.

"Th-Thank you" Kara stuttered, embarrassed.

"No problem, sweetheart" Talia said with a smile, as they continued to eat their food.

The rest of the date had continued smoothly, with the two of them happily chatting with one another, while eating.

Eventually they had left to the movie theater, where they went and saw a scary movie. That was also when Talia made the discovery that Kara was a HUGE scaredy cat. To the point that whenever a jumpscare appeared, she used Talia as a blocker, which Talia found to be

absolutely adorable, and kind of funny.

At the moment the two were walking through the halls of Kara's apartment, before stopping in front of her apartment door.

"I had a really really fun time, Talia" Kara said genuinely, smiling as this was easily the best date she had been on in her entire life.

"I'm happy you did love, as it just means we'll have to do this again in the future" Talia said, causing Kara to smile brightly, before leaning forward and softly kissing Talia on her lips,

blushing in the process.

"Good night, Talia, l-love you" Kara said softly, as she opened her door.

"Good night to you, Kara. And I love you as well" Talia responded, as she Kara closed her door behind her, allowing Talia to hear a soft squeal escaping Kara's lips, causing Talia to let out a laugh, before she teleported off, happy with the date.

That's the end of the chapter!

Next chapter will be another timeskip, probably a longer one. Like I said, there is a lot of time

that passes in between episodes, and there isn't any major events involving Talia at the moment, besides the occasional date. And just as I said, her and Kara are going slower than any of the other girls did, entirely because of Kara's personality. Next chapter will most likely be her getting her shinobi class maxed out.

Give me some ideas for quests that are similar to the ones she has been receiving, like the terrorist one. What other things could she wipe out (without causing serious issues) that can reasonably give her rewards? Or just give quest ideas in general! If I use yours, I'll give you a
