Chapter 446: System
Chapter 446: System
Even if the Creator was suppressing his power and true form, Shane couldn’t help but think that his appearance starkly resembled a human.
His physique was toned and extremely fit, while his short black hair fell on his forehead.
There was a touch of silver in his hair, but that was not as interesting as the Creator’s eyes.
They were golden in color with faint traces of silver, seemingly piercing through him!
Above the Creator’s right eye, one could see something like a mark, or tattoo that looked similar to a reversed wing.
It was golden in color with white-silver outlines and glowed lightly.
Shane was impressed by all of that, but the most shocking was the natural pressure the Creator was releasing.
It didn’t look like the Creator was doing anything but simply standing in front of him, and it was only after some time passed that the Creator started to speak.
“First of all, I would like to apologise for transporting you to my small domain without asking your permission. I hope that you didn’t have too many things to do, your world is about to be destroyed after all.”
His voice sounded nonchalant, yet the kindness that swept through the Creator’s aura made Shane almost believe that the being in front of him was talking about something good.
However, Shane could only think one thing as he heard the Creator’s words.
‘Does that mean it’s already certain that Igra will cease to exist?’
Despite knowing that the possibility of Igra’s destruction was extremely high, it had never been certain, but that seemed to have changed right now.
Nevertheless, Shane was able to retain his composure.
This astonished him too, and it was even weirder as his earlier worries dispersed.
Shane was completely calm and nothing seemed to be on his mind as the Creator began speaking again.
“I think you have many questions for me, but before that I would like you to listen to me about something, which could have to do with you in the future.”
There was no reason for Shane to shake his head or voice out his discontent right now, and he was simply confused about encountering the being that created the Primordial dimensions and system.
‘I thought he was evil…Is what I’m seeing an illusion or the truth?’
While Shane was confused, the Creator, whose name was still unknown, had already started to speak.
“As you may know, only you, and the Dark Ice Elf halfling, Megane, has been able to meet me until now.
This has a reason, and it’s mostly about the little Elf attaining a perfect foundation while having obtained something in the dungeons even I couldn’t foretell.
As for you, your situation is…quite special, isn’t it? You’re a transmigrator after all!”
Just as Shane wanted to focus on the conversation, the Creator figured out his situation right off the bat, which caused him to break out in a sweat.
His back was almost immediately drenched in cold sweat, only for the Creator to continue speaking.
“It’s not like you’re the first transmigrator I met, but your entire existence is something that piqued my interest.
Everything about you is unique, right from your first name Shane, your family name Stella, the blessing and Innate Skill the system unsealed, up to the fact that you were able to create a soul world.
Even then, I didn’t expect you to be able to unseal the bloodline of your ancestry, because it shouldn’t be something the human race on Igra should be able to do anymore.”
This caused Shane’s ears to prick.
“How can you not know that I could unseal this bloodline…Sir?
Wasn’t the system created by you? How else could I have obtained the customized occupation that unsealed my bloodline?!”
Shane was confused which caused him to voice out the first question that was on his mind.
Subconsciously, he didn’t even use many honorifics, which was necessary to show his respect to the old.
However, the Creator didn’t seem to mind this as he answered,
“I’m not constantly observing everything. I don’t have enough time to spare to do that. There are certain things that occupy most of my time.
The System was indeed created by me as well as the Primordial dimensions, but that doesn’t mean I know everything.
There are countless beings in the small expanse the dimension portals have been placed over time, and you want me to know what every single being that accepted the system is doing?
As stated already, I have better things to do!”
Even after the creator explained the fact that he didn’t know about Shane’s unsealed bloodline, he couldn’t help but feel weird.
“Occupied with…what?”
Shane found that this was probably one of the most important questions he would ask. Unfortunately, instead of providing an answer, the Creator intervened,
“One question after another, lad. I think I should start from the question of why I created the system and Primordial dimensions, otherwise, you won’t be able to understand anything….”
After that was said, the Creator mumbled, “How can he be as restless as the Elf halfling…”
“As I mentioned already, the system and Primordial dimensions were created by me! This can be said to have multiple reasons and I won’t explain all of them to you because they involve things you won’t understand yet.
To put it in very simple terms, the system was created as a guide to unlock the hidden potential of every being that accepted it.
The system’s main focus is to unleash a being’s potential and to increase its strength while similarly giving them the knowledge that would take most civilizations eons to understand without help.
A long time has passed since the system was created, but it was only recently that two beings, to be precise you and the halfling called Megane, were able to create a perfect foundation.
The answer to this is relatively easy too. While the system is seen as a guide, the Primordial dimensions are supposed to polish the talented beings that dare to enter them.
Meanwhile, the weak will either be forced to retreat, die, or overcome the hurdles and increase their strength with the system missions that were created for this cause.
In order to reach the highest combat prowess, the system missions are naturally more difficult the higher one’s mana purity was.
This is, at least, one deciding factor in the Basic dimensions- Overcoming hurdles and insurmountable issues will be generously rewarded!
In the end, both the system and the Primordial dimensions turned into something that gave every being an equal and fair opportunity to become more talented by solving system missions, while being forced to hone their skills that isn’t limited to combat, and to use one’s mind in order to become stronger!”
Shane listened to everything intently, but he couldn’t help but feel that everything sounded just too good.
As such, thinking that the Creator was relatively patient to allow two oblivious beings to enter its domain, Shane asked one of the questions he had always wondered about.
“But why would you care about increasing the combat prowess of other races? I doubt that the creation of the system and Primordial dimensions was that easy, and without any gains, or a proper reason, it feels…surreal, Sir!”
