UNLIMITED SPEED

Chapter 612 612. POWER AND DOMINANCE

Chapter 612  612. POWER AND DOMINANCE

Deep within an unknown region in the lands of Cregar, the figure of a lady sat cross-legged, floating in a seemingly endless area brimming with vibrant purple light.

The lady's eyes snapped open when a certain piece of information got to her. Hergracefully floating hair experiencing a tremor.

Deep purple eyes almost akin to gems gleamed with brilliance as for the first time in a while she took her attention off something rather important.

Amongst her siblings, it was public knowledge that the heir of the god of speed had returned to their world, and although he had led to the death of a few of their servants, the world had still called upon him.

Setting up a meeting that although they had tried to take part in; were denied access.

A strange and rather infuriating issue.

Still.

A purple screen appeared before the radiant lady whose face shone with youthful vibrancy but pulsed with an ancient vibe. That feeling wouldn't be wrong since it was true that she had been around for several millennia.

Having somewhat been discouraged in the affairs of the heir, she felt confusion seep into her mind when the scene of the death of the same heir played out on the screen.

This had been transmitted by one of her brothers. The king of the sky.

Her gaze shifted, inspecting several details in the video. She couldn't believe her eyes.

"What is the meaning of this?" Her words rang out as though she spoke to someone right in front of her.

Nevertheless, a tremor in the purple radiance she emitted unfolded and the voice of a man reached her ears.

"From the looks of things he actually died." The man revealed the obvious, and she glared at the space in front of her.

"We sent several scouts to search the area, but all they could find was the inscriptions made by the tier five being, Adonis," the man's disembodied voice explained. In truth, he wasn't actually there.

"Scouts?" The lady asked, her voice containing a tinge of annoyance.

"Not just any type of scouts. But not to disrupt the laws I had to send only fifth-tier scouts. And they brought back all the details they discovered."

<nulli>Silence.

"He died… so <nulli>easily? I understand he had gone up against a fifth tier, but it shouldn't be that easy. Did he not have means to escape even us?"

"That was due to Thanses's help though… maybe he had truly hit the last of his potential," the man tried to make sense of the scenes.

"True… but you have seen the teleportation skill he utilize." She paused. "It evades even our powers. I refuse to believe he had been cornered. There has to be more to this," she speculated, nodding her head.

"Watch for now. He had met with one of Thanses's servants. They might have plotted something."

"You say this even if you sound uncertain… maybe he truly his dea-" The man was cut short.

"Just do as I said, watch out for Thanses's next action, but don't agitate the bastard. We don't want what happened last time to repeat itself."

The man remained silent even if she understood that he would do as she said. He dared not do so after all.

Despite their status as Immortals, there were still those of higher power, she was one of those higher powers.

After she sensed that her brother's influence had vanished she could only fall into thought herself.

Truth be told, after Noah had been summoned by Cregar and they were shut off, she had fallen into confusion and was still in confusion.

'Is he not as dangerous as the prophesy says?' She questioned a major source of her drive to eradicate the being titled the heir of the god of speed.

Heaving a sigh her gem-like eyes closed shut again and her figure blazed with intense purple light. The scene of Noah's death played in her mind, troubling her. She wondered if their troubles and worry were over.

Still, the Immortal of Time could not shake off the feeling that things were not over yet.

Quite the opposite, she sensed in her being that the very things they hoped to steer away would come to pass and she feared greatly for the world.

.

.

Deep within the dark continents, in a region soon to be revealed, a certain individual stood amid a plain known as the Plain of Shadows.

It had been named this due to the creatures that walked its surface at certain times of the day. Shadow beasts.

The individual being a lady, began to float whilst remaining still, as though awaiting the arrival of something.

And that case wouldn't be wrong since not too long after, a new presence arrived on the field and a completely black cloud formed above the area.

Within the sky already past sundown, the manifestation of that dark cloud completely shielded all sorts of light in that still serene plain.

Yet. The lady's figure began to glow and soon her radiance became far too distinct to not notice.

The deep purple and yellow light her figure exuded caused the very grass below her to glow the same shades.

The dark cloud rumbled despite the lack of sparks in them. The outline of a draconic being formed by reason of the movement of the clouds and blazing crimson eyes flickered into existence.

"Princess," the voice growled with enough intensity to shake that region. "Have I not warned that you never returned here? For that, I shall end you."

Finally, thunder rumbled and the power distinctive to that of a being past the beginning stages of the fifth tier roiled forth with might.

Spiralling pillars of darkness fell from the sky. Their numbers crossing hundreds.

The instant they touched the ground, strange shadowy figures all about 20m in height manifested. The creatures resembled giant humanoid figures in massive battle armor. But some resembled giant beasts.

The lady remained still despite the sheer force manifesting around her.

Finally, a crimson pillar fell from the dark cloud and an ominous aura seeped into existence.

Compared to the rest of the shadowy figures, this particular one remained leagues above them in terms of power.

Heaving a soft sigh whilst her starry golden gaze remained listless, the lady opened her mouth to speak with a soft tone. "I have come here to talk... just like the last time. But this time-"

She cut her own words short by allowing her aura to flow forth and the entire area lit up with a deep yellow light similar to an ocean wave expanding with power.

Her influence stopped every other thing except the crimson shadow being.

Slowly lifting her left arm, a strange orange energy gathered above her palm with swirling intensity before shooting towards the sky to clash with its power.

"-I have come with dominance and with power."

Her simple statement gained even more weight when her energy ended up punching a massive hole in the dark clouds and half of the shadowy figures vanished due to that loss of energy.

That display would be the first win of a battle that had been put on hold for several centuries.
