Chapter 30: Support

The next morning, Wang Hao sat cross-legged on his messy bed. His body trembled, and an invisible wind surged out of his body and filled the room.
I’m a Level-Eight Martial Apprentice now. I’m much stronger. Wang Hao opened his eyes and clenched his fists. His strength had doubled.
Somebody knocked on the door.
Wang Hao was slightly dazed. It was a miracle that somebody visited him!
Wang Hao opened the door, only to see Ke Yong stooping obsequiously before him. The man said, “Greetings, Mr. Wang. We’ve met again.”
Wang Hao squinted at Ke Yong. He was so arrogant last time. Why did he look like this now? Something must be wrong!
“Mr. Wang, I didn’t allow you to take the level-three pistol because too many people were watching. I’ve brought it to you now that it’s over. I’ve also brought five magazines that contain fifty bullets in total.” Ke Yong gave the box to Wang Hao regretfully. The fifty bullets cost him more than five million.
Wang Hao opened the box and saw a silver pistol with “Silver Wolf” on it as well as five magazines fully loaded with bullets.
“Silver Wolf, a military weapon with level-three damage.” Wang Hao touched the gun. It was fast and powerful and could even be used to deal with a Grandmaster like Principal Zhong Li.
Of course, that is, if he could prevent himself from being blown away by the recoil of the gun.
“Mr. Wang, could you say something nice for me in front of Mr. Gao?” Ke Yong was relieved that Wang Hao accepted the gift.
Narrowing his eyes, Wang Hao smiled, knowing that the chief must’ve been invited to the wedding, too. He said, “All right, since you’re so frank, I’ll root for you next time I meet Uncle Gao.”
〈〈Ding-dong. The host has been successfully bribed. Reward: 3,000 Villain Points.〉〉
Wang Hao rolled his eyes. This could give him Villain Points, too? It felt truly... great!
“Thank you for your help, Mr. Wang. We’ll talk later,” Ke Yong thanked him. “Since your contest is starting soon, I’ll stop bothering you.”
“My contest!”
Greatly surprised, Wang Hao hurried to wash his face and brush his teeth. Then, he soared to the sky on Dragon, hoping that the inter-school contest hadn’t started yet.
...
In the No. 11 High School, Principal Zhong Li looked awful. It was truly annoying that Wang Hao was late for the inter-school contest.
The high school students of the No. 11 High School had obviously run out of patience.
“What is Wang Hao doing exactly?”
“Nothing good, definitely.”
“The No. 11 High School will be late if we do not leave right now.”
“Wang Hao is truly a nuisance. He’s making Goddess Weiwei and Goddess Le Xuan late, too.”
“Goddess? They’re his women now!”
“What are you talking about? Wang Hao was bait that our principal sent out. My goddesses are still innocent.”
“Do you really believe that? You do not know what kind of person Wang Hao is?”
“Buddy, stop fooling yourself. The three goddesses of the No. 11 High School are no longer innocent.”
“I don’t believe it. My goddesses are still innocent.”
“Forget it. This guy is out of his mind. I hope that he can stay in his delusion.”
“...”
Hum! Hum!
Suddenly, they heard the thunderous noises of an engine and saw Dragon descending vertically from the sky.
“Is it Dragon?” exclaimed the students. Dragon was a private spaceship that only the rich could afford.
They all rubbed their eyes when Wang Hao got off Dragon. How could Wang Hao afford a private spaceship?
“Brat, come here now! You’re late!” Zhong Li picked up Wang Hao and threw him into a small plane.
“Hey, old man, what about my Dragon when I’m away?” shouted Wang Hao.
Zhong Li glared at him. “Nobody can touch it as long as I’m here. Do not disappoint me.”
Hearing that, Wang Hao could only enter the small plane and sit next to Le Xuan.
Xia Weiwei glanced at Wang Hao and sniffed. She was obviously still angry that Wang Hao kissed her yesterday.
Soon, the plane took off and disappeared in the clouds.
The students of the No. 11 High School cheered. They had graduated this moment. All they needed to do was go home and watch the inter-school contest.
Ten satellites had been aimed at the ground for the inter-school contest for a livestream from all perspectives.
...
On the small plane, ignoring Wang Hao, Le Xuan took out a black suitcase that contained a level-two revolver with hundreds of bullets, a level-two dagger, many military landmines, and many grenades.
Xia Weiwei was not interested in talking with Wang Hao, either. She also opened a black box. Then, she put a sword that was even taller than herself on her back and slung a sheath, which was a laser sword, around her waist. There were also plenty of landmines and grenades.
Wang Hao’s lips twitched. Why did they bring so many weapons? Were they going to blow up the match ground?
“Wang Hao, where are your weapons?” asked Le Xuan.
“Cough! Cough!”
Wang Hao coughed to cover his embarrassment. His equipment was the polar opposite of the two women’s.
He had a Level-One Stealth Cloak, which was of little use in front of Martial Masters.
He had a level-one dagger, which could only deal limited damage to Martial Masters.
He also had a Level-Two Electromagnetic Ring that could paralyze Martial Masters at best. It was impossible for him to hurt them with such a ring.
The only remarkable weapon he had was Silver Wolf, the level-three pistol. However, he was too weak to bear the recoil of the gun for now.
“Are these all the things you’ve prepared?” Xia Weiwei couldn’t help but rub her forehead when she saw what Wang Hao presented.
The equipment was enough for an arena match, but they were going to a battle which had absolutely no rules. There were bound to be deadly weapons such as landmines and grenades.
Somebody was even using mecha. With Wang Hao’s current gear, he would be committing suicide if he were to challenge them.
“Actually, this weapon is not bad at all.” Le Xuan took Silver Wolf and wiped it softly as if it were her lover.
“However, the recoil of the gun will definitely break your arm after one shot. It will be a suicide attack.” Xia Weiwei shook her head.
Le Xuan put down the pistol and handed over a few landmines and grenades to Wang Hao. “Keep those for self-defense. Weiwei and I will be the main attackers when the battle starts. You can join when the timing is appropriate.”
Briefly stunned, Wang Hao observed Le Xuan and Xia Weiwei carefully, only to discover that they were already Level-One Martial Masters. No wonder they looked down on him and asked him to be the support...
