Chapter 88: Almond's Business
While Almond and Lily had gone into the dungeon, Rudra had also gone into a red-bordered A-rank Dungeon. Alone, of course.
He exited after 7 hours. The moment he left, his wristwatch rang with a notification.
"Hmm?" Rudra raised his eyebrows. It was a video link to an Eyetube Video, the biggest video sharing and live stream platform.
[A mysterious silver-rank trampling all over 1300+ DV B-rank dungeon.]
The video had a boastful title with the initial video screen showing.
Dungeon Result of Lair of Orc Bandit King Trokka.
First Area: 50 Pin-Furred Wolves annihilated within 3 minutes.
Second Area: 200 Orc Bandit Warriors were decimated within 24 minutes.
Third Area: 30 Elite Orc Bandit Platoons ruined within 54 minutes.
Final Boss Area: Orc Bandit King Trokka—one shot.
The video was just 10 minutes long, but it showed key parts, showing off the good moves.
Admiral Rudra started watching the video and immediately knew it was Almond.
He watched to see how Almond was doing. He nodded as he watched the fight in the first.
When he watched him fight in the second area, Admiral Rudra smacked his lips, thinking how fast he was growing in combat proficiency.
And when he watched the third area's fight, he was silent.
Something clicked in him as his expression changed. He called someone and spoke with stern urgency, "Take down this video from Eyetube. Fast!"
He then called Almond.
…
It was a bit over 4 o'clock in the evening. Almond's group had exited the Dungeon three hours ago. Lily's dungeon was a biome-type with a bigger size with less Density Value as those required more time to clear due to dungeon size.
They had exited just an hour ago.
Both groups had met up at a place to eat. Almond was famished as he had physically pushed himself for thrill and challenge in the dungeon, and others were hungry.
Admiral Rudra's call arrived just as the food arrived.
Almond simply nodded with a 'Mhmm' and said 'Yes' on the phone, as he didn't talk much.
[Rudra: Almond, what you showed in that video is easily discernable to top experts, especially those in the dark that I talked about. Don't show too much talent to them, and if you do, tell your friend to do it properly, like…]
The talk lasted for roughly four minutes before Almond wryly smiled and turned off the wristwatch connection.
"What did he say?" Lily asked.
"Well, it's about the video. He said it's fine to upload, but make sure that the video doesn't get any hints that make it connect to me. Julian was visible once, and both of your voices, too. Those could be used to discern that it was me in the video even though my face was censored completely."
"Ohh…" Roken's neck shrank. "Did Admiral reprimend you?"
"Nah, he just told me to tell you to censor the video properly. It's taken down, but you can upload after removing the hints that reveal your and my identity."
"So your identity must not be exposed through the video, huh?" Julian raised his eyebrows. "Why such a secrecy?"
"I can't tell," Almond shook his head. "As a matter of fact, this is a precaution because there's not much information at hand for that particular subject in the first place."
"I see, since there's not much information in the first place, it's better to be careful from the start," Lily nodded. "Admira Rudra must believe in his hunch or whatever that makes him want to set this precaution."
"Yeah," Almond nodded, his gaze on the food as he sniffed slowly, taking in the fragrance."Anyway, let's start eating. After that, I need to open a business with everyone's help."
…
The group returned to Almond's courtyard villa after eating and sat down on the couches, watching Almond in the spacious spot in the hall.
"Here's our products."
Almond waved his hand as items started pouring out from a black portal, forming piles.
Aside from devouring a Spirit of each monster species and officially getting his stats to the limit of Silver rank, Almond had used the rest of the Spirits to craft spirit items.
Pin-Furred Wolves gave cross-bows that conjure and shoot exploding arrows of flame attribute and a throwable-type item—Spike Bomb, that bursts into exploding spikes upon impact.
Orc Bandit Warriors gave medium and heavy armor and various kinds of melee weapons like swords, clubs, hammers, and such.
The third area had Platoons that consisted of Orc Bandit Mages, Assassins, Warriors, Tanks, and Support, so spirit items from them were of a wide variety.
Naturally, Almond saved the Dungeon Boss's Soul.
"Out of four hundred and eighteen items here, roughly half of them are Low-tier Rare-grade. The rest of them are uncommon-grade."
Julian and Roken were dumbfounded.
"Hoho, that's a big loot, Almond. So you want to sell them, eh?" Natalia rubbed her chin. "This can legit work. We are getting rich with this."
"True," Lily nodded. "If we sell them cheap and reasonable, they'll sell like hotcakes even if they are not permanent because your items have good effects."
"Come on, it's time to inspect them and set the prices for each batch of items. We'll think about how to sell them after deciding appropriate prices."
Lily and Natalia arrived at the pile and started working.
"Let's separate the piles into the batches of the same items first. We'll put a price tag on each batch."
Julian and Roken looked at each other as they swallowed hard. They knew Almond had one more crazy class skill, and they were dying to learn more about it.
As if Almond read their thoughts, he sent them the skill's details and said, "Here's the skill responsible for these items. Read it and then join here."
…
After creating several smaller piles of the same items and putting their price tags.
"Bro, if we sell all of these items, then you'll get roughly 2 million Gold coins!" Roken excitedly said, "And this is your product from just one Dungeon run!"
Almond grinned, "I am seeing hope of unlocking my skill's options early now. So, how are we going to sell these times efficiently? Any suggestions?"
