Chapter 3: The widow -2
The innkeeper's gaze flicked briefly to the bulging spirit stone pouch hand led to her as a sly smile tugged at the corners of her glossy lips.
She feigned surprise as she counted the stones, her lashes fluttering delicately as she pretended to double-check... Making sure that each stone was here.
"Oh my, it seems your pouch is quite heavy, Young Master," she murmured. Her index finger traced a delicate path along the edge of the pouch, before gently inserting it between her dual mountain
" You're planning to stay for the full 12 days, then... I hope Young Master have a good rest," she adds.
Xian Tian, utterly mesmerized by the innkeeper's captivating allure, managed to nod his head.
His eyes had perfectly followed each subtle movement of her slender finger, tracing against the fabric of the pouch to placing it between her womanly weapons.
He felt flustered, his heart thumping against his chest not to mention; The innkeeper's voice held a seductive hint, and her every action seemed to further ensnare him in her web.
"Y-Yes, I'll need to stay for 12 days," he stammered, his voice betraying a touch of nervousness.
A soft, sensual chuckle escaped the innkeeper's lips, her voice dripping with a hint of surprise. "Oh, 12 days! If I may; What could possibly require the young master to stay so long?"
She took a slow, deliberate step toward him, her hips swaying slightly with a hypnotizing grace.
Her scent, a heady blend of exotic flowers and subtle hints of musk, enveloped him, making his head spin.
Gulp!
Xian Tian swallowed hard, his gaze locked on the innkeeper's hips as they swayed gently before him.
He tried to focus, but her scent seemed to cloud his thoughts.
Her seductive mannerisms made every interaction feel like a dance of wits, and he was clearly just a pawn in her game.
"I-It's for business matters," he managed to stammer, his words barely above a whisper as it was nothing but a lie.
---
Just them,
Baam!
As Xian Tian stood there, his gaze locked onto the sensual innkeeper, an unexpected event occurred.
A group of rowdy thugs burst into the inn, their loud and rowdy presence shattering the intimate atmosphere.
The innkeeper's sultry expression vanished in an instant, replaced by one of surprise and alarm.
Xian Tian, snapped back to reality from his captivated state, instinctively reached for his sword on his waist, preparing for a possible fight.
Tho he isn't a cultivator at the moment, he does know basic fighting and weapon handling.
...
The thugs, their presence heavy and imposing, entered the inn with a raucous clamor.
Each of them looked rowdy, with a disgusting scent as they must have not taken a bath for ages.
Loud, boisterous laughter echoed through the air, mingling with the sound of heavy footfalls on the wooden floorboards.
"Oi! What a nice little inn you got here," one of the thugs exclaimed, his voice carrying a hint of menace, as he held his machete high.
"Looks like we've stumbled upon a good place to spend the night."
Another thug chimed in, his tone dripping with sarcasm. "Quite a pretty little innkeeper we've got here too... You got any rooms left, honey bee?"
Hearing this,
The innkeeper, who had been enjoying her seductive game with Xian Tian, was now caught off guard by this sudden intrusion.
Her eyes widened slightly, and a hint of worry flashed across her face.
She quickly schooled her expression, though, and attempted to keep the atmosphere calm.
"Y-Yes, we have rooms available," she replied, her voice measured and composed.
"But I expect my customers to behave themselves respectfully," she added looking at the machete.
The thugs chuckled darkly at her response.
"Oh, we'll behave ourselves, don't you worry about that," one of them sneered.
"We're just looking for a place to rest for the night... and maybe have a little fun too,"
The innkeeper's gaze hardened at their suggestive tone, but she maintained her composure.
"I run a respectable establishment," she retorted firmly. "I don't allow unruly behavior or brawls in my inn,"
She stood her ground, muttering with courage, clenching her fist, fully prepared to shed blood if needed.
The lead thug, a bulky man, with a high body, and a scar at his chest, smirked at her, a sly glint in his eyes.
"Oh, we ain't looking for trouble, sweetheart. We just want a comfortable place to rest, some food, and maybe some companionship. And considering how pretty you are, you must be quite popular around here..."
The innkeeper bristled at his suggestive implication.
All while,
Xian Tian, standing nearby, observed the unfolding scene intently.
He was taken aback by the sudden intrusion of the thugs, but his fighting spirit surged within him.
He remained observant, carefully gauging the threat level of the situation.
He prepared himself to protect the innkeeper and play the hero.
At the same time,
Another thug spoke up, his gaze roaming hungrily over the innkeeper's slutty body.
"Yeah, looks like you could offer more than just a room for the night, beautiful doll,"
The innkeeper's jaw clenched imperceptibly, the mention of "more than a room" testing her patience.
She tried to maintain a calm facade, but her annoyance was evident.
This game was no longer fun... Slutty talk with Young Master was something enjoyable to her, but this... This isn't flirting, this is harassment.
"I apologize, but I'm a married woman," the innkeeper forced a strained smile, her voice laced with a mix of irritation and forced politeness.
"So there will be no 'more than a room' offered," She added.
The thugs chuckled amongst themselves at her statement, clearly not taking it seriously.
Married? Who cares?
One of them leaned against the wall, propping his elbow on it and giving her a sly smirk.
"Oh, come on, Madam. A pretty thing like you shouldn't be married. You should be with someone, who really appreciate you...A woman like you definitely handle all of us,"
