Chapter 570 - Do You Feel Proud Of Yourself?

When their drink order came, someone noticed that when Lihua only ordered a bottle of water, so she rendered that she was pregnant and mentioned it.

"Ah! Lihua, seeing you drink only a bottle of water, I remembered you were pregnant, congratulations!!!."

And with that, the good-hearted ones started sending out their congratulatory messages.

Chen Lihua thanked them and resumed drinking her water until one of them asked,

"Lihua, why don't you let us see your son, I'm sure he is as good-looking as you and Mr. Liu."

"Sorry, but I don't have plans to reveal his face any time soon. I would prefer to keep it that way." Chen Lihua replied.

"Oh, what a pity!." One of them exclaimed. The others sighed disappointedly.

But one of the young men in the room was good enough to ask Chen Lihua to at least show them the picture of her son, and she agreed.

She took out her phone from her bag and browsed through her gallery to find a picture of Taio. And within a minute, she found the perfect picture to show off.

Chen Lihua passed her phone to the class President as she said to him.

"Please, I would have to trouble you to let them see the picture."

"No problem." The class President said with a smile as he first glanced at the picture before holding the phone and letting the other classmates take a look at the picture.

"Wow! He is so cute!."

"Look how handsome he is..."

"I bet he looks so much like his father."

"If I had a cute son like this, I will definitely hide him away."

Chen Lihua listened as her classmates praise her son, and a proud smile appeared on her face, but she hid it immediately.

"Do you feel proud of yourself?." Chynna whispered to her.

"Why not?!." Chen Lihua agreed without denying it.

XiaoXiao gave Chen Lihua a thumbs-up ?

The one with the haughty attitude pretended as if she wasn't interested in the picture, but she still peeped at the picture, and she confessed to herself that Taio was indeed good-looking.

The class President returned the phone to Chen Lihua after passing the picture to the rest of the classmates.

Chen Lihua thanked him and put her phone back into her bag. She was afraid of anyone stealing the picture and sharing it with the public, so she had to send the Class President to hold the phone while those interested in the picture, could take a look at it.

"Who is that young lady sitting beside Lihua, I haven't seen her before?." The haughty classmate asked the person sitting beside her.

"You don't know because you came late. She was our deputy class president back then in school." The person replied.

"Chynna?." The woman said in a low tone as she glanced towards Chynna's direction.

"Yes, she is Chynna. During the introduction section, she said she was sick for a long time, and that's why nobody knew anything about her." The classmate replied.

"So what happened to her back then was true?." The haughty woman said as a wicked smile appeared on her face.

"What happened to her?." The classmate asked with a confused look, but she didn't receive any response.

The haughty woman looked towards Chynna's direction and called out to her.

"Hey, I heard you are Chynna."

Her voice was audible enough, so she was able to garner the attention she seemed.

Chynna glanced at her without saying anything. Since that woman stepped into the room, she hasn't liked her attitude for one bit.

"Indeed you are Chynna. I heard from one of us that you said you were sick for a while, and that's shy we didn't know your whereabouts. Did you also tell them you were locked up because you went crazy?." The haughty woman revealed with an evil smile, and her best friend chimed in.

"I also heard of many years ago, that you indeed went crazy and was locked up, and your family denied you, so don't think of lying about it."

And there arose an uproar in the room. Those that once heard the rumor, started to speculate if it was true.

"This, how do I settle this?." The class president whispered to Chen Lihua.

"Chynna will settle it herself." Chen Lihua said without worries.

Seeing that Chynna wanted to speak, the class pressure calmed everybody down, so Chynna could speak.

"You are right, I indeed had psychological issues after witnessing the death of my parents and the trauma that came with it."

After Chynna confirmed the news, the hushed voice grew louder as everyone was seen talking to their neighbor.

"These people are so annoying? I mean, it's there a need to overreact?." Xiaoxiao said in an annoyed tone.

"It's fine for them to talk, it is quite normal." Chen Lihua said.

The class president tried to calm everybody down again, but he failed to do so, so Chynna continued talking, so they were forced to shut up and listen to her.

"...I went through a lot to be okay, and to stand in front of everybody here. It wasn't easy, but Lihua and her family helped me through my most difficult time, and I will forever be grateful to them," Chynna said emotionally.

Her words touched her classmates, and most of them began to regret their actions earlier.

"This is what best friends are for..."

"Yes. Imagine Chynna went through a lot, and the only person there for her was Chen Lihua."

'These lots are talking too much!." The haughty woman muttered under her breath before drawing the attention towards herself again.

"Chynna, don't lie here. We all know that your best friend here traveled out to study for some years, and even made it to a lot of fashion magazines, so how did she help you?." The haughty woman asked.

Chynna glanced at her and replied with an unfazed look, "When Lihua was away, her mother was there for me."

"So you are saying that Chen Lihua didn't contribute to your wellbeing?." The haughty woman's friend asked.

"Heh! Don't try to twist her words!." XiaoXiao said as she pointed at the woman in anger.
