Chapter 703 Final Sacrifice.
"Kekekeke!"
The demonic laughter reverberated across blood-stained streets. The corpses of both sides had started to pile up on the sidewalks, with running blood flowing down the pavement.
The flowing blood fell into the small crater, with small pebbles bouncing down. At the bottom of the crater, a silver-haired goddess was lying down in pain. She was struggling to stand up, but most of her pain was mental-related.
Tap, tap, tap, tap!
A several footsteps stopped beside the crater. They belonged to Anti-Social and Axcel.
"..." Anti-Social didn't speak a word. Instead, he aimed his finger toward Gaia and was about to use his split attack.
"Wait." Axcel lowered Anti-Social's finger and said, "Isn't it wasteful to kill her so soon? The war is basically won by now. Might as well have some fun; you get what I mean?"
"She is Primordial Goddess. If we underestimate her even the slightest, she will kill us." Anti-Social shrugged Axcel's arm away with disdain. "Our job is to finish her off, and we better do it."
"..." Axcel's gaze grew cold, and as he turned to Gaia, he clicked his tongue while thinking about what a waste.
Anti-Social raised his finger, pointed it at Gaia and was about to unleash the attack. But then, the earth shook while the black dome that surrounded the sky and everything around them started cracking out of nowhere.
Axcel whipped his head upward toward the sky and was baffled. "Is Lucifer taking down black dome?"
"No, it is being destroyed from outside!"
...
Lucifer turned toward the black dome with shock. The cracks spread across the dome bit by bit. Like clockwork, the earth shook heavily as a loud "Thump" reverberated across the sky. It was as if someone was hitting their fist against something!
"What is this?" His hair blew backward as the wind blew through him. "The black dome is not made of solid material... how can it be broken? This doesn't make any sense."
Thump, thump, thump!
The ground cracked and shook. The rocks rolling down the land started slowly hovering before crashing back to the ground. Thump, thump!
"Everyone, regroup!" Lucifer shouted at everyone.
The screaming demons stopped their onslaught against their enemies and rushed out of the White Paradise like a horde. The Demon Lords and Kings gathered behind Lucifer.
The Primordial Gods finally had time to breathe and quickly retreated to White Paradise.
"Gaia!" Chronos stopped next to Gaia, started carrying her, and briskly ran through the streets, where he joined everyone at the foot of the Legacy Company building.
The injured soldiers staggered out of the streets, looking dispirited, and there were still not-yet-dried-out tearstains on their cheeks. Then, the remaining Chain Breakers and Legacy Figures appeared, all of whom had some degree of injury.
"What is happening?" Eros asked, while his left arm had been completely mutilated.
"Someone strong is coming." Chaos closed her eyes and slightly smirked. 'It's time for some disorder. I hope you are ready, Oliver.'
Inside a desolate building, which was located at the far east in White Paradise and half-destroyed with the second floor completely gone. Then, the door to the basement opened, revealing Oliver with an unusually pale face.
He was bare-chested, and there was an "X" mark on his chest that seemed to be... beating, like a heart.
'Time for the disorder. I hope you didn't change your mind.'
Oliver shook his head and staggered toward the broken door. "No... I am ready."
'Good... The war cannot be won without sacrifices, and now, you shall be the "Final Sacrifice".'
"I know, no need to share your sales pitch." Oliver lumbered through the broken door and entered a chilly environment. "Isaac... you better not fuck this up. You might be an annoying bastard, but you've never let any of your fellow schoolmates down, and I hope you don't start now."
With one last step, Oliver disappeared into the streets.
Da-dum-da-dum-da-dum...
The drums started reverberating across the sky.
...
Da-dum-da-dum-da-dum...
"A drums?" Mammon cleaned his ear with his finger after hearing the rhythmic drumming noises. It was different from demonic drums, which sounded hateful and evil. The current drumbeat sounded powerful enough to make the whole earth shake.
Lucifer looked down at the black dome and said, "The sound is coming behind the black dome, through the cracks."
Everyone turned to the same cracks, which started slowly spreading across the sky. It made the black dome look like a window, which was about to be broken.
They all tensed up because they knew that the black dome would be broken in less than a minute. They couldn't do anything to stop it.
THUMP! THUMP! THUMP!
At the end of that minute, all the demons flinched as one more "Thump" echoed from the distance. Then, the black dome started falling apart before disappearing into specks of light.
...
In the center of the multiverse, a black void of space resided. It was a place that was unreachable by both gods and demons. It was called the "Forbidden Zone" of everything, and it was a place where creatures of darkness lurked.
Inside the Forbidden Zone, a pale-skinned man with hairless body sat in the middle of dark space cross-legged. He donned baggy robes that barely fit his unusually skinny body. His eyes were immensely black, like his eyes were replaced by marbles.
His skin was so pale that it looked like it had been corrupted by the endless darkness.
Around him, hideous-looking creatures lurked in the darkness, and they were all similar in size to some of the galaxies. Once in a while, their blood-red eyes appeared in the darkness and brought horror to everyone who saw them.
This was a scene that Satan witnessed before his death, and Isaac also witnessed it.
However, Satan missed this pale-skinned person, but Isaac didn't. They even locked gazes once, and, unknown to everyone, a battle between two of the strongest people in existence started happening.
The pale-skinned person's name was "Demon". He was the forefather of the entire Demon Race and was the person who created them from scratch. He possessed the strength of every demon in existence, and even if all of them fought against him, he would still win.
This was a creature who could kill everyone just with a single thought, and shockingly, Isaac survived the meeting and even looked him straight in the eye.
And now, Demon felt that the annihilation of the entire demon race was nearing. Therefore, after millions of years, he finally stopped sitting and stood up.
