Chapter 4: The widow -3
The innkeeper's expression hardened at their lewd advances. While she typically enjoyed playful banter, the bandits' lack of respect and their insistence made this encounter uncomfortable.
She noticed Xian Tian standing nearby, his determination evident. He seemed prepared to intervene, and she silently hoped he wouldn't end up getting hurt in the process after all, she can't sense any spirituality in him.
Meanwhile, the lead thug smirked at her, clearly dismissing her protests. "A woman like you doesn't need to be tied down to some chump," he said, his sleazy grin widening.
Xian Tian's eyes narrowed as he bristled at the bandit's disrespectful words. He clenched his fists, his body tense and ready for a fight.
He had no idea that innkeeper was married, but he wasn't about to let these thugs disrespect her... After all, shooting at a post with goalkie is always better than shooting at a empty goal post.
The innkeeper spoke firmly but calmly, attempting to diffuse the situation. "I appreciate your interest, but I'm not interested in your company. And I would thank you to respect my boundaries,"
The lead thug's grin turned into a scoff. "Boundaries? What boundaries? You're just a cute little innkeeper, and we're paying customers. We deserve a little something extra."
Another thug chimed in, "Yeah, come on, don't be so uptight. We'll pay good money for a taste of you."
Xian Tian's jaw clenched, his anger rising at their insolent attitudes. He was about to interject when the innkeeper spoke up again.
...
The innkeeper's eyes flashed with irritation at the thugs' blatant disrespect. "I've already told you, I'm not interested. I will not entertain your suggestions, so I suggest you find another establishment to lodge in,"
The lead thug took a step closer, invading her personal space. He leered at her, his gaze roaming over her body in a lecherous manner. "Come on, sweetheart. Don't be so uptight,"
Xian Tian watched as the lead thug closed the gap between him and the innkeeper, his eyes narrowing with anger.
The bandit's lecherous gaze and disrespectful attitude further angered him.
How come this Bum take one fruits that Xian Tian has set his eyes on? A board light robbery? Unacceptable.
He was about to interject when the innkeeper spoke up again, maintaining her composure.
"I've already said no," she repeated firmly. "Now step back and leave me be,"
Heh~
The lead thug smirked, clearly amused by her defiant attitude. "You are feisty, aren't you?"
He stepped even closer, his body almost pressed against hers. "But feisty women like you are the most fun..."
The other thugs cackled and snickered behind him, relishing the spectacle.
Xian Tian's blood boiled as the thug got even closer to the innkeepers, clearly disregarding her boundaries. He clenched his fists tighter on his sword, resisting the urge to intervene just yet, waiting for the right moment.
The innkeeper raised her chin, meeting the thug's gaze with a steely glare. "I am not a toy for your amusement," she said with quiet determination.
The lead thug chuckled darkly, his smirk widening. "Oh, but you look like you could be..."
He reached out a hand, attempting to touch her face, but she swiftly stepped back, narrowly avoiding his grip. "Don't touch me," she hissed.
The thugs laughed, obviously entertained by her resistance.
The next instance, his hands rapidly moved towards her waist
But before Xian Tian could make a move, The woman's body began to glow, and the very next moment,
A golden laser beam penetrates the body of a lead thug, instantly sending him to lord Yama.
The remaining Thugs looked at each other,
"Holy... She is an Immortal Fairy,"
"Damn! An Immortal Fairy..."
"Please forgive us... We are nothing but fools, who failed to witness the greatness of Mount Tai,"
The remaining thugs got on their knees while they began to beg for their lives.
They were nothing more than a ordinary folks, fighting against a fairy was impossible for them.
Not just them, but even Xian Tian was confused seeing this, she just shot something magical... A beam of light, that instantly kills this bulky man, in a single go.
The Innkeeper's face turned cold, "Scram!"
She hissed a venom coated word at lowly bandits, causing them to tremble and run for their lives, holding their tails between their legs.
" Ah, Sorry for the trouble Young Master!" She bowed her head and looked at Xian Tian.
"No..." Xian Tian shook his head, unable to sprout a full sentence up his throat, for a moment.
"W-What was that?" Xian Tian couldn't help but ask in a small tone, unable to hold his curiosity, the very next instance
He also wished to shoot some laser light from his hands and eyes.
"Oh, Young Master doesn't know about cultivation... "She looked visibly confused at his words.
Bu the way he dressed, she thought he was some nobleman but turns out he doesn't know about cultivation.
"This is called Qi... A man Posses Yang Qi, and A woman posses Yin Qi, in order to weild it, you have find partner/s and cultivate the Yin-Yang harmony," She replied earnestly with polite gesture.
"Oh, Yin-Yang Harmony... " Xian Tian said in a small voice nodding his head, despite the fact he was unable to understand her.
"Yes... The cultivation realms are divided Into 6 phases;
