Second Marriage: My Strongest Bodyguard

Chapter 15 - Know The Facts About Dean's Wife

Dean and Bryana have arrived in Jakarta. Currently, they were on their way back to Bryana's house by taxi.

Bryana did not move while staring at the roadside atmosphere that looked less beautiful, because it was raining at the moment. although it wasn't that heavy, the air was quite cold and the atmosphere was so gloomy. Occasionally the beautiful woman embraces her own body because it is cold and forgets not to bring a jacket.

"Just put on my jacket," said Dean as he put his leather jacket on Bryana. it turned out that he had been paying attention to his employer.

"Thank you," Bryana said with a friendly smile. Oh god, that cute smile was immediately responded to by Dean's amazing smile that couldn't be held back anymore.

They both returned to silence each other until they arrived in Bryana's yard.

"You wait here a moment, I'll take the umbrella," said Dean.

Bryana nodded in agreement. Dean immediately got out of the car and ran to the security post to get the umbrella that was always available there.

Bryana looked at Dean who was running in the rain just to get an umbrella for her. 'How beautiful life is if I have a husband like him,' she thought with a look of admiration at Dean.

Dean already took the umbrella from the security post, he immediately opened the umbrella and then approached Bryana. the man opened the door with his umbrella so that when the mistress came out, she didn't get wet at all.

When Bryana got out and walked into the porch with Dean, there was a flash of lightning and a thunderbolt. Instantly the woman was startled and embraced the bodyguard reflexively.

Dean was silent as he looked down at Bryana who was hugging him until the lightning stopped sounding, he did not move or make a sound, but enjoyed the warmth of his master's embrace.

"MOMMY ...!"

Bryana immediately took her arms off Dean when she heard Calvin who was standing there with Louis calling her.

"Sorry, Dean. I just feel too scared because there was lightning," she said awkwardly.

"It's okay, Jill, I understand," Dean replied.

Dean immediately walked back to the terrace side by side with Bryana, but the lightning rumbled again and Bryana reflexively hugged the bodyguard again.

Dean smiled then tried to be flat again.

"Sorry." Bryana took the hug off again, feeling so embarrassed.

"It is okay." the Dean smiled reassuringly. Gosh, that warm smile seemed to make Bryana's heart melt, in her heart as if to say, 'if you were mine.'

Louis smiled seeing Dean staring at each other under the umbrella, he sighed and said, "This is like in a romantic movie."

"MOMMY!" Calvin returned to call his mother.

Dean and Bryana returned to focus walking towards the terrace toward Calvin and Louis who were waiting.

"Where's the mini plane?" asked Calvin, who immediately collected a souvenir.

"Uh, mommy forgot to buy it, son. Let's just buy it at the toy store tomorrow, okay?" Bryana tries to persuade a visibly disappointed Calvin.

"Mommy is bad!" Calvin immediately ran into the house.

Bryana sighed trying to be patient with Calvin, she immediately caught up with her son, who must be angry and will be difficult to calm down.

Dean looked with pity at Bryana, who played the role of mother and father, and even her life was always in danger.

Tin ... tin,

The taxi driver pressed the horn. Dean immediately returned to the taxi to get his and Bryana's suitcase. he ran back to the terrace to avoid the keeper being caught in the rain for too long.

"Dean, you are very lucky," said Louis with a mischievous smile.

"How lucky?" asked Dean while stroking his slightly damp hair.

"The beautiful lady was always with you and even had time to hug you," answered Louis by shaking his head in admiration at Dean.

Dean, who was accustomed to responding to his closeness to Bryana with a flat face, now smiled with a tinge of happiness on his face.

"It's just a coincidence because he's afraid of lightning," explained Dean then dragged a suitcase belonging to Bryana. "Bring my suitcase," he exclaimed afterward.

Louis sighed and then dragged Dean's suitcase, took him into Bryana's mansion to Dean's special room which was located not far from his room.

Dean climbed the stairs lifting the suitcase until it reached the top floor, walked about five meters until he arrived at the door of Bryana's room.

knock ... knock ... knock!

"Jill," called Dean as he knocked on the door.

Until a few moments of waiting, the door opened. Dean was stunned to see Bryana, who currently only wears a white boxer thigh-length combined with transparent white pliers top, he can see Bryana's maroon bra.

"Why, Dean?" Bryana asked when she saw Dean daydreaming.

"Uh, this is your suitcase," Dean replied nervously looking down at Bryana's suitcase.

"Oh, thanks," Bryana said and then grabbed the suitcase. "You can rest now because today I will only be at home," she continued.

"Okay," Dean replied a little awkwardly and then turned back to his room.

"Dean," Bryana called. Somehow reflexively wanted to call him, as if she didn't want the bodyguard to leave.

Dean immediately turned his head to look at Bryana. "Yes, do you need something?" he asked.

"Uh, no," Bryana replied, then confused about what else to say. "Are you going to take time off every week?" she asked spontaneously.

"If you don't mind," replied Dean.

Bryana smiled awkwardly. "If it's for your daughter and wife, I don't mind. Bodyguards also need quality time with their families," she said and then wanted to turn back into the room.

Dean didn't flinch for a moment and said in his low voice. "My wife was dead."

As soon as Bryana fell silent and discouraged going into the room, she turned to look at Dean who was no longer smiling. The woman stared at a bodyguard that could not hide the tinge of sadness on his face.

"Died?" Bryana confirmed what she had just heard.

"Yes," Dean briefly then lowered his head and smiled faintly. "I have to go back to the room, my clothes are a little wet," he continued.

Bryana nodded by looking at Dean who slowly moved away from her sight until Dean arrived downstairs, she looked down at him with a feeling of confusion.

"Is that what makes you rarely smile, has a fragility? I did not think your life is more bitter than mine." Bryana monologues with herself. Bryana's mind crossed the image of Dean's little daughter who had to leave work without a mother.

"Then who was protect his daughter? I have to find out." Bryana immediately returned to the room feeling curious. Of course, she would be a woman who looks cruel because she hired a bodyguard who had to work with her but left his daughter who also had to be protected.

___

Dean walked quickly into his room, he immediately took off his clothes, then stared at his reflection in the mirror.

'Why you say that your wife is dead? Do you think it will make her pity and fall in love with you? Remember, you are only a grain of dust for her. she is just like Clarissa, her family will only look down on you, you better not dream too much to get her.'

Dean seemed to get a whisper to remember who he was, whether he was expecting Bryana or not. His red eyes stared at his reflection.

"I've been trying to ignore this feeling, but she's too good to miss. It's like ... like the time I've fallen in love with her.. Gosh! Why can't I control myself?" dean squeezed his hair in frustration, cursing herself for falling in love with Bryana even more.
