Chapter 122
122 Five elements circulation
The flame surrounding his body slowly receded bringing Shi Chen out of his memories and introspection propelling him into the new stage, opening his shut eyes a mysterious realm enveloped the area around him, the breakthrough was over, the legendary stage had been finally achieved.
Layton felt the subtle pressure Shi Chen was exuding and dragged his mind out of the construct universe in the gem, he opened his shut eyes to see a naked Shi Chen, noticing the lack of flames around the naked body and the mysterious realm that enveloped a certain area around him Layton was aware that the breakthrough was over.
Unable to bear the sight of the naked male body any longer Layton quickly fumbled in his pocket and brought out Shi Chen’s space ring, it had been kept with him before the process started in order for it not to be damaged by the divine flame.
Shi Chen caught the thrown ring and quickly brought out and wore a piece of clothing covering his naked body, once his simple clothes had been donned upon his flesh he closed his eyes to catch a quick glimpse of the benefits his promotion had brought.
All aspects of his body had been promoted, his speed strength, vitality and so on, he could feel that his lifespan had been exponentially increased to a near ridiculous amount and it seemed his lifespan could be replenished by absorbing and refining the elemental particles and energy that abound.
Opening his eyes he looked around and noticed he could see the energy floating in the air, the energies and vitality abound in the air were clearly presented before him, normally it would take some effort to try and perceive the energy around but presently he could see it all without any stress at all as if it had become his instinct, his other senses had gone through exaggerated changes also, the control of his body had gone farther and with the help of his domain, Shi Chen could fell that he could faintly influence more hidden layers of his body allowing his body to release concentrated energy hidden in the cells at will, a punch being equal to a bomb was no longer a joke but a reality.
Shi Chen naturally tested his feelings and lightly punched forward, a small explosion occurred, it wasn’t as he expected, the yield was not as huge as a large explosion more like a grenade.
It only took a moment for him to remember that he was still in school city and the spatial structure naturally still affected him.
“Well the scan is done, your casual blow can in fact reach the yield of a large bomb in a normal environment, your vitality is off the charts and according to the scans there is no trace of runes in your system, however, your body structure does have some peculiar changes.” Layton lightly commented not taking his eyes off the projected screen that was displaying various physical values.
.....
“Apart from the obvious, such as the change in the colour of your blood and your increased muscle density, your five internal organs have undergone some peculiar renovations, although they look the same the internal tissues and muscles seems to be specifically arranged in a particular format interconnected with each other generating a circulating five-element aura,” Layton said as he stared at the faint five-colour light being displayed on the screen, a little bit entranced by the seemingly random but profound change of colours in the light circulation of the martial artist body.
“This means they are responsible for your seemingly inexhaustible lifespan, once your lifespan is used or damaged the organs through their various circulatory systems absorbs the external energy around filter it and create more five elemental auras to replenish the lost life span.” Layton continued and explained noticing the bland look on Shi Chen’s face, sure enough as this was said a smile couldn’t help but be displayed on the martial artist face, judging from the little clues he had noticed before it was obvious Shi Chen was a martial artist on the physical side and the situation of abundant vitality to a physical side martial artist was like giving wings to a tiger, especially when the vitality seemed theoretically unlimited.
Layton was naturally curious about the format the connected five organs took to give birth to this situation but the computer and scanner in the research room were not powerful enough to achieve the task, in fact, the version of computer and scanner used in the research team was inferior a cheap knockoff if you will and was naturally not strong enough to fully deal with legendary stage affairs.
The self-contained magical field of legends made the computer unable to accurately decipher and present data, the data being presented was just a highly accurate approximation a very close guess and even then these values would drastically change when the field was excited and depending on the degree of the completion and type of domain generated the difference would be even greater.
This was most especially true for martial artists like Shi Chen who obviously placed great importance on their physical bodies.
After a few more unsuccessful tries and calculations, Layton realizing he would not be able to get any more accurate data Layton naturally just simply gave up, he was just merely curious It did not matter whether he could figure it out or not, after all, he was not in a position where he needed exuberant vitality and he could faintly guess that the reason behind the emergence of such a phenomenon within Shi Chen’s body was hard to duplicate as it was most likely related to the type of domain he had constructed.
Although Layton was curious about what kind of domain Shi Chen had created Layton knew well not to ask after all they weren’t that close yet for him to ask something so personal this was because for most the domain was a trump card, a wild card which could sometimes change the course of a whole battle or war, for those who do not possess absolute power to destroy all conspiracy and tricks the domain was a vital part of their battle system which under normal circumstances should not be easily revealed.
After a quick congratulations, Layton naturally left the newly promoted legend allowing him to fully appreciate the changes that had happened to him, after all Layton had a big day tomorrow as it was already time for the mandatory plane erosion by the wizard civilization.
