Chapter 5 - LUCAS' ANGER
Lucas managed to get inflamed, making everyone in the room look terrified.
"Take off the dress! why are you still standing there?" Ellena who saw the glint of anger on Lucas' face, immediately rushed to the dressing room.
"Where is the owner of this boutique?" Lucas asked those in the room.
"Sh-she's attending a fashion show overseas, Sir." Merry answered in a slightly trembling tone, she didn't even dare to look Lucas in the face.
"Tell her, find me the most beautiful wedding dress. If necessary, get a dress designed by an international designer. In two days I will be back here. I hope you will not disappoint me!" Lucas immediately left, after Ellena finished changing her clothes.
Ellena could only surrender when Lucas pulled her hand and took her away from the boutique.
Lucas was driving at full speed, making Ellena who was beside him look terrified. Ellena didn't know what made Lucas so angry.
When he arrived at a street that was so quiet, Lucas pulled the car over abruptly. This made Ellena very surprised.
"Arrgh, damn it!" Lucas was seen several times hitting his hand on the steering wheel in front of him.
"Mr, enough! Your hand ...." Ellena tried to stop, as soon as she saw Lucas' hand was already red from the deliberate impact.
"Don't touch me!" He snapped.
Lucas slapped Ellena's hand that was just about to touch hers. Suddenly made Ellena groan because the edge is very, very strong.
"Never touch me, without my permission!" Those eyes still showed a glint of anger.
Ellena froze, not daring to look at the face of the man beside her. She looked away when she noticed a clear crystal dripping from the corner of her eye. She immediately wiped it off.
"I'll take you home." Lucas returned to driving, after he managed to vent his anger.
After thirty minutes of travel, Ellena spoke up. "Thank you, Sir."
"Your motorbike will be delivered directly to your house, give me the address." Lucas was still focused on the steering wheel.
Ellena was seen taking a piece of paper and a pen from her sling bag.
"I'll just stop at the front stop, Sir," said Ellena, pointing to a bus stop.
"Are you sure?" Lucas looked at the woman beside him who was still looking down.
"Yes, Sir. Don't you have much work to do? You will only be wasting your precious time by dropping me off." Ellena's answer this time was enough to make Lucas flabbergasted.
"Thank you, Sir, for your kindness." Ellena handed Lucas a slip of paper with her address on it.
Lucas was still watching the girl who was walking further away from his car.
Lucas immediately drove his car back, because there was something he had to finish immediately.
Lucas seemed to put the handsfree to his ear, then contacted someone through the phone line.
"Replace the item with a new one. Deliver it now to the address I just sent!" Lucas asked someone on the other end.
Meanwhile, Ellena goes to a city park not far from the bus stop, when she notices Lucas' car that has gone far away from her. She deliberately did not return home to her rented house. She thought She needed time to reflect on what had just happened to her.
"Oh my God, should I be grateful for all this?" Ellena said softly.
Before Ellena could end her daydream, suddenly the ringing of her cell phone made her gasp. Ellena immediately grabbed the flat object from her bag. Whether she should be sad or happy, when she saw her lover's name printed on the cellphone screen.
"Hello, Ken!" said Ellena to Keenan who was far away.
"Hello, Honey, are you all right? Were you too busy that you forgot to call me?" Keenan chirped while asking some questions.
"Yes, I'm fine. Sorry, I was late, so I didn't have time to contact you, because I had to go straight to the office." He added, trying to answer a myriad of questions and complaints from her boyfriend.
"You know what? I'm so worried about you. I don't know why I feel bad, I haven't stopped thinking about you all day, are you really okay?" said Keenan again to make sure.
"Sure, I'm fine. Sorry for worrying you. Emm ... looks like we have to end our conversation soon, I have some work to finish soon," said Ellena who was clearly lying.
"You don't miss me?" Keenan protested.
"I missed you so much, but—"
"Okay, I understand. Take care of your health, don't be too tired from work. I'll definitely miss you. Love you. Bye, Honey." Keenan cut in which suddenly made Ellena smile instantly.
One thing that Ellena admired about Keenan was that she was always gentle to her and always gave her attention which made it seem as if she was the most important part of Keenan's life. She must be very happy to have a good boyfriend like Keenan. However, the longer she talked with Keenan, the more guilt Ellena felt. She still wasn't ready to explain everything that had happened to her to Keenan, even though she really wanted to tell.
Ellena took a deep breath, having hung up the phone.
"I'm sorry, Ken, it won't be long, and I'll be right back with you." She whispered.
Not long after she put her phone back in her bag, it rang again. Again Ellena could not continue her contemplative activities.
"Ellena!" Someone's scream deafened Ellena's ears, causing her to immediately pull the phone away from her ear. When she felt safe enough, she put the flat object back to her ear.
"What's wrong, Filia? Why shout like that, can't you speak slowly?" replied Ellena.
"Elle, where are you now?" asked Filia.
"I'm at work, Filia."
"Lies! Hurry home now, Elle! I know you're not at work. You're all right, aren't you?"
"Yeah, I'm fine," Ellena replied while looking at her ankle which looked a little swollen.
"I don't want to know, you're home right now! I'm waiting!" Filia insisted, then immediately ended their chat.
"Oh my God, what's wrong with her?" Ellena hissed as she stared at her phone screen.
Ellena looked confused, how did her friend know that she was not in the office. Could it be that the boss at the office contacted Filia to inquire about her whereabouts? However, didn't Lucas already allow her to go home? She thought.
Ellena looked nervous, she immediately ordered a taxi online to take her home.
Throughout the journey Ellena seemed uneasy. Of course she thought of Filia's motorbike. Somehow she had to explain to Filia about the motorbike she had damaged in the accident. Even though Lucas said she would take care of everything, she was still confused. However, when she arrived at the boarding house, Ellena was surprised by a new motorbike that was exactly the same as her friend's motorbike which was parked in front.
"Whose motorbike is this? Why is it so similar to Filia's motorbike?" her mind at that time
